Indeed the volatility is insane, but you have more chances at getting rich with bitcoin than you do with dollars.

No, you don't.  Bring $10,000 cash to a casino and play War.  You have a much better chance and fair odds (you won't be subject to manipulation) of doubling your money than you do putting it in bitcoin right now...and faster.

You want to get rich quick?  There are countless better ways than bitcoin.  That ship has long sailed, at least for the very foreseeable future.

I don't agree with you that casino is better way to earn good money.
In fact, you will probably loose all your money there, because ''house always wins''.
Yes, the price of BTC is very low now, but this price can increase again, and if you are patient and can wait, you can earn very good money again, like in the past.
You loose with BTC only if you don't wait but sell right now, for such low price.
So, eventually you will earn with bTC but if you loose money in Casino, you will never get this money back.

You always complaints about shitcoin's premine. You always complain about altcoins dumps.
You are so blind that you cannot see that BTC is the biggest scam and manovrated market ever. Is something so incomprensible that when adoption get greater and wider price goes deeper and deeper.
All the people who mined milions of BTC prior to the 2013 Bubble can now modify the prices and markets as they wants. BTC is going down and it ill go more and more if this people will not stop getting profit as they are doing now.
This is a complete shit, and i'm really sad about 'cause I thought BTC was a good chance to change the world as we know now. But I evidently been wrong so far.
(Disclaimer: i do not buy BTC on the markets and i hold a discrete amount of it, cause i gained with works and jobs. Now i feel that i would have preferred to be paid in dollars or euros. At least my "own bank" wouldn't have lost 30% in a month. That's a shit.)

Bitcoin rules are the same for everyone. Don't blame imaginary friends(enemies) who do things to break your toy. If you were paid in euro you would have lost more than 20% in one day vs the CHF, and more than 10% vs USD. And what if you were paid with RUB?

At least bitcoin is not manipulated by central banks and it can go from $200 to $1200 (or more) with the same ease it came down.

And if you don't like it, you can just get rid of it.

none of this is about getting fiat rich.
early adopters were pioneers.
they mined when it had no value.  none at all.  ZERO.

the late early adopters (gpu) were mining with hundreds of dollars of equipment when they earned pennies a day in bitcoin.

don't hate.  i regret not knowing earlier also.

if the early whales including Satoshi cash out the price will plummet.  bitcoin will not fail as the diehard will always mine.  100 years from now it may be worth something again when the people are more educated and fiat buying power has decreased more severely.

DEAD WRONG!

Largest scam IMHO is SNB manipulating EUR/CHF, currently to the tune of over CHF 500 000 000 000 and they still keep doing it

Oil has been fallen sharply too, but no scam here. Since the end of QE3, almost every commodity's price is on a free fall against USD, simply because there is no more fresh USD every day to buy these things (QE3 was printing 2.8 billion USD per day)

To make it worse, bitcoin miners still pump out 3600 coins per day. To absorb those 3600 coins, either miners hoard most of them (Which is less and less possible due to the mining has been taken over by large farms which have to sell coins to cover their cost), or the usage increases (people buy bitcoin as long term saving, to transfer value oversea, or to purchase goods/services). When price cut by half, for same usage you need double amount of coins, the demand for coins will double, the price drop will eventually stop when the price is enough low

Speculative inflation just means that a lot of people saw Bitcoin's future value.  After the next block halving, it will be worth more.  After millions of people start using it, it will be worth more.  So people started buying based on what it will be worth in the future.  If they hold their coins into the future, I think they might be glad they paid $1200.

But then other people realized that it's not worth that much yet.  The next block halving and the millions of new users are still in the future.  So the $1200 price is still in the future.

If Bitcoin continues to exist, and if the number of users increases, then the price will increase.  It is a mathematical certainty.  The uncertainty is whether it will continue and gain adoption.

Bitcoin is a big innovation. Its currently going through a tough time which brings out the trolls like the OP.

Once prices go up all these sentiment will vanish quickly.
