This is pyramid, ponzi, I think it's some sort of the game. Just don't risk something you can't afford to lose. The last time I participated in the very same pyramid (the first one) - I've made more than 2 BTC with 0.25 deposit only. And I've joinde just several weeks after the launch.
P.S: I think this is the way to get people informed about bitcoin and show them that bitcoin is not any kind of pyramid itself!
