I do like the blue better, and like it as a whole, Would need to drop a Server or rig setup behind it for the main page image.

I Like that one actually, although not what I wanted, A server could be added for the home page of the site, and removed for logo use. Hmm

What programs do you guys use to do these pics?
I'm not quite sure where to go with the server idea, plus if you ask me, a logo should never have a real (looking) picture/photo. It needs to stand out, be easy to remember/recognize, and support the general image of your 'brand'. In my mind that sounds like reliability and trust, which I translate to clean lines, nothing overly complicated, and definitely not pretentious.
Anyway, my idea is along these lines:
