Btc price already decreasing a lot. what do you think? how deep it could go through? Someone says BTC price will go bellow 10k as with the start of new year
It is really doubtful bitcoin is going to go lower than 10k but if that happens my only recommendation that I can give is to buy all the bitcoin you can afford since I doubt we are going to see that price for long.

While a drop below 10k is a possibility, I do not think it is likely at the turn of the new year. Don't forget, the BTC will also rebound. With BTC, you always win

Be careful about it, bitcoin is always going up, but it doesn't mean that it will go up forever.

This is the first concept and the first thing that you need to understand before investing in bitcoin -> nothing is fover, not even the pattern of bitcoin.

And no, the price wasn't less than ten thousand dollars because we are still going up at the moment ($14k)

What i have observed that now it is fluctuating gradually around $13K and $12k, this gradual movement could be an indication of another pump.
BTW the price has already decreased a lot (more than 40%) and there is high uncertainty in market, so it is hard to predict that in which direction the price is heading, it may increase rapidly to cross the previous $20k benchmark or may fall more in the same way.

Nothing specifically happened on the first day of New Year, price is moving around 13k$ level and yesterday is touch 14K$ again for short time.Looking at the past few days 10k$ is unlikely that will happen because every time when it is close to 12k$ it is bounce back and stay for some time between 13-14k$.

Unconfirmed transaction is close to 100k which is significant improvement from almost 300k we have recently, and fee is also drop to 490 satoshis/byte.But this is just because of New Year's Eve and celebrations around the world, little relief for blockchain.

I think there's a strong support at that rate btc would have to really dump hard to break it. I don't see anything wrong if it dors though. And its nit even alarming. Its healthy to have these kinds of correction after the pace btc made in hitting 20k early december

BTC's mind boggling rise in price was because of it's acceptance in CME & CBOE. Then price fell because of lackluster demand but take note that this is exacerbated by the fact that this holiday season and volumes are lowest around this point. So if anything BTC price is about to rise. FYI CME has launched BTC futures trading simulator to help mainstream traders to get a taste of trading BTC without any capital loss.

I don't think the price will move to 10,000$ on the day one of 2018.Because due to the year start their will be increase in price and not a fall .So you can expect more raise on next year, the price may return to 19,000$ and it will increase more than 25k$ in upcoming months.

The real deal will begin tomorrow, well not tomorrow because tomorrow most people will still be during holidays, but give it at least aw eek from now to see where we are at in the long term. If we can get past the current $14k heads and shoulders dip then we should be good to go for another couple of weeks of upside to potentially test a new all time high.

If on the other hand we fail this, and we keep having FUD news like the Austrian gov news, we may keep dipping.

Look different people has different and own opinion. So,people can tell so that the price of bitcoin can dip down to 10k in the first day of the coming year of 2018.

Yeah,it can really happen but we can't say it before it happens. There is nobody in this world who can predict the exact price of bitcoin. Because it's price is dependent on specific situation and market rate.

If the price dip down to 10k, then it will be a bad start of the new year.It will be really disappointing. But still I hope the price will rise and make us surprised.

Nope. I think the maximum that the bitcoin price can fall is $10,000 and if you see at the price of bitcoin right now, it's around $13k+ and its not go down again. New year is 1 hour left in my country, so yeah bitcoin will not fall into $10k on 01/01/2018.

It could be a dip, but it's quite a serious one. I don't think that it would be easy for markets to recover like the did when BTC/USD was at full steam. Perhaps the new year will meet Bitcoin which quite a bit of competition.

If alts, led by Ripple, Cardano and rest of the new group, continue to attack, we may even see it under 10K.
Which will be very unfortunate start of the new year... I will definitely reconsider what to include and what not in my holding for the new year.

The charts tells that the bitcoin's price is gradually recovering from the huge dump. There are so many factors that affect the bitcoin's price so don't just expect for an increase. Hopefully the first months of 2018 will be good start for bitcoin to fully get back on track.

Btc price already decreasing a lot. what do you think? how deep it could go through? Someone says BTC price will go bellow 10k as with the start of new year
As of the moment 1BTC = $13021
Maybe this will gonna go through 10k.
But im hoping it will go up at 15k as the investors will resume after the holiday break.

For me the price does not really base on how the day is important but it just in the market. Not because it is christmas or newyear that it will increase, it is based on the marketcap  and how it is manipulated around the world. So expect the price to spike in just those regular days.

Definitely yes.
I also think $10K is good for bitcoin. We need some reality check and need to calm people down. We all want a healthy steady bull market, not a crazy pump and dump btc market.

It's possible the price of bitcoin will drop to 10k. But there is two scenario happen before new year's come maybe it will increase a little bit or dump the price. I can't assure this will be happen because the price is correcting the right price.

It's common volatility, plus the fact that the market doesn't have much incentive to go up further in a calm market. I can't really see the market drop below the $10k level, but I won't discard it either. We shouldn't forget how spoiled we have been with everything that happened recently. If we look at the main price drivers, then by far it were the future markets (CBOE & CME), and everything was priced in at the moment CME came on board as second future market. It makes sense for the market to take a step back when there isn't anything hinting at a short term further increase. No matter how much we have gone down, we're still up significantly, let's not forget that.

Decreasing a lot? It has increased a lot too so what can you expect? Nothing can go that quick and will never have an opposite reaction after it's rapid pump. That $10k prediction is possible to happen but for now I've seen that the price of bitcoin starts to give us some chill again and I guess this will be the start of it's fueled market again and will let others not to the ride the pump on the first weeks or quarter of 2018.

I think this is not possible.Because the bitcoin is slowly stabilizing.Bitcoin prices will increase further in 2018.Because Bitcoin's popularity is increasing day by day. Many people are now relying on Bitcoin.Bitcoin payment is now offered to many large marketplaces.
