Don't be stressed.

Always think that there's always a rainbow after rain. Instead of stressing yourself why not think of a way to get out of this mess. It might be hard for you but with the proper brainstorming, you can plan what's the best thing to do.

Relax for some time to calm your mind. It's better to do it prior to brainstorming so you can get good and various ideas.

Too sad that all necessities and basic needs are increasing. But can we fight this alone to pull the prices back? I don't think that there's a solution to it.

But we can make some ways of having these basic needs like what we can see in farming. If you own an acre or hectare or just a small lot, you can plant some of those plants that will give you basic ingredients and vegetables.

Although I really want to complain a lot with almost weekly increase for the price of these commodities but I'll choose some alternative and way to at least reduce the cost.

I think this is it we are f...ked !

Every now and then the same thought runs through my head! We are fucked up and nothing can save us! Just look at them, their shows, and their performance... but people still buy politicians shit, they still believe that one man can save them from everything... in 21 century we still have religious fanatics and so many wars... people against people, all I see are innocent victims... people who wanted to live normal lives but they got trapped... circle that never ends!
Well, hard truth is that majority is still stupid and totally uneducated about the world and global stage! There's no other explanation, I took my own example and my town, people who live here... like we are still in the 17 century! Do you think you can explain something to most of them?! I tried, and I have been called a lot of names for trying that... I know I lost my nerves, but be my guest and try for yourself...  So I guess we are fucked up... some more and some less, like always!

There were always problems in the world, but what we are having now is much smaller than what we had in the past - world wars, hunger that was taking millions of lives, dictatorships that were killing thousands of their own people every day, diseases like the Spanish Flu that killed way more people than Covid-19. So don't have such a negative view on the world, it's bad for your own health.

Unfortunately we live in very fragile economic conditions we never seen before. Like the OP stated there is a combination of economic, medical and societal factors that is creating a lot of uncertainty in the air. However, we shouldn't hesitate to see the full part of the glass - the rapid advancement of technology is creating massive growth in productivity and unlocking even more opportunities for humanity.

An investor these days needs to weigh very carefully the growth and the risks to be successful. But this should be done in any environment anyway Smiley

People really love to nitpick things and make something out of it, even if it means completely nothing.

The crises you speak of have been around for quite some time now. Due to compounded problems and the never-ending problems on the current pandemic, this is what's really going to happen. And since almost everything has shifted to distanced everything (jobs, schools, meetings, etc.)—and people becoming reliant to technology more than ever—tech companies will surely be receiving a huge piece of the cake for this, and Apple is one of them. I don't see anything wrong with it, just people shifting some of their spending to what they currently need to still be in their jobs or in their schools, which are laptops, tablets, and phones.

High inflation , high energy prices ,food crisis, covid crisis, climate change crisis, cargo shipping crisis, computer chips crisis...

Wars, coups, protests around the world etc etc ....at least no nukes for now.

And f...king Apple has record sales: https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2022/1/27/apple-smashes-earnings-estimates-with-record-sales

Simply put, while some ants have some problems, other ants don't care. All in all, the forest may be slowly dying, but it may have better days.
I don't see the things be significantly worse than they were 6 months ago.
And there's clearly no relation to any arbitrary date, no matter how nice it looks like.

Stop reading/watching all the crap news (since their only goal is to panic you and keep you watching), try to find something interesting to do, get a book, or a computer game, or some good series to watch, maybe also go out if possible.
You seem to go towards depression and that doesn't help anyone. Break out of it.

Aside from high inflation and energy prices there is really nothing new here? Apple has had great sales before, most of the crises listed have been with us for a long time (ie climate change crisis). Some crises are very much regional (ie food crises). Sure, the situation is not ideal, but is it really any worse than before?

The coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital tools for communication, learning and entertainment, powering Apple to blowout sales across each of the company’s segments, including computers, accessories and tablets.

I won't have to doubt this . The covid-19 pendamic protective protocols have really favoured some companies which Apple is number benefactor.

From your link above, you see much performance by Apple in there sales. Smart phones are in high demand, computers and other social communicating equipment and Apple is at the front of it all, the iPhones despite there high price are in good demand.
