The website loads for most users on this thread, perhaps you could try to use a VPN to some USA city or European one? I was also able to access it, so probably they geo blocked your country from accessing the service?
Agbe is a Nigerian and I believe his friend also would be a Nigerian. Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has told all network providers to make Nigerians not to be able to access all exchanges when Binance was accused of naira manipulation. Although, Nigerians are able to access the exchanges using mobile apps, but the exchanges can not be accessed through their websites. I use VPN, set it to Netherlands and it worked but I was unable to access it using the IP address. The VPN location should not be set to USA because exchanges that are not registered in US always try to avoid US citizens and US VPN location from accessing them.

Unrelated to what, and sadly to your friend, I don't believe he'll see any of the funds that he as been sending to that service. The best that he can do now is stopping (if he hasn't yet) channeling funds over Muhus.

I did not find information about https://muhus.com, so I decided to visit their domain. They claim it is a wallet, but it is a crypto exchange. I created an account there and got an address for deposits and withdrawals. I searched for a way to extract the private key and did not find it. The service it has is https://muhus.com/terms and https://muhus.com/aml-kyc-policy You also get an account ID, so if your friend has completed the identity verification procedures, he can contact the support team to give him access to his balance.

If it has a KYC policy then it is not a wallet, it is an exchanger! Nobody should be storing their life savings in an exchanger.

I did not find information about https://muhus.com, so I decided to visit their domain. They claim it is a wallet, but it is a crypto exchange.
How did you manage to get through to their website? I have typed https://muhus.com and it didn't load, I used Google to search for them and it didn't pull up any results. I am livid because how can a crypto wallet or an exchange have no digital footprint any where on the Internet. I even checked on Twitter and found only one result of someone who dropped their referral link and yet the website didn't open. Maybe it is because we are from different regions but then, it is very wild. A website without any digital footprint will not have a support for their clients.
Big lesson for everyone to stay away from these unknown, unverified crypto wallets or exchanges. And tell your friends too.

This looks like another scam service that just drains the user funds and shows their supposed bitcoin balance increase without actually having any kind of bitcoin in it. The main reason why they don't allow your friend to withdraw their funds from the service is because there aren't any funds to withdraw from. Sadly your friend has been scammed and probably won't ever see his money back.

The service stinks with scam - if you try to click in any of the options at the bottom of the page you literally can't open any of them without signing up for the service which is a red flag. What kind of service hides their terms, policies, KYC procedures, privacy policies within a sign up procedure? It just shows that they really wanted to have your information on their side so that they could exploit people.

Their registration number 12769910 gives me MAGIC SCARVES LTD, which has a different address than what mentioned. When I search for office address details, I do not find any data about CRYPTO ASSIST LTD. They lied about their registration number.

Another red flag - check the first snapshot made by WayBackMachine of this website and you'll see that it consisted mostly of flash games[1]. After ~2012 all the snapshots archived just show a blank webpage[2] so something fishy definitely is going on with that service. Do consider that probably your friend also installed a compromised application on his phone as well.

However, when I look at the design of the site, it reminds me a lot of some scam exchanges that used a similar template. I hope I'm wrong, although it doesn't look legit to me personally.
I hope they are not scammers but they claim to be a registered company

@Yamane_Keto, strange, I couldn't find anything when I searched by keywords - maybe it's the browser, the search engine, or there is some geo-ban on displaying the results for the same... Huh

I haven't heard of that wallet at all, why did your friend choose that wallet since doesn't have a seed phrase?

Upon searching I found this on Reddit posted last month, they're talking that this wallet is 100% scam.

I tend to agree above, if there's no seed phrase given so there's no chance your friend recover his locked Bitcoin.

Are you sure it's an app? I changed the browser settings to show it like the phone screen and see what I got

I didn't find any trace of it, it seems that someone made sure that wallet disappeared - at least as far as those who won't use some special skills to try to find some trace that is more difficult or impossible to erase. I can only repeat the same question - did your friend get the opportunity to make a backup in the form of a seed word or anything else (private keys)?

I don't know why anyone even thinks of keeping such a large amount in a wallet that is (at least to me) completely unknown and, as we can see, completely unreliable Roll Eyes

It is possible that the wallet shows a balance that does not actually exist - it is one of the tricks to deceive the victim that the coins are still there, and it is possible that they have been "moved" a long time ago.

I don't know why there is no information on Muhus wallet or exchange on the internet. I have made tried to get my hands about Muhus, but I got lost. I feel that wallet should be a closed source and the company have disappeared into thin air, or if it is an exchange they must have made an exit scam. Open source wallets are the best in which we can use to store bitcoin. It is good to also use only bitcoin wallet to store bitcoin. I feel pity for your friend because he lacks the knowledge on how to keep his coins safe. If you say that he is seeing his balance ask him of his seed phrase and that is if the wallet supports importing of seed phrase to a new wallet.

Does he have his seed phrase to the wallet? If so ask him to try and import his seed to another wallet like eletrum or any other standard wallet. I tried checking also for the wallet online but no result anywhere. Are you sure your friend had downloaded it on play store? Or just some random links online. If the later, I'm sure I haven't heard of such wallet before.

Advice your friend to try my first opinion if he still has his seed phrases. If he imports and doesn't find and funds inside then he probably have been scammed. Please we should try our best to use standard wallets

A friend of mine was using Muhus wallet to keep his bitcoins Since 2021 and he was using it without any problem even early last year he was using it to make transfer but late last year he could not make any transactions again and according to him he was sending coins to an address and the wallet warned him that he should not send to the address and he tried twice and after that day he could not send for the Muhus Wallet again but the bitcoins are still inside the wallet.

And he came to me to help him out and I tried my best but no avail. And when I checked the app in Google Play Store, I didn't see it again and he was surprised because according to him, he downloaded it form there. And even the website too is no longer there again. So I am here to see if there will be any help from here. We were also contemplating whether if the wallet is no longer available in the country to be used. So any help?
