Not sure why you put your birth date in your username, but I don't think anyone would cry much about a 1-post illiterate newbie leaving the forum.

Lol, that's hilarious.  Grin

However, OP isn't a "1-post illiterate newbie" because someone who is either a newbie or an illiterate wouldn't know much about signature campaigns and how they work in the first place. Have you ever heard about the idiom "Sour Grapes"? It seems to be a case like that to me. OP has probably tried his best to reach a rank where he could join a signature campaign. He might have even bought an account but failed to get a slot and gave up. Then he thought of at least taking out his frustration somehow, and he thought of this to be the best way.  Roll Eyes

I'm pretty sure he didn't spend much time on this forum and has never been an honest, constructive community member, even if he pretends to be one.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
My god, your English is atrocious.  Now I've read a lot of posts from the 2010 era, and the vast majority of them were nothing like the crap you wrote here--so hopefully you're not trying to pass yourself off as one of the earliest members, because I'm not buying it.  On top of that, you could have written your post using your original account if you'd cared to, and it wouldn't have made any difference at all.
I suppose, he must be a very good reader to have learnt about the person he's tryna impersonate...What baffles me is why his stupid ass ain't telling him to create a persona with his skills all by himself, but no, he'll rather prefer beating a dead horse.

it's not like you are the first person to say "The forum is bad now, so people should leave".

LOL.

Here is the link to the post where kiba first offered his signature space for rent - Signature Advertising Auction

I guess that's the thread you're looking for.

Yep, that'd be it--it amazes me that members can pull up a pretty obscure post like that so fast.  If I had to go search for it myself, I wouldn't even know where to begin much less do it with bitcointalk's most excellent search function.  Don't think I could even gooooogle my way to it if I had a gun to my nuts.

OP probably isn't coming back.  This is one of those situations where a moderator really ought to lock this sucker up before more and more posters start giving the same "just put signatures on ignore" advice.  And I'd put money on someone doing it after my post here.

I'm out, there more all og's out! this forum was specified and intended to run for Bitcoin related topics (shit promotions along all days on each op's ad). What makes you think advertising such ponzis for individual personal lost who joins there after the forum trust?

Perhaps you don't even know what Ponzi schemes are. Anyone who attempts to even advertise them in this forum get a red tag immediately. Any other legitimate service is welcome to advertise here. Honestly, what is wrong with advertising a service that uses Bitcoin and other crypto?

You can't be discussing Bitcoin all day without having any successful services applying its use case we keep preaching about. You don't seem like an OG to me. Just some lousy bitter noob.

Honestly speaking, isn't Bitcoin that like a ponzi instead of gambling?

In Bitcoin, more people buy Bitcoin, the more Bitcoin price will increase.

While in gambling, regardless less or a lot people gamble, it doesn't affect anything, the algorithm is same and most people will lose in the long run.

Not all people will make money in Bitcoin though, it's a zero sum game.

The culture of the forum changed drastically shortly after the first person offered up his signature space for rent (and I wish I still had the link to it),

Well I never knew seeing signatures could be considered bad
I don't really have problem with it especially Avatar
It gives the forum a certain unique colour.

I never knew Casinos were ponzi schemes, do enlighten me
Yeah we don't have much, if any campaign on Bitcoin but atleast the discussion still remain true and there are who wear Avatars or Sig not to promote anything or ponzi scheme as you called it.

If you don't want to see signatures or use Adblock, turn off signatures in 'Look and Layout Preferences'.
OP can click here to his profile page for Look and Layout Preferences.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3670732;sa=theme

And tick on two following check boxes to hide user's avatar and signature.
Don't show users' avatars.
Don't show users' signatures.

Signature Adblock Script [0.5.0] to block most annoying signatures.

No forum member with any decent level of respect says stuff like this from an alt, none. This post should be deleted honestly.

The culture of the forum changed drastically shortly after the first person offered up his signature space for rent (and I wish I still had the link to it), so like it or not this is how it is, and it's what keeps traffic high and promotes discussion (for better or worse).  I know how popular bitcoin is, but if you look at the forums of pretty much any altcoin they're dead or dying--or at least, they have nowhere near the level of activity as does bitcointalk, and that's a good thing.

Me?  I've got avatars and signatures on ignore, so I don't see any of them.  It isn't that I hate seeing advertising, it's just that the images make for a lot more scrolling.  Take the suggestion offered to you and do likewise; you'll be a happier impersonator, I promise.

If you don’t want to see signatures displaying, just follow the advice of worldofcoins.... it’s a simple fix.

As for what you mentioned about Ponzi schemes, I don’t see anyone advertising those in their signatures either. Most of the signature campaigns here are gambling-related, like casinos. Could you be more specific and show us at least one example you’ve noticed?
