I don't understand at all why signature campaigns are such a controversial topic. Let those who want to participate, participate, and those who don't want to participate, not participate. Indeed, if you don't want to see signatures, you can do this in the forum profile settings or with an ad blocker. No one is forcing anyone to follow signature links! And even more so, advertising does not mean that a person needs to turn off his own brain and blindly believe and follow everything that this or that project offers.

It's a common phenomenon that when something becomes widespread, it automatically becomes controversial, mainly because those who create controversies about it are the ones who want attention since they know they are going to get that because of the fame the thing has got, which they are creating controversies about.

OP's case seeems to be the same to some extent. He probably had tried getting into a signature campaign himself. Still, he couldn't succeed, so he decided he would get some attention by trying to take the name of Signature campaigns by saying something negative. Even though he failed to get a signature campaign, he did get enough attention from all of us so his tactic actually worked.

OP is a newbie, he couldn't get into a signature campaign a priori. So I don't think his motivation for creating this topic is related to that, unless he's completely unfamiliar with the forum rules. In this topic he may have attracted attention, but it is unlikely to pay off for him in any way, because here the subscribers themselves discuss more than they answer directly to OP.

Come on, we all know that on the internet it's too easy to pretend.

I'd guess that OP is just somebody relatively new who had big hopes to get into campaigns and was constantly rejected because of poor quality posts.

This being said, this topic gets far more attention than it deserves.

Where did you get your Engrish lessons, from a butcher’s shop? Sig camps brought life to this forum. Because of dem camps, people are more eager to share their knowledge and wisdom. Every forum should follow the same principle imo. We content creators ain’t working for free anymoar. We have rights. We demand higher paychecks, better social security and working environments. Sig camp posters’ lives matter. Our union is too lazy to make these demands from the campaign managers but we ain’t goin silent motherfuger.

Trump should work on that issue to. I’ll write a letter to Elon about this. Stay tuned.

I'm out, there more all og's out! this forum was specified and intended to run for Bitcoin related topics (shit promotions along all days on each op's ad). What makes you think advertising such ponzis for individual personal lost who joins there after the forum trust?
if you don't find signature campaigns attractive from your perspective, you ignore service board and altcoin board, in fact anything that has to do with promotion with payment just isolate yourself...don't know you that signature campaigns is among of things that brings traffic in the forum. worldofcoins has said it all just follow his advice.

No forum member with any decent level of respect says stuff like this from an alt, none. This post should be deleted honestly.
no, the post don't need to be delete because he or she made it's own intension to be known, so it's the best time for users of this forum to correct op, so that it will know some important of forum activities and also other people learn from it.

If time is not taken, this account might be alt that applied in the campaigns severally and managers fails to absorbed he or her in signature campaigns.

But I still see some OG still here in the forum, with or without signature.

And there are a lot of good posters as well even with signature in their space. Perhaps those OG who never come back could have become rich already and ventured on other things or become involved in crypto that they don't have the time to log in here.

Before you forget those who are wearing signatures like gambling, if you are real OG, you know that one of the first use case of Bitcoin is gambling per se.

He is probably annoyed that he can't get into one (or the one that he wants) so now he is venting a little bit and looking for attention.
He had his fun with this thread, I guess we will not see the OP again. He will probably go back to using his real account.

I’m confused, honestly speaking I don’t get what the op is trying to pass out except from the fact op mentioned shit promotions, I’m totally speechless because all this sound as an insult personally you should take more advice if only you’ll return back else the first reply suit your mentality. When exactly did individuals start advertising ponzi project? Curious to know of course you can always make a report concerning any project you find offensive rather a scam project but this is not the right way to create a complaint.
The OP seems to have created his John Doe account in order to protect his real account while at the same time to make comments about signature campaigns. His motivating factor is most probably because he was not selected to participate in one.

Nah, if you really wanted to leave the forum, you would do it from your main account, rather than crying and hiding behind the alt.

Your annoyance can be solved by using plugin to remove signature code display.

Ponzi is not allowed to advertise in the forum. I think you are assuming signature campaign in the past is still the same at the present.

Most of the company running campaigns in the forum has licensed to operate especially casino which is 100% legal. Your annoyance can be solved by using plugin to remove signature code display.

This smells as alt though I have no concrete evidence, but since you aren't that comfortable with the space you can as well focused on the areas where code aren't displayed. You can do well at the WO section if you think that would be a problem to you, I believe the #2 poster has already given you a nice suggestions which I think you should follow to assist yourself not to see the signature displayed any longer.

BTW, like I know signature or avatar has helped in keeping the forum more lively as well as increasing the traffic among other forum that talks about Bitcoin in particularly and of course people are still signing up this forum on a regularly basis because there is benefits from this forum.

Why not post with your main account so we know you really mean what you are saying. Signature campaigns are ran for companies that use Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in their operation and participants are also paid through cryptocurrency,  why do you think they are not ideal for a forum like this where it all started? You seems to have forgotten that Bitcoin makes most of those companies able to offer their services to users from all over the globe without restrictions? Well like people already suggested, if you don't want to see signature, turn it off... there are many other things that might interest you in the forum so focus on those.

Why would you create an account just to make a claim that you are out (in other words leaving the forum)? You might have tried to portray an image of a newbie venting his frustration but to be honest I am not satisfied and see this as a facade. You really should have used your regular name to have made that post and then backed it up with actual evidence.

Not sure why you put your birth date in your username, but I don't think anyone would cry much about a 1-post illiterate newbie leaving the forum.

Lol, that's hilarious.  Grin

However, OP isn't a "1-post illiterate newbie" because someone who is either a newbie or an illiterate wouldn't know much about signature campaigns and how they work in the first place. Have you ever heard about the idiom "Sour Grapes"? It seems to be a case like that to me. OP has probably tried his best to reach a rank where he could join a signature campaign. He might have even bought an account but failed to get a slot and gave up. Then he thought of at least taking out his frustration somehow, and he thought of this to be the best way.  Roll Eyes

I'm pretty sure he didn't spend much time on this forum and has never been an honest, constructive community member, even if he pretends to be one.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
My god, your English is atrocious.  Now I've read a lot of posts from the 2010 era, and the vast majority of them were nothing like the crap you wrote here--so hopefully you're not trying to pass yourself off as one of the earliest members, because I'm not buying it.  On top of that, you could have written your post using your original account if you'd cared to, and it wouldn't have made any difference at all.
I suppose, he must be a very good reader to have learnt about the person he's tryna impersonate...What baffles me is why his stupid ass ain't telling him to create a persona with his skills all by himself, but no, he'll rather prefer beating a dead horse.

WTf? ROFL. Savagery!!! The boy lives the rest of his days traumatized by the responses on this thread Id est; if he's not out already.
Edit:

frfr... My guess - he's not been really successful in getting his ass a signature campaign so, he's bittered seeing others enrolling innit. I mean, this would have pulled much weight if he came through with his real account, but for this? He doesn't sound like a newbie to me in anyway.

LOL.

Here is the link to the post where kiba first offered his signature space for rent - Signature Advertising Auction

I guess that's the thread you're looking for.

Yep, that'd be it--it amazes me that members can pull up a pretty obscure post like that so fast.  If I had to go search for it myself, I wouldn't even know where to begin much less do it with bitcointalk's most excellent search function.  Don't think I could even gooooogle my way to it if I had a gun to my nuts.

OP probably isn't coming back.  This is one of those situations where a moderator really ought to lock this sucker up before more and more posters start giving the same "just put signatures on ignore" advice.  And I'd put money on someone doing it after my post here.

Perhaps you don't even know what Ponzi schemes are. Anyone who attempts to even advertise them in this forum get a red tag immediately. Any other legitimate service is welcome to advertise here. Honestly, what is wrong with advertising a service that uses Bitcoin and other crypto?

You can't be discussing Bitcoin all day without having any successful services applying its use case we keep preaching about. You don't seem like an OG to me. Just some lousy bitter noob.
