Do you mean a gold bar (wafer)? No, this is a coin. 
But I could certainly take a hammer to it and eliminate any USA identification. Once the BTC is in my wallet of course.
Regarding counterfeiting, this is a real gold coin and dated 2015. That link seems to be for 2014 coins. I only buy my gold form authorized dealers of the US or Canadian mint. Not from 3rd parties on eBay or Alibaba.

All my auctions will start at 0.01 if they have a reserve or not. It's just how I want to do it.
