Books- If you want to give us a maximum bet, you can post the maximum bet in the NFL or major Soccer market. It would be best if it was broken down into each sport but for now I can just post the maximum allowed. thanks

Because 5Dimes requires personal information it's been very tough for me to determine how heavily that should be weighted. My personal opinion is that we are using bitcoin to be anonymous and for fast transactions. Any opinions on a rating for 5Dimes?

They are a great cash book but not so good for those looking at the advantages of bitcoin books.

Good point Peeps, I totally forgot to take the anonymity factory into consideration. For this reason alone some people will want to stick with BTC books.

The new agent Premiumtradings looks very promising as they offer both Pinny and Betfair. It'd be nice if they picked up 5 Dimes too. Maybe if enough people request it.

Here's a question that was asked over at OGD. Any books want to reply to the props question? It will help us here and I'll also bring it back to OGD.

In regards to the NFL discussion

Approx. lines breaking at different prices.

Nitrogen -105 Pinny clone.
CasinoBitcoin -106
Betcoinsports -106

I'm not sure what Anonibet will do since they are only putting up MLs now

Any 5dimes clones, with props and stuff?

You won't need a 5 Dimes clone soon as they have announced that they're going to be accepting BTC directly!
That's great news. The only downfall I see is getting limited and giving out personal information. They also use teaser protection so 1.5-2.5 and 7.5-8.5 doesn't exist. They make 2.5 a heavy 1.

Are any of you books offering 6 point teasers in the NFL and NCAA football? I think a lot of us like playing teasers.

We offer 6 point teasers and will definitely have props!  Grin Happy betting!

Withdrawing to Coinbase
August 20, 2014Bitcoin, Jenny
There’s been a lot of talk this week about the concerns around withdrawing to Coinbase when you’re using your bitcoins to gamble. A few bettors have received emails like the following from Coinbase:
“Upon review of your Coinbase account, we have determined that we can no longer provide you access to Coinbase Services. Please understand that Coinbase is a regulated Money Service Business under the FinCEN division of the U.S. Treasury Department and as such, we are required to review accounts in order to ensure compliance with regulations.

Gambling is illegal under US law even if you live outside of the US we cannot provide services to your account for the purpose of any type of gambling activity.”

Anonymity and security are always at the top of our minds, so we’d like to take a moment to reassure you that  we don’t use a single address to withdraw your bitcoins from Nitrogen Sports.  Your deposit address can also be changed (up to 5 times a day) if you’d like to ensure that you’re getting a completely brand new deposit address every time.
If you have any concerns about the security of your bitcoin, please don’t ever hesitate to give us a shout! Please submit a support ticket, and one of our amazing support staff would be happy to walk you through how we ensure your anonymity.

How are you guys turning your bitcoins to cash? I'm cutting out Coinbase.

You couldn't pay me to use a US based exchange.

Your best bet is private deals through localbitcoins. If you prefer exchanges, Bitfinex, Justcoin and Hitbtc are all good options (none of these exchanges would even dare to ask you what you are doing with YOUR money).

The balls on Coinbase!
Thanks

Yup - We'll be adjusting as we go, with the nature of live-betting the odds do fluctuate quite a bit though!

FYI - Just an announcement - we are trialing "live betting" with MLB right now!

https://www.casinobitco.in/sportsbook/mlb-live

We will be offering Live Betting in Tennis, NFL, NCAAF and all other major US markets as they get back into play!

That's great. I wish that more books would get into the live betting in bases but you really have to get some better lines than -556/+225.

ctlaltdefeat on Fairlay

I had a very unique experience with this site: Around a week ago, my computer was infected with a trojan that presumably stole all my sessions and cookies. The attacker proceeded to sift through my various online accounts and requested withdrawals to his address on all my bitcoin-related accounts; I had around 2BTC on fairlay. When I noticed this the next day, I immediately sent an email to Fairlay asking not to process the withdrawal. I received an email back stating that the withdrawal would not be sent. Unfortunately, likely through a miscommunication or the like, the withdrawal did go through and the attacker received my 2BTC, I was really devastated. To my surprise however, after I emailed support about this, the owner of the site claimed responsibility for the lack of miscommunication and completely reimbursed me the 2BTC, out of his own pocket. So that should tell you how they treat their customers Smiley
Otherwise, I like the site. In general I like the idea of a bitcoin betting exchange. In addition, the commission is really low (2% on net winnings), and the interface is really clean and user friendly.

Nitrogen also has a 2% commission on their exchange.
