It is just the same with other currency. Dollar is to dollars. Peso is to pesos. Pound is to pounds. And so bitcoin is to bitcoins.
I dont think that it really matters or make differences in the value as its your wish that you call 10 bitcoin or btc or 10 bitcoins . Their is no differences in speaking different only value matters.

No, it is not correct, it is only you who are using like that, while all other people are using s for more dollars, and the same will be used for bitcoin also, so do not forget 's' for the next time.
for each thing which we when call in multiple then we call its plural name, so in bitcoin case we have use the same gramatical rule also, and we have to call 1 BTC as 1 bitcoin and have to call 10 BTC as 10 bitcoins.

you say 10 dollar bill. but you say i spent 10 dollars

It is my understanding that you would say "gimme 10 dollars" or "I owe him 10 dollars" or "this item costs 10 dollars"... but that you have to say "a 10 dollar banknote" or "a 10 dollar amount is what he got out of it" or "I'm browsing for a 10 dollar item".

In this context, the OP would say "I have 10 bitcoins".
But if the OP had a 10 btc Casascius coin, they would say "I have a 10 bitcoin Casascius coin".
Overall, I think "10 bitcoins" would be the correct grammar, majority of the time.
Yeah if you hold more then one coin then you need to add that extra 's' to it and that would be the correct term to define 10 bitcoin's'.

I was a little confused about this either. I thought currency doesn't need to be added by "s".
That is not really matter whether you use 10 bitcoin or 10 bitcoins. currency terms are not created equal. there are communities who do not use plural forms for money terms.
BTC, bitcoins or bitcoin... It really doesn't matter. I personally use BTC or bitcoins. Just make sure that you use the points "." in the value correctly, and you're all good. People would definitely understand you.

Even with fiat, I sometimes use the term Euro or Euros, granted, I probably use EURO more than I use Euros because it just sounds better.

I think the plural is not really helpful as it is for fiat currencies. Unlike fiat, BTC is infinitely (well, to 8 d.p. in Core's current implementation, but I believe this is alterable) divisible, and thus when quoting decimal places it might feel nicer to use the singular form.

Weird question never thought about it before,anyway i use 10 bitcoins but im not sure if it is correct or not,but what about satoshis?is it 10 satoshi or 10 satoshis?

Not some, most of the currencies are described in the same way as you told above. Like Indian currency is Rupee and it's smaller unit is paise. Paise are always paise no matter what the amount is but Rupee is used as both 1 Rupee and 100 Rupees. No matter it said 10 bitcoin or 10 bitcoins, the truth is the value, "10". But I prefer to 10 bitcoins or I usually say 10 BTC 
I used to say Bitcoin as well and always thought Bitcoins sounded somewhat a little weird but these days Bitcoins is used in the news and in the majority of articles. I tried it a few times and wrote Bitcoins instead of Bitcoin and it actually doesn't feel so bad and I've been using it more and more 
Grammatically 10 bitcoins is correct, however there's nothing wrong if one says 10 bitcoin cause he's actually indicating how much bitcoin he's talking about. So both are correct.
my mother language is PASHTO. our national language is URDU and optional language is urdu. we have a lot of grematical mistake. i cannot say any think about this. i usually use 10 bitcoins.
Seen a lot of different ways of saying 10 btc, I personally say 10 bitcoin. My grammar has recently been question though, by the titanium BTCC coins. They say 10 bitcoins :-/
I think the meaning is the same, but in my opinion still Bitcoin not Bitcoins. But if you write this on google trasnslate i think will be bitcoins

Maybe we can standardize the way bitcoin balances are expressed. For me, I will use 10 BTC, 10mBTC or 10 bits, and not 10 bitcoin(s) etc.
