I will invest in tokens because the returns on investment are higher.
However, digging mines takes longer to wait, so the return on investment in this period is even higher.

In last summer and spring mining was extra profitable but also mining machines were expensive. Now the situation changed and mining get you less profit, and it cost cheap also now.
But no matter how much mining costs, I prefer to buy coins with a good project in the beginning of their path!!  Smiley Smiley

If i had that much amount i would have purchased top 5 or 10 with 50% of fund, new quality coins with high potential with 25% of the funds and invest the remaining in quality icos, i think this is the best strategy to profit from crypto market.

Hi guys,

Let's say you have 100 000$ CAD to invest in cryptocurrency, would you invest in mining operations or buying coins?

You can get a very cool mining farm and start mining. The rest of the money can be invested in the most promising coins. I am not talking about Bitcoin only. Pay attention to Stellar, OmiseGO, NEO, IOTA.

Its lot of money and investing into the mining operation is really thoughtful according to me. However to minimise the risk of getting lost you must divide the money into mining operation as well as portfolio creation. That would be ideal investment.

You can set up optimum level mining hardwares with that and gain most of the profits with your good amount of hash rate.

Now when it comes to putting another half investment into coins, then you should really try out ETH, BTC. They will optimise your investment further!  Tongue

If I had that much to invest I would put it on Faceter!! Facial recognition video survallence on the blockchain. Faceter is already working with businesses and will be used with Apple TV from the end of the year. Please have a look at the white paper: https://tokensale.faceter.io/en/

100k$ if huge amount, if I had that I would invest it in mining operation, because after a year your investment in a mining equipment may returned and the rest will be your profit for a long run, as long as you have that mining equipment, you can earn a passive income per month, unlike of buying an altcoins that has no guarantee to raise with in a couple of year. the risk is, if you choose a wrong coin, how will you bring back your initial investment if your coins are in deeply drop?

Mining is no longer relevant, soon there will be no POW algorithm at all, all projects will switch to POS. It is better to invest this money in different ICO or to buy coins from the top-20.

I will be a long time holder, don't even know yet how to sell on exchange.

Right now I'm mining ETH, Monero, RavenCoin and ZClassic. And I still plan to mine Equihash, Ethash and Cryptonight V7, X16R too if possible but I prefer mining ETH and Monero if I build more rigs.
a lot of your mining machine, now surely you have a lot of money from mining. my advice, use the capital you have for the trade to make more profit. my observations in mine when prices fall, the results are few. because in use to pay for mine machine electricity.

Hi guys,

Medium-scale mining is some-what profitable now with currencies such as Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. But at the same time, you need to keep some of the important things in mind. The next block reward halving is supposed to occur in less than two years. If the exchange rates remain the same, then the profits may decline.

It depends on the price of electricity. If he is very, very low, then into mining. If you do not get cheap electricity, then buying coins is always better.
That's what my friends say and they've been in the bitcoin world longer than me.

Investing in mining is the safest option.  But I would have divided the investment between mining and buying coins.

I think the best option is to split the investment between btc, eth and neo.  (30% / 50% 20%) I think this is the safest option.

If it is me, I will use this money to buy coins instead of investing in the mining industry.
After all, because the market for cryptocurrencies has fluctuate too much, it is difficult for miners to sell them once the market is not good, but coins can be sold at any time.

I would buy nothing but Bitcoin and Ethereum for 100k USD. I don't trust any other coin for that kind of money.
If you make a portfolio don't put more than %30 to other altcoins. Stick to Bitcoin and Ethereum mostly.
