Well, don't know if it is really gonna happen or not, but why not give it a try?
So here is my address: 3JyCS37NHSBKgwkf3Uj8RiiphSWRWRdJWJ
And it would be even better if you give smaller prizes to many people, like 1 or 2 btc to each Smiley that would be a better idea for many of us.

The fact that this is from the bitfinex hacker (supposedly) is probably not going to have a good effect on your karma if you win. I'll try anyways.

I'll bite, goodness knows I've given many coins away, first to Gox now to Bitfinex.

Bitcoin FTW!
Lots of stupid people on bitcointalk I see. Within a few days Bitcointalk is gonna be hit with subpoenas and everyone who accepted coins is going to legally exposed.
If it's proven that the coins were in fact hacked and OP really gives them then whoever wins should give them back to the rightful owner.
We could try tracing the transaction if it hasn't already gone through a mixer, but it probably has, and whoever wins will probably be an alt account and will spend it of his/her own accord You can't really control this kind of stuff, you can only hope. I'll return the coins if I actually win, though, which is probably not going to happen. Funny thing is, the first few letters of the address is BFXSux; pretty sure this is actually from bitfinex or some other exchange, but i'm sure it's actually BFX.

Here's what I'm guessing is happening. The person who hacked bitfinex is now trying to launder the money. Here's how.
Declare a "giveaway" where you give 1000 bitcoin to some "random" person who posts there address on several different bitcoin forums.
Post an address yourself to one of the forums.
Wait a week, and give the money to the address you posted.
Claim the money wasn't illegally gotten, but from this giveaway.

nice info mate  Grin

Am i the only one that understood this as a 1 btc to 1000 users ?!

Imagine people reading in newspapers and tv that some guy gave away 550$ to 1000 people each. That would be insane

It says: "one lucky winner will receive 1000 BTC"
