Its unlikely someone would send 10k BTC to dump it for tether, I think 10k BTC transactions and more go mainly trough OTC channels. I doubt this is for a dump. Plus all the big players are on exchanges like Bitstamp, Bitmex and Bitfinex.

in my opinion,at best it will only suppressing the price for a few weeks and it will start to make another movement again in the future.

in case you missed it, there is no USD market on either exchange. there is a tether market which looks similar to USD market. and that doesn't affect bitcoin price as much as advertised.

I don't know exact address but I have same info about it. As you know it has some btc address that have huge coin count. And watching for those give such information.
In all market cap it's too small but for speculations and market interventions it's enough

in case you missed it, there is no USD market on either exchange. there is a tether market which looks similar to USD market. and that doesn't affect bitcoin price as much as advertised.

I do, Remember there is a lot of questions regarding it. Even 66k bitcoin dump from mtgox was making the price of bitcoin jump from 10 to the 8k. If you are thinking that was a small portion but that's enough to drive the price of the market down and give a lot of impact to the psychology of every people in the market as fast as possible.

That can easily make the market turn into the panic trend.

10000 BTC coin is big but it can not move the market so much. You need at least 10 times btc to be able to move as you like.

I do not believe unless he gives tx or proof of transactions with links.
I know the volume of trading in bittrex decreases, maybe this is a strategy to increase their trading volume.

This is not informative, why didn't you provide the transaction link. It is possible this is not from one holder but this is a whale. I can't say because it is not in a single day transaction. I think there are some positivity in the space now that is strong enough to hold the support for BTC for now

You just need to trace the btc master of the two floors above, the number of btc transactions on their cmc, all the previous times is also taken from the statistics from that and the price, this time 10k btc

but, if somebody doing this actions, it will affected the markets in short time and just for a while, not for long term
i know in this current price 10K bitcoin is very large amount, but if we compared with all btc in circulating 10K is not that huge Wink

I thought that 10k bitcoin was spread out over the altcoins. So the price of bitcoin has gone down quite a lot, from 7k7 has dropped to 6k5.
As far as I know, the bitcoin number has been used for investing in altcoin. Some anonymous altcoin are being pump at very high prices. This is a rather difficult strategy for whales. Have they anticipated that bitcoin will recover strongly in the future? Undecided
