Funny thing about newegg reviews. 1 of the 1 stars was from a guy who didn't even have the psu.

I got 2 of them.

To be more specific, there are 29 reviews for this on Newegg of which 3 are 1 star ratings and 1 is a 2 star.  The other 25 ratings or 86% of the ratings are 4star and above.

And as mentioned in my other post, 1 of the 1 star ratings was from a guy who didn't even buy this psu.  He simply had a bad experience w\ another similar psu and chose to post a worthless flame review on this item.  Another of the 1 stars was a DOA claim where the guy claimed it fried his motherboard... while scary, it would be more scary if it wasn't just 1 guy saying this.

Stay far away... read the reviews.

My advice on PSU's: If its not Enermax or Corsair don't buy it. Always remember a bad PSU can destroy your entire computer.

The reviews on newegg are so misleading most the time. Most of the 1 egg reviews are because the item was DOA, which the review system specifically says not to do when submitting a review. Also, the distribution of reviews is heavily skewed to 5/5 or 1/5, since the education system makes people think 2.5/5 is not average but failing.

Add Fortron to that list.
