I have no idea how I could accept payment in bitcoin if the price goes up and down by $200 in a few minutes :-)

no problem you will be good on long run anyway
Not really. If prices are screaming up then any price I put on a service will be obsolete instantly=no sales
If prices scream down I'm doing work for free=no profit.

This is not a way to run a railroad. :-)

Would totally love to retire with a 5000$ price for BTC. Two main reasons I feel

China has a voracious appetite
The amount of money that has gone into hardware, and more is still going in.

.......on a side note, @buysellbitco.in...someone from a place called Kollam, in Kerala and asked me about buying bitcoins and I directed them to your site. Hope you get your stock up soon.

cheers to 5000..

In my view 2000$ a coin will take some time.
The value of bitcoin needs to be stabilized so that it can be used as currency.
1000$ mark is both for profit & stability.

Cant agree more.

If you are looking at getting back your value immediately, the only way to accept Bitcoin would be through a processor. As soon as the BTC is received, the processor converts it at current rates and provides INR in bank account.

The other option would be to hold the BTC till the prices become favorable.

Exactly! This is where the entity of the bitcoin itself become quite ambiguous. Is it a currency or a commodity?
Nevertheless, this day goes into the book of Bitcoin history, no doubt.
