Having connectivity issues here too with eu server.......troubles?

mint, eu1, us1, it's all the same at the moment.

Some miners are still on the old server though, probably because of misbehaving network equipment or software not respecting DNS TTL settings.

I am pretty much able to sign on more often then not. some times I hang up.   but frankly the pool has been under a lot of attacks I am getting tired of it. My bfl gear is still on order and my gpus are hot and not making much money. looks like end of mining is very soon for me.

really bad luck even on nmc long times seems like a new problem of some type.   6 plus hours for a name coin is very long.

Pool down again. Nothing mining at least from what the front page says.

Never mind, you were right. There was a reason the stats fell out. Seems to have cleared up almost right away, though.

Just saw that in one of my miners:

Everything is up.

It's just a little touchy, sometimes it shows zero if there are network timeouts while trying to retrieve live stats from the mining server. This will be improved as I rewrite the software controlling how the servers communicate with each other (current top priority).

If the live stats aren't working but mining is working, it is still safe to mine. And you should still see accepted proofs of work ticking up if you load the workers list, wait a minute, then refresh.

Use google

Do you mean me??

-> I'm not able to log in to bitminter website at all because my openid auth doesn't work anymore.
creating another account (anywhere) doesn't help, since I can't activate this account on bitminter.com

If your OpenID identity provider's website is overloaded and responding slowly there may be timeouts when trying to log in.

If you see this often then you may want to add another OpenID identity. You can do this on the BitMinter website under "my account" -> "logins" in the menu.

Still not able to log in and therefore not able to change to another OpenID :-/

what is the difficulty exactl..for example its currently at 19.3 million...what does this mean.
how can i tell how much of a bitcoin i have personnaly mined.  i can see my btc accepted but where does that translate in bitcoins?
also should i have more than 1 worker...what difference does this make?
thanks for any help?
You purchased a miner without understanding what 'difficulty' is? Sigh. Reading through some of the wiki articles would be a start: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining

Basically difficulty and earnings are inversely proportional. Difficulty is directly related to how quickly blocks are found. If difficulty doubles, your earnings are cut in half. At any given point in time, the current difficulty represents what is required for the entire bitcoin network to mine approximately 1 block every 10 minutes. As more miners join the network, blocks are found more quickly and that causes difficulty to go up to compensate.

At the beginning of 2013, difficulty was 3 million. Now it is 20 million. Some believe that by the end of the year it will be 200 million (at which point, of course, your miner will be earning 1/10th of what it is now).

To see how much you have personally mined, log in to the bitminter website, click on the My Account button, and you will see a table with numbers: Balance (how much of your earnings are available for withdrawal), Unconfirmed (how much you have 'in the queue', that hasn't yet confirmed), Future (the sum of the previous two), and Expected Per Block (how much you will earn if the pool finds a block). When the pool finds a block, you get a portion of the earnings which shows up under your 'Unconfirmed' column. However, before you can withdraw it, you need to wait 120 blocks (around 20 hours) for it to confirm.

Whether you have 1 worker or multiple doesn't matter. Some people like to manage their physical GPUs/FPGAs/ASICs/PCs separately so they assign each with its own worker. Others just use a single worker. There is no particular advantage to either.

16.06Gbps DDoS attack.

Let's see what Black Lotus can do.

Doc,
Are attacks coming from same ip's Network. If yes just fuck um and filter them from core routers if possible. Some miners will not able to mine probably but you will keep the pool. Are the attacks coming from well known place? 16.06Gbps seems pretty high and is hard to make it happen from random Ip's changing on each attack
