What are you guys doing with your NMC that you get? I don't even have a wallet
I don't have a wallet either.  I created an account at Vircurex (shameless referral included) Smiley and generated a deposit address there.  I send my NMC to that deposit address and trade them for BTC.

gracias. Does that address stay the same when you generate it on vircuex or do you have to worry about changing nmc address in bitminter before every withdrawl?

Don't worry, there are some things you get used to with time. 6.5M shares is nothing special.

I think the large 10Ghash+ people should donate the most, spread the wealth around. as they're getting the most benefit from the service if its stable, etc

Smiley haha

I donate 3% BTC and 10% NMC

Sure, it's just recorded as a manual donation instead of an automatic donation in your transaction history.

Anonymous donations can be sent to 15SSRJdHfhjcRU7woXR9sYKPUXNS4ScaaB

Doc, when a member sends you a one-time donation in addition to the 1% or whatever, are you able to tell which user sent it?

Thanks for donating, guys. I really appreciate it.

Current average donation levels are 1% BTC and 6% NMC.

This pool with all its software is quite an undertaking for one man to create, and I'll probably never get minimum wage for it. So I can certainly understand pools needing a small fee.

That said, things are going the right way. BitMinter is growing by leaps and bounds at the moment. Hopefully it keeps growing. Also there are more donation perks and other features coming.

It will be interesting to see how the change to 3% fee will be received at OzCoin. Some people even call me greedy even though I run a zero fee pool (because I don't release all the software as open source). But I agree, bills have to be paid, and after that there should still be something left to reward hard work. I think if OzCoin is your favorite pool and you like their work, 3% is not the end of the world. But I would have to ask if you have tried BitMinter. Cheesy

lol
and the small hashers are the ones that usually take the most support
ppl over 10Ghash generally have it sorted and are low maintainance.

They also tend to have well setup systems that operate at high efficiency.  I'd bet the average 5 GH/s+ miners put less load on the server than an average 1 GH/s user Smiley.

All of this is true.  Plus we big dogs have usually been contributing for a year or more.  I'm the only three digit Guild member still in the top 25; eleuthria should give me a discount or something  Cheesy
