I have downloaded more than first 2000+ (provably 2300) project's logo according to coinmarketcap and make this. And inserted my drawing dot skatch of satoshi nakamoto's into it.

I've never heard such nonsense in all my life.

It’s because your mind is too narrow, but well it’s your opinion, we respect it.

Leaving it here:
Lots of this is online-tool garbage; there's only a couple of good images. Good contest though.

I'm not against on using online tools but it seems quite unfair to us who use the old way of making art, efforts done on these thing are quite really have a big difference but on that image its like fooling everyone's eyes.

I certainly agree to Foxpup,...

Agree, but if for example he built the “filter” himself for me it’s art.
Creating a tool doesn't make you an artist.

We personally consider it as unique artwork.
Actual artists (especially the artists who created the original works you're using) would disagree.

We don’t pretend to be the artist, the computer is the artist we aren’t.
I believe you don’t really get the way artificial intelligence works.

Art needs technique, but technique isn’t very important, their is plenty very good technician who are bad artist. In our collective we have very good technician who handpaint DeepBlack’s creations, however they consider themselves as good technician.

Most of all, art needs something coming from somewhere we don’t know, that we can’t understand.

Great artist don’t think, it comes from somewhere, like if their hand moves by itself. They aren’t like, “i’ll will add a bit of black here it will look better” that only produce crap arts.
Plenty famous artist confirm this behavior, some say it’s the universe, god, the spirit, the soul... whatever  you call it, let’s say inspiration.

AI can learn the technique buy looking at thousands of various pieces of art. It will never copy it, it will understand the pattern of each of them. That’s the technique bit.
Then the inspiration bit is the random generation, why the computer decided to create this piece, we will never know, and that’s what make it super cool. Look at this one, it’s 100% original, you’ll never find something similar in the past, why DeepBlack made it, and where he got the inspiration no one know.

BitAIrt,

The world first AI artist on the blockchain.

as said Einstein:

The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science.

Ans we completly agree with him, and for us AI is true art, probably even better, because it’s without any filters, and coming from something that we can’t understand.

I'm calling BS on this:
and ran some digital effects on it to make it look like a charcoal drawing.  Hell, my phone's camera app will do it.  I'm finding it hard to believe that the same person who drew such life-like eyes did such a shitty job on the bitcoin ring.  Sorry, not buying it.

I forgot to tell that I've used that as a reference photo. Sorry Cheesy

This is the work in progress of this artwork. Furthermore, I did not focus on making the bitcoin ring realistic as it will drove away the attention of the audience on the portrait itself. Thank you for pinpointing it out.

We do lot of digital art,
we confirm for us it’s digital, not handmade.
This is not an issue, as digital art is art.
As someone who does actual (handmade) digital art, I can confirm that running an existing artwork or photograph through a filter doesn't qualify as art, and would also go as far to say that it's just poorly-disguised plagiarism unless you actually created the original piece on which it's based.

(In an unrelated note, my contest entry (which I spent a non-trivial amount of time and effort on) is near completion, and will probably be submitted within the next day or two.)

For example, DeepBlack our artificial intelligence, is able to create artwork from scratch, or to copy the style of existing artwork and apply it to other elements. We built it, we trained it, and in the end what is done is “decided” by the artist (a computer in this case).

We personally consider it as unique artwork.

Impatient to see your creation.

Continuation of project posted earlier in thread.
Kinda bummed about that tool mark on the right side of inner circle. That's where the tool plunged at the start of circular cuts.
Anyway, I wrote something around outside. First to identify what it is gets 3 merits! (must be specific)

Try ramping into the cut, start at Z 0.0, then add your Z depth to a quarter arc G2 (or G3) code line.

The thing looks gorgeous anyway, I never did mind tooling marks when they don't get in the way of function.  Industrial art, baby!

Indeed. Great suggestion. I didn't bother to fine tune the lead in/lead out cut parameters. Never occured to me for engraving.
Yeah, will adjust cut file to do exactly that if/when I make another one or cut the other side. Thanx

Hi,

My tribute to bitcointalk.org is a similar logo that I created for my own website:

I hope that it is a good contribution.
