What a strange address! I've never saw something similar before. But is it workinig, can you send and receive the coins without a problem?
I would alse like tow know could Bitcoin addresses be created on special orders and wishes like car plates for instance or is this impossible?

A) RTFT

B) Learn to use the search function.  Search for "vanity address"  or "vanity Bitcoin address"

No.

Would it be possible to have an address that's only 1's? like 1111111111111111111111111111?
No.

If you are interested in long vanity addresses created from a private key see:

Yeah I wasn't sure how long 5.290055e+025y was so I just said 1000 LOL
That's not even slightly off. It's off by the same order of magnitude as saying "I wasn't sure how old the universe was so I just said 10 microseconds LOL." Humans don't understand large numbers.

EDIT: Typo.

Idk, 1000 years isn't a bad estimate when you take into account progress of technology. amirite??  Cheesy

Just wanted to see how long it would take to generate 18 1's with vanity gen and it was like 1000 years

Apparently it is pretty easy to create a vanity bitcoin address, but creating one and also having its private key is a different matter.  Wink

what a waste of bitcoins, although it just makes my bitcoin worth more lol Smiley

Anyway vanity addresses are not a good idea imo. You want your addresses to look as boring as possible, you don't want easily recognizable addresses because that can only lower your privacy in any case.

I have seen addresses with names , short names though, I wanted to know how can we generate BTC addy with our names maybe?
Vanitygen, you can get address with your name like 1ImHash, 1ImHaSh, and so on with your PC but it's difficult to generate the vanity addresses, you can use bitcoin vanity generator website like vante.me to generate, but it's very risk i don't recommended. Yea, you know what would suck? If a major charity organization launch a campaign for say, Cancer and they type the donation address incorrectly in a advertisement or on their webpage and then millions of dollars goes into the wrong address, before they notice it.

We see human errors every day with data capturing or typing, so it is not impossible that this might happen in the future.

Addresses have a checksum mechanism built-in, so this is not really a possibility. Try sending to 1111111111111111111114oLvT3 (instead of …2) and see for yourself. Only one in 4 billion typos results in a technically-correct-yet-wrong address.

rip160hash->address Wink

Yeah, its probably easier that way as you dont have to force the hashes.

But nevertheless this requires a big enough GPU power and a lot of time.

Just wanted to see how long it would take to generate 18 1's with vanity gen and it was like 1000 years

You are slightly off...

Code:
>oclvanitygen.exe 111111111111111111
Difficulty: 87112285931760247855549719117161853616128
[36.19 Mkey/s][total 354418688][Prob 0.0%][50% in 5.290055e+025y]

Usually you create an address like this:

private key -> public key -> hash -> address.

Here someone just did:

public key -> hash -> address. Whoever created the address like this can never spend the funds send there, because they dont have the private key.

I love this place , some one is really bitcoiner

but to correct it

publick key->hash->address  is costly, not easy than  private key->publick key->hash->address

I made it

rip160hash->address Wink
