Bitcoin is at 9k$ at this point of time and I am waiting for the price to go back to 20k$ before I will sell my coins. Though I am selling some of my coins but only if I need some cash for an urgent need and necessities for the family. But I have been saving my bitcoin so that when the value will go skyrocket I can gain a huge profit. Though it will take some time but I believe that my patience will be fruitful when the time comes.

For turning trade profit its probably a great time to sell.
However for all cryptos 2018 will be huge. Wouldn't surprise me bitcoin reaching 50k in 2018.

Now BTC is under $10,000!

BTC is now hard to reach $20,000!

BTC may be hard to reach $5W this year!

Unless many countries in the world recognize that bitcoin is legal! Otherwise it's hard to achieve!

I'm waiting for it to go to $15k and I'm good. Currently, we are going through a see-saw trend so I'm holding indefinitely. Hopefully it picks up sometime soon.

I personally would not sell Bitcoin at a low price. I will be eagerly waiting for the Bitcoin price to go up and match what I expect. I will not stop halfway to fight for everything I've been through. I am sure the price of Bitcoin will rise higher.

IT WILL AGAIN MOVE TO 6000$ MAKING DOUBLE BOTTOM AND THEN WILL RISE AGAIN.
The market value of the bitcoin is getting better but still it is not that much good that you should go for selling of your bitcoins. The market value of the bitcoin has just started recovering and that you can get much better profit in the coming days if you keep on holding your bitcoins for some longer period. you need to remain patient so that you can finish it off in the best possible manner.
Better time for selling is when prices for coins that you have invested in have bypassed the buying amount that you have given for such coin. Whenever this situation comes, you are good to sell. But when deep analysis would be made over whether to sell or not, there are some more patience moments and wait until prices reach their extreme possible value, sell then and earn huge profits.

Now I want to hold my bitcoins....

I think its not good to sell bitcoin at this price and again buy when its really goes very down. Because what if the price didn't go down after this. Then we all have to bear a huge loss as most of us buy it at higher price.
I think holding is a good even for a long time.

When it gets to about 12k I will sell  off some of my profits but I will just wait for the market to dip again so I can buy back into the market with those profits and increase my portfolio. No matter how high the price gets though there is always a percentage of my coins which I am holding and it is never less than 50 percent of my entire portfolio at any given time.

Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!
If you are satisfied at this point and have earned good profits then you can sell at this moment because if you wait for too longer period then you might witness a dip at that time and you might regret not seeking now. So you can buy at the dip or you can sell 50% of your total coins now and hodl rest and buy again at downfall which will bring more profits. This is best policy followed by many traders but you can make changes accusing to you.

At $12k, I will sell 50% of my deposit, which would be cheaper to buy back. But the remaining 50% hodl.
Now the trading schedule bitcoin looks like a schedule for 2014. I think we will follow the same scenario.

Hold your coins. That's the best thing to do right now. Just go with the flow of Bitcoin, don't worry it won't bubble pop as "experts" are saying. Investmenting could also provide to be beneficial if done properly.

as long as there's a profit when you're about to sell your btc holdings then it's fine Smiley
remember that a profit is a profit
so i guess if you buy bitcoin for example for 11k$ and you sold it to 12k$ then you got 1k USD profit
what i mean is if you bought it in its dip days then that's nice, if you bought it in its stagnant price then it's nice also as long as bitcoin has still this
potential to go up

It seems we should have sold at 20k and buy back when it was 6k. But it is very easy to say when it already happened.

I am still holding and will continue to hold.

I will sell when it costs about $ 10k. Although i suffered a loss of about $ 4k, but i'll not sell completely. Because i'll keep at least 70% to wait for the price to jump back. So i didn't experience much loss or at least get back to my fund at the beginning.

Sure, selling it now will minimize losses. It's just my advice don't sell completely, because maybe you will be disappointed when the price back soaring high. Of course i strongly agree, because the correction of future prices can make us more spirited for investment. As long as it is clear the bitcoin correction will be the trend back as soon as possible after it happens.

I am not against selling now, whenever one got hefty sum of profit is the right time to sell. Don't get caught up with your greed because if you hold for too long, then you would have to hold it for another long period of time. Do not hesitate to sell if there is a hefty sum of profit already. Just always remember to rebuy bitcoin whenever it corrects or dumps. If you have not profit big yet, then better hold that until the goal profit is reached.

About selling in a low price maybe it was not good idea for me, Must better to buy a coins that has a cheaper price that to buy in a high price. And that's true must better to hold more if we need to earn some profit.

when the price goes back to $ 11k it seems that the price is still very cheap, I prefer to sell when the price goes back to $ 20k or if the chances are more then I will hold it and wait for the right moment to sell it.

This is a coin that can not be sold soon after working. It will work to keep the BTC and these coins can be sold during your time of need or investment time. When these coins are well marketed and long lasting, it is best to sell at that time. Then its value is good.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

Well i am not looking to sell my all bitcoins.Yes its true the price is increase but i don't want to be greedy. Instead of selling all my coins i like to sell some of it or whenever i want some money like in emergency cases. I can sell my all coins but i don't to be regret in future. So its better to hold it and sell some amounts only in need basis and save the rest.

Making this decision of selling your bitcoins is your personal decision but the point is you need not to sell your bitcoins at time when the market value is not that much good enough that it can help you in having some greater profit and that of which you later regret in your life. It is not a very good idea to sell your coins right now. In fact, you need to hold them for more period for greater profit.
You should not just hold your bitcoin and you should find some ways in order to grow your bitcoin and still grow the value of your bitcoin even the price of bitcoin is dumping or falling down. Try to do trading because that is a good way to practice how to invest your bitcoin into some profitable coins in the market like ethereum, litecoin and many more.
