kind of makes me think about all that reddit spam i was getting regarding eth.. wish i had read it now.. kinda Smiley

I thought about that spam too!  Does anyone have a copy?  It would be a good read right now.

Wow...that really says something. It's almost like '11 and '12, when Bitcoin evangelists were 'spamming' Bitcoin all over the Internet.

Looks like Ethereum has got the critical mass of evangelizers that Nxt, Monero and Bitshares lack. I wonder how they pulled it off?

There actually is a fixed supply. Once the change over to pos the inflation rate will be more less 0.

Ethereum is not the same as bitcoin. Ether is the oil to run the engine.

I don't understand why so much money is flowing into Ethereum. Given that Ethereum is inflationary, and therefore has no fixed supply - it seems like a terrible long term investment. Can someone please explain why so much money is getting pumped into it right now?

sorry still don't get it.
A billion dolla coin and I have not seen nor found a straight forward answer to how it is mined and how many coins will be mined.

just the straight facts on block rewards schedule like every other coin.
a nice production graphic would help, most coins x1000 smaller than ETH have those too.
Go on GitHub read and download the code and start mining yourself. It's not rocket surgery.

not a good comparison cuz supplies are different. more comparable to when bitcoin market cap was 1B. bitcoin woulda been about $100 then cuz there were only like 10M coins back then. so.. a good price but certainly not dirt cheap

they were all saying the same thing with different words. claiming that bitcoin is dead, doomed and doesn't have any developer team and at the same time saying ETH is the future replacement.

practically the same thing you can see here too, but that spam was both as reddit posts and PMs to reddit bitcoin users.

So is it correct to say Ether disappears since it is like oil?
People use it to deploy and use Dapps right?
And that way the Ether will disappear forever? or what happens to that used oil??
And there will be a fixed supply of 100 Million Ether if I am correct.

$12.90 makes Ethereum a billion dollar market cap.

When it hits 1 billion, normal medial will pick it up. I think no other concurrency than bitcoin has ever reached 1 billion cap. This would be a pretty huge deal imo.

IIRC LTC did for a short time when BTC was booming

That was a different time.  More idiots and noobs in the market at that time.  People are smarter now so we are seeing the rise of ethereum and the death of shitcoins

lol etherum has got to be the most overhyped shitcoin of all time, once the hype dies down then ethers true colours will emerge
YEAH!  Real men use Bitcoin!  We'r tough and know how to trade and ... PSSSST... .... and..  What? I am talking here.  Why are you interupting me?  PSST PSSST PSSSSSTTT.  It did WHAT?   Bitcoin is at what Price?  Dropping Fast?  WTF!?!?!

Sorry.... gotta run!  disregard my previous statement!  I've gotta go sell all my Bitcoin while I still any real value left in it!

hehehe - nice try bitcoin shills.  enjoy the ride down!  I hear it's a real scary one!

Too funny. And soooo ironic now. Been quiet.....chirp chirp.

Remember when LTC was $40? Learn from that... the biggest problem for Ethereum is that is not user friendly, look like rocket science to a newbie... just make sure you don't lose your money folks.

Litecoin's a scam. What a useless boring coin!

Only going down! LTC will never even be $5 again, let alone $10, LOL!

Do not forget that there are constantly created new Eth. So the price is getting smaller to reach 1 bln for every new created ETH.

$12.90 makes Ethereum a billion dollar market cap.
