Please stop making private message offers especially undershooting my minimum price: these shares are undervalued at 1.1 BTC based on what you can get selling them on btct.co (even with the 0.5BTC transfer fee).

This isn't even considering the possibility of a rally following friedcat's latest update or the increase in ASICMINER hashrate.

friedcat just announced that ASICMINER is targeting 15TH or more next week. This is 2x the hashpower used to get the last dividends. Get these shares quick to reap the higher dividends!

Less than a day left (2013-04-26 17:11:02 UTC based on forum's time) before each bid must be done 8 hours after the last one.

If no bid is made, I'll probably sell them on a trading platform but there are already 1.1BTC bids in another thread, so I'm hopeful: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1942383

Selling the actual shares here on the forum is a little more difficult then the PTs though as we see.  If there was a real exchange coming then things might be different.

I am interested of course, and might take them for 1 btc each.

At this price I'd better create an account on btct.co, transfer the 15 shares there and sell them... 1.1BTC is a minimum for me (I want to sell at least 16BTC in the next weeks and avoid owning any pass-through myself).

The last trade on BTC-TC for ASICMINER passthroughs is 1.3198 at the time I write this.

https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT

The other passthrough I know of, Bitfunder with much less activity (30 shares traded last 24 hours instead of 208 at the time I write this post), is at 1.0960 :

https://bitfunder.com/asset/G.ASICMINER-PT

Remember that these are passthroughs where dividends are delayed and received on your trading account instead of received directly in one of your personnal wallets (like it's done with real shares sold here). For a passthrough to be sustainable its manager needs to get some income, you should expect some fees with them too.

In most cases additional risks and costs make passthroughs less valuable than real shares.

Note for people willing to use escrow: if I'm not mistaken John the Dong changed his name to John K on the forum recently.

Before anyone bids: a minimum of 5 shares isn't accurate enough. People bidding for 11 shares would make it awkward for everyone...

Bids must be for 5, 10 or 15 shares to make sure that all shares can be won.

I own 75 ASICminer shares and I'm putting 15 of them to the highest bidder in this auction.

Conditions :
  • there are 15 shares to sell,
  • bids are for a minimum of 5 shares,
  • initial price: 1.10 BTC for each share,
  • the minimum bid increment is 0.01,
  • auction ends 2 days from now at the earliest, 8 hours after the last bid and 4 days from now at the latest (the forum timestamps from this post and the bids are used to check a bid's validity).
The last rule is a compromise to allow people from different timezones to get some sleep not constantly worrying about being outbid in their sleep and avoid long-running bids at the same time.
It should allow the transfer to take place before the next dividend payment. If not for each share sold I'll transfer all dividends paid after this post to the winner(s) (minus a 0.0005 BTC fee for each payment).

Format of bid is @: [email protected] would be the lowest possible bid to purchase all shares for a total of 16.5 BTC.

I'll report the result of the auction as soon as it ends (and I'm available, which should be in the next 8 hours if I'm sleeping or working on something...), post payment addresses for each winner to use for my payment in this thread and ask them to post in this thread an address in their control friedcat can pay dividends to (so as to make the transaction fully transparent). I'll ask for friedcat to transfer the shares as soon as these 2 conditions are met:
  • the payment from a winner get 6 confirmations (or the escrow confirms being in control of payment)
  • I have the winner address for dividend payments
I'll do it by PM, with a copy in this thread, my request will include a signature from my ASICminer address for a message asking transfer of shares from my address to the winner's address .

I accept escrow if you pay for it. John the Dong has handled escrow for some of my purchases here and I trust him.
Friedcat would be in an ideal position to make the transfer safe for you even if you don't trust me: you may want to ask for him to be the escrow in this case (he obviously is busy though).

If you don't want to use escrow you can check my ownership of the 75 shares with the following information:

my ASICminer owner address is:
1NqD5zp5p1X6GB3KFjgbRyquS5vdfeYCnX
the last proof of ownership transaction for 75 shares on this address was (~one hour ago):
564deaaf4addd4e0a1f54c2560a17e90ad2fb51b61ada43d57422892acad7404

The signature generated with my ASICminer owner address for the message
Code:
gyverlb has the private key for 1NqD5zp5p1X6GB3KFjgbRyquS5vdfeYCnX
is
Code:
HEpmr2jnIoTBRX/NXihAL5l3g2sMmOw4dX3S/HVYgbtBk9436wEiFtHdglk9PW1Tt2zRQrXQRn9HDy7htDs/+rg=

You can verify it by running:
Code:
verifymessage 1NqD5zp5p1X6GB3KFjgbRyquS5vdfeYCnX HEpmr2jnIoTBRX/NXihAL5l3g2sMmOw4dX3S/HVYgbtBk9436wEiFtHdglk9PW1Tt2zRQrXQRn9HDy7htDs/+rg= "gyverlb has the private key for 1NqD5zp5p1X6GB3KFjgbRyquS5vdfeYCnX"
in your Bitcoin client console.
