Just one nation won't have an enormous effect on the price, and even if they do it is always short term with Bitcoin. I am more concerned with the upcoming G20 conference which is on March 17-19 I believe. They are going to discuss cryptocurrencies in depth there, and that I believe will have a bigger effect as more nations are involved.

How many times did china ban cryptocurrency on thier country? And now they are starting again to crackdown crypto, i dont think bitcoin will be affected cause bitcoin is already immune in chinas doings.

Actually it is not the first situation that will happen in the cryptocurrencies. It happen before that has fuds, bad news about crypto. So, btc may affect this month or not or will continue into rise, let's see impact of this news.

Yes it will make a difference, one way or the other depending on what they announce but right now China has very little influence over cryptocurrency. Each time they 'ban' crypto the shock to the market is less.

Well it may have an impact because china is a huge market of cryptocurrency.
But its impact on the global cryptocurrency market remains unclear.

I know with this news it will affect the price of the Crypto market, but I can not predict that prices will go up or down. The Chinese market has a large community of people involved in the Crypto market. Their decision will have a big impact on the Crypto market.

Here the news
https://coincodex.com/article/1352/china-allegedly-plans-further-crackdown-on-cryptocurrencies/

i am not here to spread the FUD . just a question: do you think we go again the 5 February situation ?? Undecided

I think it could affect crypto currencies only on positive side.
Because China can't ban the coins more. Now there is allowed only to think about Bitcoin...

The 3/15 event (China's annual consumer protection day) has been anticipated for a while. I kind of feel the impact has already been priced in.

Ho hum. More rumours. Trust me, if people believed this news, they would be dumping right now. It's been several hours and we don't see Bitcoin really moving. Worst case scenario, people start believing in it and sell. Price goes back down below 10k. Then 15 March comes and the news is a non-event. People feel stupid and buy back Bitcoin.

If there's any news, it'll just be clarification. And possibly enforcement of existing laws.

So how many times will China crackdown Bitcoin? Isn't this already done two times. Looks like Chinese people are still using cryptocurrency without caring anything for the ban else government won't implement strictier regulations like this. Or maybe media is creating some FUD.

Crypto market has reached somewhat of a maturity level. Everytime you see blood, it always goes back up. Just going to shake some weak hands while making others who buy dips richer.

Could this be the reason for today's decline? Everything is red again.

Yeah. probably the news has something to do with the price decline today. I was surprised that we go below $11K because the last few days it seems that the price is stable at around $11K-$11.4. Now China allege crackdown will put another dent on the price for sure.

As much as we wanted them to be out of the picture, it seems that its not the case. A simple (fake) news coming from them will tip the balance of the price to a downward trend.

China the 15 march they might/will annonce future plans..

i am sure it will be affect to all cryptocurrency price and all depend on what they will announce, whether good future or bad of cryptocurrency.
as i know china is very big community of crypto and their decision would make different in this world.
At the same time, due to bad China news we had a drop which looked serious back in September, but wasn't as serious as the February Korean drop. I think we're done with reacting on the news, especially on exaggerated ones. It is said in the article that the icos are banned already. What else can happen? Banning btc? I don't think they'll go that far. And yet the article explicitly says that its content is based on rumors. I don't think we should take them seriously.
The market just can't go down even more.

I do not think that this crackdown from china will effect the market further as all the negativity has already been absorbed by the market in the previous months, now the only way for crypto market is to go up, hopefully.

We will see BTC is so tired all the FUD out there that has been created even if it's fake by all the whales out there just to go down the price of BTC because they've position on short. But right now BTC is really bullish possibly it will hit $16k or $15k this month but ofcourse it will depend on the news.

I don't think the market will suffer more than this, it will be same even after china news.
