Perhaps you need to handle claims to the administration so that they correct the mistake and return the loss.

How could they return the loss? Isn't the whole point of crypto to make that impossible..?

Anyway, it seems like the scam address is still accumulating new coins -- when i checked yesterday it had 1660 NEO, now it has over 2000  Angry
Yeah, chances are very small that will happens. Also, I contacted NEO on every possible platform but no answer at all so far.

Same happened to me yesterday with 8 NEO that i planned to HODL.

I was in a hurry when creating the wallet and even NOTICED that i first was at the .online url, which i thought was dodgy so i left it, googled neotracker again, and went to the .io address. Somehow they still got stolen though and went to the same address as where yours went. My first experience with crypto robbery - expensive lesson learned Sad
if there has already been a massive robbery of coins on the same food, then I believe that this is not a leak from your resources of your personal data. This is most likely a problem with the platform that provides you with cells for wallets to store your coins. Perhaps you need to handle claims to the administration so that they correct the mistake and return the loss.

I am sorry for your loss. I have read many different instances of people who had their funds stolen.
Most of these scam sites are very convincing, they even tell you it is safe to key in the private key. I sincerely hope that there is a way to punish all these people behind the scams.
Thank you for sharing this at let this be a reminder to everyone to be extra careful when visiting any sites.

OMG! You should always be careful in negotiating in business transactions that involve your money and the key. Be aware of what you are doing coz if we talk about money more people become evil. They create sites that very looks a like to steal your money. Be your own protection dude. Be more careful next time. Take the lesson.

Sorry for your loss. As a hodler of some Neo, this thread got me scared but glad to know it was not a neotracker issue but your own mistake. I dont even login to my address even to claim gas, it will keep accumulating and I can claim it once in every few months.
No matter how small the amount, I had to work hard to earn it.

Do not for any reason upload your private key and always double check url of a website before you even make use of the site to avoid being phished by a fake website. Hacking most time is from a phishing website a look alike of an original website. Therefore, be careful and be sure the url is certified and not fake http.

Thanks everyone. At least I hope this works as a warning for others to not make the same misstake!

I still want to see that NEO adress blocked and that clone website banned though. Any steps I can take?

You can'd do anything with it. But you can try to make an awareness to the neo community about that scam site. Basically if your amount already sent to the another wallet and you can't recover it. But the developer of neo tracker is also can't do anything about that. But neotracker is working just like mew and it's very similar in my opinion.

this is very sad news. I had the similar thing entering private key for SuperBitcoin fork, mybtgwallet website was hacked.
Then someone stole my ethereum prive keys, I still do not how.

I bought a hardware wallet then, and keep all my precious coins in hardware wallet. Since you had 50 neo which is a quiet good amount, I would recomment you got some. I think you had other investments

15, not 50 Smiley I have a bit of Vechain, but NEO was definitly my biggest asset.

Also, some other peopleposted here that they were scammed by the same address without using their private key, only encrypted key or keystore file: https://www.reddit.com/user/alanhendry

Though I did something very stupid, I'm still sure I didn't use my private key only my encrypted key... and password. Anyway, I'm contacting NEO in all possible ways. I also posted on Reddit yesterday but to no avail, barely any comments or help there.

If anything comes up from this, I'll update.

I am tech savvy
don't lie, a tech savvy that felt for one of the easiest ways to scam people who own cryptocurrencies, a clone website? A tech savvy wouldn't just click any random websites that says 'neo wallet' and upload the private keys to it.
You broke the number 1 rule in cryptocurrency: do not share your private keys.
At least your learned a lesson, the hard way.

Thanks everyone. At least I hope this works as a warning for others to not make the same misstake!

About the address, you should go to NEO's official website, look for their contact info and send them an email providing every detail of the scammers (NEO address, site name, how it is showing on google search, etc), if you don't get a response from them, go to their twitter or facebook page. Once they confirm the site is indeed a scam, they'll know how to handle it. And who knows, they might help you recover the NEO you lost.
And you should also spread the info about this scam works, go to NEO forums, reddit, social media, etc, and expose them as much as you can.

Since I had problems with my local NEO wallet (couldn't claim GAS), I used https://neotracker.io to open my wallet and claim GAS. I used my keystore file and password so it should be safe. However, when I opened my wallet again today, again safely, my NEO are gone, and I found this transaction: https://neotracker.io/tx/5202aaf6aba5a14bead10199b8bae6aa0ff46fa696ecb49ac16cae928ef53b50

The adress it was sent to is definitvely not mine! https://neotracker.io/address/AHk7t8cKGDM2sARMFUw7F5zjPdqNCbnnjj

I never shared my keys or password with anyone.

To keep things short: - Is my NEO stolen? - Can i revert this payment? - Is https://neotracker.io/ known for being fraudulent? -What did I do wrong?

Excuse me while i bash my head into a wall!

The more I check on this, the more it seems that https://neotracker.io is either hacked or they are stealing funds. The address my 15 NEO was sent to is less than a day old and has a big amount of NEO and tokens in it + new transactions are coming in every minute: https://neotracker.io/address/AHk7t8cKGDM2sARMFUw7F5zjPdqNCbnnjj

Even if it's not hacked, the devs op neotracker.io shoul be very aware that this is happening! Chances are very small i'm the only one!

look man, i have been using the neotracker.io  for quite some time now and i really have never encountered any problem using their services. which removes the speculation that it is stealing from people. that leaves the hacking issue which isn't really impossible to happen. so i think this really might be the reason if you really think that you did all the necessary precautions needed to make sure everything is secured and done right.
but also, due to some stress or laziness, some people really fail to check every letter of the url first whether it is spelled correctly or not. i sure hope you did not make this kind of mistake.

now regarding the reversibility of the transactions made, sad to say but i really do not think that something like this can possibly be done.
i think you should contact the support team. although i do not think that doing this will actually get you your coins back, but at least it is truly worth the try.

i really am sorry for you op, and i do hope that you'd still be able to get your funds back. good luck man.

edit : sorry, thought this wasn't solved yet.
don't worry op, i believe somehow you will get back what you've lost and possibly even earn more. do not feel too bad about it. at least you have
         learned something.

So sorry to hear that, and I know how hopeless and angry you fill after the scam like that. But thanks for sharing since at least your story can help somebody to prevent the same act as happened to you.
Take care!

Never ever give out your private key. Would you give someone your banking codes? I'm sorry for your loss and hope better things come your way in the near future. Lesson learned.
