Bitcoin is much more stable and I think that in the coming months the best solution is to keep your money in BTC, it will save you from unnecessary risks.
I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. Only times will show which move is best. I think I would go with the.50 / 50 if that's an option. If it’s not. I would probably go with BTC. But 50/50 is like the most non risk option in my opinion better safe than sorry
I think we can’t really tell anything that can happen in any market . But for me I will still choose Btc over eth for the December rush. If I consider the price
Bitcoin would be a coin that I would hold in December too, I would not choose Ethereum because Bitcoin seems like it has the potential to have a pump during January.

I must say depends of your mods if you want to hold or trade to make profit in it, but I guess better trade or buy some ICO's now because some of the projects now are opening some good sales an also make an exchanges also next month I guess because the market will be good.
Personally now I prefer to trade and fix my result of trade (profit or loss) only in USD. But If I would choose among Bitcoin and Ethereum, there is no doubt that I would choose Bitcoin in nay situation.
Better to buy Ethereum. In a few years this coin will be very expensive. I bought 5 coins for a long term is a good investment.
It is an interesting comparison, when the amount is more difficult when people decide. If I had 10 bitcoins it would be very difficult to invest for me. But not stay completely bitcoin, I would buy some ethereum and neo 
If you ask me right now I will actually pick bitcoin over ethereum right now simply because bitcoin is the better store of value in this kind of market condition, eth has lost a lot of its value because the main function is to be used for ico and right now ico market isn't that good, and there's tons of ico that have to sell their eth sooner or later to secure the project funding that can increase the selling pressure.

I will go for Bitcoin because i believe that bitcoin will pump on December 2018. It will be more valuable in the December 2018. So let's stay with our Bitcoin, let's hold it until the big pump comes again.
A lot of time has passed since the creation of topic and we see that 9.5 bitcoins now cost much more than 150 ethereums. If I had chosen now between investing in these two assets, I would choose Bitcoin, because it always will be the cryptocurrency #1 and much more stable that any altcoin

well it's better indeed we can divide our portfolio into a lot of coins to be able to get many benefits from the increase in price

Just split the funds between two of this in some equals proportion. The best strategy for me is 30% in BTC, 30% in ETH, 15% in top altcoins perspective like NEO EOS ADA, 15% you could trade on, 5% very risky fast profit trades, 5% in fiat for buying the deep. If you like my strategy share with merit, would be pleased.

I'd probably divide it into two in order to have more chances of earning huge profit. Market at this moment is still on red marks which makes it hard to make assumptions on which one would be dominant this year. So in order to be safe from regrets, and since bitcoin and ethereum are both good cryptos, investing to two would be a wiser decision. I recommend you BTC. Until ETH will solve its problems with GAS Fees will pass a bit of time.
