If you want to put them into cryto consider diversify the portfolio, e.g 50% BTC, 30% ETH, 20% Alts, or 40% BTC, 30% ETH, 30% ICO. Also invest gradually over time so you don't hit a recent peak. Following twitter and youtube talk will help so you understand the reason behind the fall and rise and make informed investment decision.

You can start by investing in a good ICO or a bright future quality coin. Do not forget that you must be patient if you want to do better and make money in the future.

1. Buy bitcoin. 100% bitcoin and nothing else.

2. Don't trust anyone telling you to buy something else. If you want to invest in alts you have to do your own research.

You will miss some great oppurtunities when not investing in alts. Projects that will outperform bitcoin short term. But the chance that you buy into some scam is much greater.

It is not only bitcoin to invest in, there are many great projects around that have the potential to be very big just like bitcoin in the future, if all these forks for people who want more money and power keeps coming I dont know about bitcoin, the altcoins at this stage can give you definitely higher returns, although bitcoin in the future will only rise up, I think eventually Amazon will start using bitcoin as a payment method.

If you have this money and you are willing to invest this it is good for you to make a wise decision find the correlation of two or three currencies and invest in that during this time you search for the prices up and down of that currencies and when find some appropriate time you can make your profit through this. Once you start profitable investment like this you will start searching more about trading and investment.

Whatever people tell you to do, do your own research before investing in anything. Bitcoin has been pumped because of the coming Hard Fork. People think to get some free money and therefor buy btc to get free bitcoin gold.

I think it is smart to use this altcoin dip to accumulate some promising altcoins. I advise everyone to look into SONM and BNB. I think these two coins have big room for growth on the long run. Please quote me on this and come back next year and u will thank me.

You should leave me thn 50% into bitcoin, if you want to trade some altcoins. Good altcoins are waves, eth and stratis in my eyes. All three coins are good longterm investments!
splitting is quite good but if you already got some knowledge about trading better to stick with btc for a while correction is ongoing and for sure
just allow the fork to be completed and then lets see if what would happen right after.

I think you have your answer:

Buy BTC after the price dips, should be coming soon in a couple weeks to a month.

And I will just repeat what others have said:

Don't trust what other people say or at least take it with a very tiny grain of salt.
If you absolutely NEED to put some money in an altcoin, I would say take at least 3 weeks to research it yourself to come to your own conclusions.

If it were me I'd put most in BTC (at a nice dip in the chart).. but I wouldn't rush into becoming fully invested too quickly. How long have you been monitoring the crypto market? How extensive is your investment experience? I'd start small and gain confidence as you become profitable if you plan to invest in anything other than BTC.

Buy and hold bitcoin for "lower" risk. Look around for promising icos if you can take higher risk (and potentially higher rewards in the short term, or losses).

Also before buying for bitcoin you should go in when correction occur. Bitcoin now is going on a healthy correction and can drop to 5,200usd as the support line. If it breaks that supprort it can go upto 4,800usd as the next support line.

Dude, if i was you i would lose it for sure. But its so easy to tell others what to do. But here it goes anyway
First decide do you wanna be an investor, or a trader.
If you wanna invest then study the best promising projects, buy whenever you feel like it and hold.
If you wanna be a trader then instead of jumping right in, buy Bitcoin or better yet USDT
Then lay low and wait for a real bloodbath
Wait until everything turns red, -15 to -20% on BTC or ETH
Then go all in on whatever you want. You think its easy, but its not.

Hi Guys.
I just loaded kraken with 15k which is some saving I do have to play with crypto.
How would you invest it ? Which % on which crypto and why ?
Thank you Smiley
You should buy bitcoins immediately because the new fork is about to come and you will get bitcoin gold for the same amount you will be having bitcoins in your wallets. and after all this sell your btc gold and convert in bitcoins and hold for 6months. u will have a great profit.
