Thanks for the many replies and condolences  Grin

Its ok i only lost what i could afford , i am not homeless

I looked at what little i knew of market at the time and decided ALT coins
had greater potential , then i discovered TOKENS , that had plans to
be coins , even greater potential was the thought :-)

I was deliberately looking for high risk , high reward , and i took
a decent spread of tokens but many died and i targeted my favourites

I feel theres a chance still some of these tokens still alive might make it in
the apparent upcoming bull run , but rather than have millions of one
token i was thinking it might be better to have a million each of 3 tokens type thing
spread the chances ....

thanks for the links and info provided i will study in due course

im one of the 99% who lost money in the past 18 months
i preferred alt coins , but if i had chosen bitcoin i would have
been in same position ce la vie

one of the last projects im with is still in existence , just !
it seems semi abandoned , but i have millions of tokens
trapped in a project ( website digital token ) that had ambitions to
be a crypto but never made it so far

just wondering is there such a thing as a non listed token exchange
where semi failed projects can exchange tokens for other semi failed projects :-)
id like to split my risk
You are probably using a translator, so it is really hard to understand what you are saying and asking.
Sadly, altcoins are more volatile than bitcoin thus has greater risk when investing your money to it compared to bitcoin. Again, looks like you have invested on a project that you think has potential but unfortunately, the project has been abandoned (I am assuming this based on your post were you say "never made it so far"). That is why I refrain people from investing on ICOs and stuffs. I have heard most of them failing even if they have high potential. I would rather recommend you to invest on bitcoin than investing in an ICO or random altcoins.
Why would you want to split tokens with failed project? They won't have values anyway.

It would have been better if people are taking advantage of market movement before investing in crypto, there is always times for sellings and there is always time for buying as well, for example early 2019 bitcoin was trading at 3,500$ and that was when i bought some, if people know how to take advantage of bear market and bull market it will be a different story for many

Things are always easier to say with hindsight. I too invested some when btc was at the 3-4K range, but now I wonder why I didn't invest more. Answer is easy ... nobody knows where the tops and bottoms are. We easily could be sitting here with btc at 1-2K, crying that we bought btc at 3.5K.

For the OP, he could look at some dexes, maybe some trade his coin. But if no exchange, anywhere, trades his coin, he's kind of stuck.

Before you invested in altcoins you should have known that altcoins are much more risky than Bitcoin. Exchanging altcoins for Bitcoin is now the worst thing what you can do, because Bitcoin has already grown 400%, while altcoins not.  Smiley

New altcoin project pose a bigger gamble than bitcoin, I am very careful when investing in one

I'm sorry this happened to you, buddy. I have not heard anything about the exchange of non listed tokens, it looks a bit strange. I, like you, have lost a lot in the last couple of years, but I'm not going to give up.

I just wonder why people choose to invest in altcoins over stable coins despite failure and scams in altcoins trading, price crash and series of scam altcoins that rocked 2017 and 2019. To me, buying bitcoin, ethereum and other stable coins when prices are cheap and selling at a higher price is better than throwing ones good money in the air just in the name of altcoins investment.

There are ups and downs with every form of investment. Back in 2017, the returns from altcoins were much higher than that of Bitcoin. But in the succeeding year, Bitcoin went down mildly when compared to the heavy losses for altcoins. Now it can go either way. We need to remember that many of the altcoins are already down by as much as 90% from their ATH.

I also have millions of DOCTtailor tokens but they are still trapped on mobile phones, they are useless / no sale value. even worse to withdraw the token requires a $$ cost, while the selling price of the token is in the range of $. how would you feel if in my position?

I very much understand you because I also have that experience. Like someone said, you can sell off at whatever price if that is still possible. And , someone said many have experienced it, so you need to move on and take some lesson.

Many times, you can't know an already dumping project as a newbie.

You arent the only one who do seek out for these answers and thats why this market is being flooded out by shitcoins.I do even have my shitcoins in my bag
and definitely had some hundreds of thousands of each of them but eventually doesnt have a value and some the price is in the floor thats why im still holding it on
and might able to see some light when the market tends to bull run but well im not expecting too much for this matter since no one knows on what would happen.
Want to divide up the risk? you cant. No one would able to buy those no value tokens that you are holding on. Better not to stress out yourself and just simply focus
on things that you were currently involved on rather than thinking up always on how to get out on such situation.

Me too. I have lost a lot in the past 15 months. When I came to this market, I invested more than $ 5,000 and now I have just over $ 1200. That is a great loss

You are not alone on this(I feel sorry for you  Cry) A lot of people have lost their money in ICO(Including me). My investment is gone!! It was a total scam, It was crazy in 2017, I'm glad I Didn't expose much of my BTC in ICOs. Lesson learned, I'll always have greater percentage of my portfolio in BTC, Bitcoin will never screw me.

I'm very sad about your loss, everyone has bad days in the crypto trading, but it was the same losing in 2018, which most investors(including me) have lived inside the mentioned event. l have some tokens, but it costs nearly zero, there is nothing to do about it and of course, it let me down very badly. l don't lose my hopes, maybe in the future, something marvel will happen. Stay strong or you will be the victim in the battle between the uptrend and downtrend bias traders. The bias on the market is very bad for the both short term and long term traders. The market will habitually go to the direction of the less expected by the huge portion of the market participants.

Wow, you look like you're out of luck  Undecided. but I also participated in dozens of bounty campaigns ... but the coins could not be sold because they did not enter the exchange. only on the Erc-20 wallets. I lost more energy and time Angry

As far as I understand, you are talking about ICO investments, Perhaps you have chosen the wrong time to invest, Bear market, ICO regress 99% of ICOs are all bad. The advice is to forget the number of tokens you own and start a new plan.

You can try to sell all your tokens on Forkdelta, because it is a p2p exchange and people are selling useless tokens there. Do not expect any huge return, but if you are lucky, you get get several bucks back from selling those tokens.

there is no buyer for a shit-token my friend even on forkdelta or other decentralized exchange for ethereum tokens
because there is no reason to buying it
just learn from the past, because experience is the best teacher

That was a good lesson for 99%  people, a lot of us saw bear market first time.  I can only advice do not invest money which you can't afford to lose.
