Vitaliy didnt you also win 100$ apple gift card for 30$ ?

That is correct. I have won two auctions on these forums and neither seller honored their part of the transaction.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/100-apple-giftcard-56275

IMO, this Auctions forum needs to have a rule set up by a Moderator that gives the scammer label to people who do these kind of things.

Update:
After I won, OP told me that this was 'supposedly' shipped on the week of 12/26/2011.
One month has passed and no coin has been received.
kujoking7 what is the status of this, can you provide a tracking number?

No he didn't pay in advance, and sorry but I sold it to a friend.

So you just lied to Vitaliy?

This guy won the auction. If he is not able to buy the coin I would like to ask the admins if this is considered a scam by the forum rules. The time was clearly stated. I looked up the timezone and I bet Vitaliy did as well...  He was 3 seconds before the end.

A mistype noticed days after is in my book some BS...

That's correct, I looked this up to be sure since there's a few hours difference in EST.

Even if I had won the auction I do not think I would trust the seller to ship it at this point anyway.

I have been notified by kujoking7 as being the winner.

Considering the "misunderstanding mistype" in this auction, I will go through with my bid if he agrees to send first.

The coin is approx. 3/4 oz of silver, so at current silver prices (~$30/oz) it's worth about $23, which is currrently about 6 BTC ($3.85/BTC).

Yeah, this is bogus.  I really suggest the OP should step up, apologize, and retract the change.

A coin like this is pretty much worth the melt value only, and as the original auction date neared its end the price basically shot up to melt value + small premium + shipping.  This is what usually happens in coin auctions.  The price isn't going to go up significantly.

Is the coin 1 oz of 99.99% silver?  If so, and if the auction is not over, I bit 6.9 BTC.

For the record, all silver commemorative dollars from the US mint are 'coin' silver (90% silver) and have about total of ~ 0.77 ozt of silver.

Hey, surely you are right here, but I don't think there's a need for this sort of post. Wouldn't it be better for the community, you reputation, your business, if you kept this sort of thing out of the auction forum?

He could do that but then he would undermine any confidence people would have in future auctions.

This is a tricky one because the end time was not stated in "board time" so people need to convert the time zones and it's confusing.

Add a "mistype" for the ending time after a flurry of bidding and some bidders may start to question the outcome.

If my bid was behind the original end time of the auction I will stick to my bid. If my bid is after the original ending time then I will not be bidding further since I was under the impression this auction ended at a time that was different from when it is now supposed to end.
