LoL tit I am running a Litcoin Pool if ya want to send some CPU hashes it'sa way
( and yes we have found over 40 blocks on it already )

Roughly how difficult is it to mine Litecoin (I have no idea but thought I'd give it a bash with my CPU anyway  Grin )

Been mining on half my CPU cores for about an hour and just solo-mined my first block  Grin

I'm not talking about CPU Hashes, litecoin is also GPU mine-able. From my estimates I should have roughly 350-375kh/s to throw around, I"ll consider your pool.

Also if you remote desktop the ati driver will unload and break all the temp fan voltage and clock changing abilities.

Aye I've had to remote desktop to my computer while I'm on vacation, and I can no longer see the temperature. Its over 100*f back at my house, so upon return I'm expecting the worst. Maybe the plastic melted off the cards? Tongue

And sorry marty but if this litecoin pricing keeps up I might be joining the gold mine pretty soon. I rather make $4 a day then $2.

how would i be able to bring it up so i can check on it while i am R.D. into that system
You won't. You can use the API or something like anubis.

I am moving everything back to 3 sepererate servers.  eu3 is going back as another option...  sorry to my mates accross the pond  Wink

If it's anything, I'm UK based, just switched from the EU servers to us3 as my primary and my rejected shares have gone from 3-4% to 0.2%

So I think I'll be using the US ones anyway  Cheesy

Perhaps use the API or a web app that plugs into the api, then you can just goto the ip and url on that pc.

I have not used one for CGMiner, but I believe there are a couple of web apps that plug into it and allow total control.

kind regards

Just run intensity 7. The computer will run well and still hash good.

You can also hide cgminer with a vbscript.
Just paste into a text file and rename whatever.vbs and run it.
Quote

Set WinScriptHost = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WinScriptHost.Run Chr(34) & "C:\cgminer\cgminer.exe" & Chr(34), 0
Set WinScriptHost = Nothing

You'll have to use task manager to kill it.

Agreed.

Get GPU-Z and watch the gpu usage under the sensors tab, adjust your intensity until it gets to just under 100% and back it off a bit, or use dynamic as suggested.

kind regards

I just might try that
While you're at it, change the intensity on the other one to 8 or maybe 9. Having it set to 14 will give you a lot of rejects.

WOOOOOT Now getting 550MH/sec

the following stats are after trial and testing and tweaking over the last 7 hours

and a final restart of the system and CGminer
As i am using the Load Balance option in CGminer to spread all my shares and hashrate between all three servers

Awesome!  Your running a tight ship...

Update: Instead of trying to herd cats, I consolidated EU2 and EU3 to one instance and set up a private instance in the eu for a user that can't split.  Stats for EU2 will continue on the private server and new traffic for EU2 move to EU3.  EU3 will be renames EU2, if you are keeping score.  However, NO ONE NEEDS TO DO ANYTHING, just change eu3 to eu2 on your miners with in the next 30-45 days...then I'll delete eu3 in DNS...  I removed eu3 from the OP, but you can still mine on it for a month or so...

Update: EU1 was restarted...burp
