Yes, I'm an asshole

By the way, I am just learning about 1xbit exiting the forum now, for a while I stopped seeing their signature ad campaigns around but thought they were only on break or on a little pause, it's unfortunate for the high ranking accounts that may not be able to get accepted into other signature campaigns at the moment and going forward.

since they've sold their reputation for some of the money they've made, they have to accept it.
but I'm sure those who join in promoting 1xbit don't only have one account. some connections have been uncovered in the past. After all, some accounts don't just get negative tags from participating in campaigns, they already collect a few tags before joining the campaign.
I'm sure there won't be much regret from the participants even though the campaign is over.

Adding to Pandu Geddon's statement, what happened is the other way round, it's not that they can't join other campaign because they got tagged due to participating on 1xbit, they joined 1xbit because they're already tagged. Mostly, 1xbit participants are those who can't join other campaigns due to their violation and negative feedbacks, so they resort only to the last campaign who's... well, at the bottom of the barrel.

1xbit promoters are fine to accept negative feedback for money, I've not heard if the participants are not get paid, so why you can say the 1xbit promoters are victims?
I think what op meant as the promoters of 1xbit are also their victims is based on the fact that every one who wore the 1xbit signature has now ended up with a negative tagged account meanwhile, 1xbit is no longer here on the forum to keep paying them.

It's indeed a lesson for us all to learn, money comes in various means, but we should only give attention to money that comes while maintaining our reputation rather than destroy it.

the participants of the casino campaign have not thought about the reputation of their accounts. even more of the accepted accounts already had negative tags before. so I'm sure there will be no regrets for all the participants.
if indeed their campaigns and projects will not be active again from the forum, this will become anxiety for the campaign participants. because they will no longer shitpost on gambling boards. except for those who are not aware that they will not be paid.

You are right, most of the signature campaign participants of that scam casino were already having negative tags on their accounts, and the 1xbit accepted them into the campaign without any issue. That's a shame that how those people sold their souls for the evil money that 1xbit gains by scamming its users. I have also noticed that the members which were accepted in campaign gained 0 merits in last 120 days, and that's another insane thing that a campaign accepted the participants with 0 merits earned in previous 120 days.

Well, we all know that the casino is known for its shady activities, and anyone who trusts such casinos will lose his/her saving without any question. The problem I noticed was that a few good members of the forum also applied for that scam campaign, I know that everyone wants to earn from those signature campaigns by contributing to them in the form of posts, but still it's morally not good to apply for a campaign run by a site which is known for scamming its users.

Hello Leo! You can still win.
I am not aware that 1xbit is no longer in the forum. In the recent time I haven't seen their thread or spreadsheet. Even if 1xbit is gone, they lasted for long which I least expected.
But then all the accounts that promoted the project are condemned. Who knows if 1xbit can return again in the forum for promotion.
If I were them, I will not return because their reputation is ruined in the forum.

There are reports that they bought those accounts and their employees are the ones posting here, those accounts with a few exceptions are just spamming the discussions they are not here to contribute but to promote because if those accounts are here to contribute they would do so even if 1xbit do not have a running campaign, these are dedicated accounts for 1xbit campaigns and unfortunately they are going to be here as long as 1xbit is allowed here.

afaik they are buying those accounts that joined their campaigns. there are talks about this in a channel i have been. they PM those users and offer to buy the account so whenever they are doing campaigns, its just their employee in a mini cubicle and the operating 10 accounts trying to post in the gambling section.

You really don't need to get accepted before earning a red tag, the moment you make an application  there, and it finally gets noticed,  then that's the end because I'm sure you might possibly  earn about two red tags and even more for just applying  and the red tags keeps flowing in the moment  you get accepted.
Funny how people let impatience drive them away from their greater goal and now I'm sure most of those accounts took some great effort to grow and just got condemned.

I was worried why it took @thymos, don't know if I got the name correctly and other appropriate persons to take down all of 1xbits related campaigns down but good a thing its already down.
Funny how people aren't bothered  about what tomorrow  holds but rather focus on just today.

I'm sorry for all participants of 1xbits especially those who got red tagged for unintentionally applying, hope you get things straight.

Because moderators don't handle scam accusations, they trust the members --especially DTs-- to help and warn each others. Theymos strive to create a decentralized ecosystem for the forum, which is also why the new ever-changing DT system is introduced. I think it'll be a tad bit counterproductive from theymos' goal if moderators intervening on accusations and reputations by taking down members or platforms themselves.

So if this is true and all those 1xbit signature campaigns are the ones they purchased, why would they be initiating a Signature campaign, etc or they just wanted to give the illusion that they are running a campaign and hiring people to promote their services  Huh Do you have proof that those accounts were bought and are in the custody of 1xbit?

For quite some time now i have not seen any of the 1xbit campaign promoters doing anything. Seems 1xbit has finally decided to stay low for the moment without their identity being noticed. With the scam accusations so far, not much have been resolved by this casino but rather they keep denying the fact that they have any knowledge of what the complaints are all about. Peoples funds are still pending and  waiting to hearing from the them.

They kept on saying that they are resolving the people issue but the fact was that there are new issues being created and no progress on the old ones. Only by saying that we are doing good would not make them honest and clean. They needed to actually take the actions to resolve the issues which they failed to do so.

They still paid their participants in their last campaign, and they still have a need for these participants if there are special events like World Cup or seasonal campaigns like holiday seasons they are going to launch signature campaigns so they need these accounts and these accounts have no choice but to apply because no signature campaigns will accept them.

They are scamming their players but they are generous to their promoters because they need these promoters to supply their platform with new people to scam.

These participants must be willing and waiting for the 1xbit to start a new campaign or renew the existing one, so they can again join and earn money from them by promoting the scam.
At least they are out of this forum for the time being and it is a sign of relief for most of us.

You can check 1xbit official ANN thread to get updates  on what is happening there ,and also check the campaign thread it has been locked without any notice to their vulnerable promoters.

1xbit has not announced officially that they have exited the forum. I am sure that they will come up with another signature campaign with a new clean thread maybe, who knows? Maybe they want to give a break, just thinking that the dust will settle down and they will come again to scam new people and get new gamblers from their signature promotions.

1xbit is a notorious scam casino, that professionalizes in seizing players' huge deposits and winnings by blocking their
 accounts outrightly.

What keeps the betting platform still on the forum is that scam is not being moderated on the forum here, this gives them more right to continue campaign on the forum, except for the newbies just joining, an average member of this forum would have come across their allegation threads as many as possible, we should also know that what we cannot afford to loose shouldn't be on a casino wallet.

What this means to newbies is, never trust any project or company that has scam allegations against them no matter what their promise in return, in the long run, you will become their victim too just like 1xbit promoters.

If you truly know that you're not a scammer then why promoting a scam casino, this is one of the reasons you could discover seing some of its promoters getting tags.

Can't verify this but if you search the 1xbit keyword on search bar of this section you can see a lot of accusation and casinos where they are suspectedly related.

They would possibly go back here if they want yo promote something in their casino so lets not take their silence so easy because maybe they are thinking to run a new campaign when they have a new to introduce.

One thing I love about the forum is the way investigations  are been carried out and maybe I can possibly report all criminal cases around me to the forum.
Mehh, the forum holds a special  place in my heart and I love how much effort people put into investigations  just to keep the forum clean and I guess this your assumptions about the 1xbit buying accounts should be true  because judging from their last launched campaign,  it seems applications were selected basically from few persons  which at some point aligns with your assumptions.

Yeah the party is truly over indeed and I really do feel bad for all those who weren't  patient  enough and I hope this also serves as a warning to we all.
Right from the very first time I steeled in here, I've always known 1xbit to be a scam platform and there is also a local casino with almost same name 1xbet, and most times I even feel and have to stay more conscious while using the casino and that is just to show you how careful I can be.
People should learn how to be patient and follow due courses rather than trying to cut corners.
If our focus in this space is to learn then I don't see the reason why some few sets of people would not adhere to a simple warning I was aware when the whole drama with 1xbit was at its top and multiple users posted their unsolved problems with the casino, and yet some members went on to promote them for a long time before the bubble busted on them.
most of the accounts that joined the scam site's signature campaign were reputationally flawed. so they don't take their reputation into account when they get negative tags from DT members.
I can't believe they can manage campaigns and pay for signature campaigns long enough. and that means there is a big possibility that the site is still running to continue to cheat their new members. out of nowhere they get new members, what is clear is that from this forum most likely no one will play there.

For those who get on-board on that signature campaigns, it's either they used their burner account and so they doesn't care about the negative feedback they got or just totally ignorant about the accusations against this casinos.

In any case, good riddance for them, if the casino are not going to pay for their campaign then it just shows the character of 1xbit.

they would be back later to promote 1xbit or create another casino to promote. they did attempt to have other casinos back then but users here had linked 1xbit to those casinos still.

I thought that this thread is the most appropriate at this time because it will serve as a warning for newbies and other rank members never to trust a scammer that said he has repented just like in the case of 1xbit, and other scam casinos or other cryptocurrencies projects that have promoted the services here in the forum before their final exit.

This is the reason on why forum accounts who participated in joining the 1xbit campaign signature are automatically negative-tagged by majority of the trusted users given the history of this scam company.

I hope this serves as a reminder to everyone that 1xbit is absolutely a fraud casino. No matter how much they try to conceal and to advertise their services, the fact still remains that they will only scam and take an exit every time there is a profit on their side.

Users should be aware and alerted about them. If people still fall on their fraudulent scheme, then the only person to blame is yourself.

Most particupants who jouned 1xbit campaign may not care about its reputation and how this casino has scammed many people. They may only focus on the payment that theu will earn by joining their campaign and it has been quite long campaign. I don't know why but I am curious why 1zbit at that time was still able to pay that big amount to the particioants, whereas  they have been well known as scammer. I was wondering, how many users that are coming newly to their platform after tge campaign.

but let it be. What we must consider is that we have understood that 1xbit is a scam gambling platform. And we must learn enough for it to stay away from that kind of platform,l and also whatever campaign and programs they arrange. All of the members supporting 1xbit got red trust and this really gave bad impact to the ineividual actually.

The only lesson to learn on 1xbit is that newbies should read their threads before participating in the casino or playing on the casino. I've never seen any 1xbit campaign thread or promoter that doesn't have a warning tag or negative feedback, so newbies should focus mainly on reading those feedback, It'll save them from the risk of moving ahead to stake games on 1xbit casino. I don't remember, for sometimes, seeing members who wear 1xbit signature, but never thought of it that they've left the forum for good. Their campaign accepts members with negative feedback and it's the main reason why many users with trust issues always promote them for money despite knowing how deceitful the casino is to players.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
1xbit is not even ready to let go of their equivocal activities on the forum. They've been noted to scam and Rob alot off thier coins and earnings and several reports have also been made to them but they won't even do anything about it.... All they'll do is come back into the forum and seeks promoters with decent account and history in a bid to offer a good pay for running 'em ads.
I simply ask questions - why Theymos doesn't wanna let them away??... Sometimes I feel he needs to give them a chance?? Some other times, I'll feel he just wanna make the forum as free as possible. It's high time people knew what's happening in that site.

We are already aware of the reputation of this site, so it's up to us to evaluate whether we still trust them with our money. I'm sure they will run a signature campaign from time to time, so I don't believe that they have completely left the forum.

The red tag given to the OP and the members of the campaign serves as a sufficient warning for newcomers to check their reputation, and the community has already done a lot to alert others. However, this site is large and widely present, even on popular social media platforms.

The danger warning 1xbit has warned JollyGood in the topic REQUEST FOR ATTENTION OF: All 1xbit Signature Campaign Participants.
The fraud committed by 1xbit is massive and cannot restore their reputation in any way. They are trying to spread their wings through this forum by launching campaigns from stolen money to attract more victims, unfortunately forum members, especially those who still have a good reputation, have never been tempted by this scam site.
Those who advertise 1xbit on average have received Red trust before, their account is completely damaged after advertising 1xbit and it will be difficult to be accepted in other campaigns.

I already check it.

I see many users are complaint in their ANN thread which is nothing new and as for the campaign thread, they've said they might pause their campaign soon, but according to the campaign spreadsheet, it seems fine because they've updated to the week 81.

After all it depends on the participants trust to 1xbit, they're not hire any campaign manager and they've receive numerous negative feedback, they can choose to not repay their campaign participants because they don't care about negative feedback.

Indeed a lesson for everyone. 1xbit is scamming its users since the beginning. I wonder how on earth people promote them knowing that the site is scamming people everywhere.

This is the first time I am hearing about 1xbit after a long time, I place anyone wearing the signature on ignored and even their official accounts and threads, but this is a bit of good news to hear that scammers are eliminated from these prominent forums., the fact that this came at a time where forum members are beginning to battle with AI challenges make it more exciting.
LOL  Grin  you take the hard way with the promoters. I used not to read their posts and avoided replying to them. Yeah, its a great news that they are eliminated from the forum.

Most of those accounts were already red-tagged, participation in the 1xbit campaign did not mainly ruin their accounts. But that says enough about the campaign and the participants, they don't care.
1xbit will not leave easily from here, because this forum is always a good starting point for promotion. Maybe that's good in a way because they successfully help to distinguish members with a low level of empathy and prone to fraud.

If I remember correctly, there was some analysis, most of the accounts included in their promotion are under the control of only 2 or 3 people. Maybe even a person directly employed by 1xbit.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Ixbit isn't gone yet.... They've been exiting the forum several time like that and would still end up coming back with some better-called projects with unspecified period of stay... They'll only lure many newbies into campaigning for them for the fat payout - then at the end of day, the account is varnished with 'em fine, red paint - the best way to indicate an Op with a low and horrible reputation..
Don't they ever plan on quitting?? That, I can't tell - but I'm sure that Thier Scammy activity is being exposed every single day and since the awareness is created,.they'll lose woefully in due time to the game.

I don’t think 1xbit is gone, they only ended their signature campaign. Scam is not moderated on the forum, that’s why casinos like 1xbit still have an ANN thread on the forum till today, even with all the allegations and tags, the company does not care to resolve the issues surrounding their reputation. This casino is notorious for spending money on promotions and doing nothing to fix their reputation. Thankfully, now that the signature campaign has ended, we will see the end of those signature spammers.

I thought that this thread is the most appropriate at this time because it will serve as a warning for newbies and other rank members never to trust a scammer that said he has repented just like in the case of 1xbit, and other scam casinos or other cryptocurrencies projects that have promoted the services here in the forum before their final exit.
It's true that 1xbit has been one casino with a very bad reputation both on and off the forum with series of scam accusations for many years, and a red flag on the forum, which seems not to care about users complaint nor relent on it's forum activities (i.e signature campaign and other promotion) at the detriment of its forum advertisers. But if I may ask where did you get the information that they finally left the bitcointalk forum? Because from the look of things they don't seem like a casino ready or willing to ever leave this forum today or anytime soon, as this is not the first time they closing a signature campaign, going off the forum for weeks and later coming back with a claim of repentance and willingness to pay back all scam funds.
There are no official statements regarding ops claims of 1xbits exit from the forum and if they finally pulled an exit one on their signature participants but indeed and regardlessof what comes along,  I care less about this casino since I can never play there since I will not be certain whether or not I will get a withdrawal.

1xbit is a bad reputed casino that everyone should avoid and there are not worth talking about since there are several unresolved crises between them and the players and their silence regarding those issues spoke a lot about the level of their reputations.

1xbit is a notorious scam casino, that professionalizes in seizing players' huge deposits and winnings by blocking their
 accounts outrightly.

I can still remember when the 1xbits campaign came on board,  many of the participants were warned not to participate in this signature campaign or risk being red-tagged, while some of them desist from promoting the scam casinos others continued regardless and were red-tagged, now the party is over and they accounts are ruined for life.

What this means to newbies is, never trust any project or company that has scam allegations against them no matter what their promise in return, in the long run, you will become their victim too just like 1xbit promoters.

First of all, change the title spelling for the lesson!

Next, What makes you think that they are leaving the forum just because they didn't pay signature campaign participants? Does their backlog of unpaid money from all the accounts they have unresolved issues before not worth compared to the signature campaign participant's salary for them to leave the forum?

They have thick skin in regards for not paying. I doubt they will just leave the forum for a silly backlog payment. They have multiple active flag on all of their account but still active here for many years. Nice try!

The majority of forum users who engaged in 1xBit despite the warning did so out of greed for money and the knowledge that their accounts already had negative feedback.

1xbit promoters are fine to accept negative feedback for money, I've not heard if the participants are not get paid, so why you can say the 1xbit promoters are victims?
You can check 1xbit official ANN thread to get updates  on what is happening there ,and also check the campaign thread it has been locked without any notice to their vulnerable promoters.
Even though 1xbit locked their campaign thread, they continued to participate in the forum. They can still access their campaign thread whenever they want and pick up where they left off. I think that the 1xbit management has done that in the past, pausing or locking the campaign thread for a while and then resuming it when they feel like continuing the forum campaign promotion.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
They locked their signature thread but the official ANN thread is still open so I can't conclude they ran away and about their exit I don't think they will because they are known to be scams still invest money to buzz their name around the forum and all the participants knew the consequences too but as far as I know most members already got negative tag so they were just happy to see a campaign that pays for their account.

So the actual lesson should be do enough research on ourselves before trusting the words of others lets take 1xbit as an example here so newbies learn to make your own analysis about anything you want to risk your money with.

the participants of the casino campaign have not thought about the reputation of their accounts. even more of the accepted accounts already had negative tags before. so I'm sure there will be no regrets for all the participants.
if indeed their campaigns and projects will not be active again from the forum, this will become anxiety for the campaign participants. because they will no longer shitpost on gambling boards. except for those who are not aware that they will not be paid.

They are still here and they don't exit the forum.

This post does not mean they abandon the forum. The account is last actively 3 hours ago or less.

I am not defending 1xbit in any way but the thread being locked doesn't really mean their promoters are vulnerable or victims and from the looks on their signature spreadsheet, the promoters are still being paid since it was being updated up to week 81 despite the signature thread being locked.

anyway, I feel like the thread belongs to Reputation instead here on Beginners & Help.

I Don't know about this as we all know that 1xbit have many issues in thier casino and one of those issues are what you stated above and yes about thier campaign every member of 1xbit got a negative trust it because they are promoting a casino that a lot of issues and negative feedback from thier player. But about thier campaign they run in good they pay thier participants accordingly to thier respective ranks. Maybe theirs no issues a out promoting. But the casino is itself is very dangerous so everyone one of here in forum must be aware what is the true color of this casino.

I would say users in this forum are very familiar with 1xbit, maybe everyone who have interest in gambling are more remember with 1xbit rather than their favorite casino. So what's new here?

Not all newbies which interested with Bitcoin want to gamble.

you will become their victim too just like 1xbit promoters.
