In the case of 1xbit, it would be difficult for a newbie to spot their shady Modus operandi, without going though doing their own research, as they are supposed to.

Research is very important, it doesn't take a lot of time to know the reputation of a gambling site. Just open google browser search " 1xbit scam" and information will pop up, the number 1 in the list are coming from bitcointalk, so newbie could read the accusation and would be able to know that they cannot be trusted.
If all newbies or even not are looking for reputation first then there will be no victim this site is
and we are not talking about this here because scams seems to happen for a reason and that is to teach
everyone a lesson , I am not siding with 1xbit because they must really pay for what they have done but
what said here is that people needs to learn from their mistakes and this is what they have done wrong
for not checking the reputation first before putting their money and play.

Which kind of banner ads for example can bypass the uBlock Origin blocking rules?
I could try creating as issue on their GitHub and see if there is a workaround by the devs.
Banner ads on sites like Twitch can bypass their blocking rules for example. Shared a link below.

I don't think the devs can solve this issue for everyone, but there are workarounds like creating specific filters to block them though only few users are smart enough to execute this stuff on their own.
this is really an interesting stuffs because there is really a need for blocking in this site or else
there will be more and more that will suffer from this scammers .

The ad-blockers that you guys are talking about don't block all advertisements though. Some 1xbit ads are banner ads which can still be displayed despite using powerful ad-blockers like ublock origin etc.
Well, this comes as a surprise to me since I always thought that uBlock Origin is the most powerful one of all.

I think that's a method that beginners rarely do, even if they just write the name of the site, it won't show up as a fraud report in Google search, for example, beginners will definitely type 1xbit and they won't find a link to this forum about 1xbit scam, I've done searches many times. google but it doesn't write the word SCAM, it will lead me to information about the site and their site unless there are already lots of reports everywhere, maybe when you do a google search maybe 1xbit Scam will start to appear.

Beginners who play carefully will usually find out more before playing such gambling and will tend to escape from fraudulent sites, but if beginners just join in because they see advertisements or promotions, they will usually be more likely to be trapped on fraudulent sites, so that's why It's important to remind people outside this forum of the dangers of this site out there, for example creating an article about the fraud that this site is committing might help add to the 1xbit scam search list in Google searches.

It is weird, because I recall some months ago someone commented that due to our participations here in the forum about how this casino selectively scams their gamblers, some links to Bitcointalk started to appear in one of the first results in the Google search engine... Perhaps, there was some resetting on the results or the person who pointed out what I am saying did not only search for "1xbit" on Google, but also included the search term "scam" or anything like that.

Maybe there is no search results which makes a reference to the shady nature of the casino, because 1xbit used their funds and personnel to push up to the first column of results webpages which are mostly favorable for them to continue to deceive people who do not know better. It is a matter of traffic and engagement and I could picture them spending some money on it for their nefarious plans.

Also, depending on whom you ask using adblocking features could be a good idea, I remember to have seen a documentary film where there were young people who liked to have recommended products in their social media and YouTube. To each their own, I guess.
Alot of times, we are forced to accept some things because many of the scan platforms already know how to target their audience and put their shit in the face of people at some point but then also we have to be proactive enough to be able to detect that kind of shade deals that are being promoted over the internet and with the intent to scam us at some point in time.

Ads blocking helps sometimes but much more helpful is the place of self-restrictions and control over the internet and being able to guide your activities and not fall into the hands of scammers due to promotions that they put forward at some point in time.

It just takes some common sense to bust most of the scam attempts being pushed through massive and targeted advertisement. If something seems to be too good to be true, the it is likely indeed to be a scam. One cannot longer to trust Google or any big corporation to correctly filter the content they are promoting, the fact they have allowed literal scams to be broadcast for hours on YouTube (the typical stream or Elon Musk alledgely doubling whatever you send to their address, and their copycats), only shows their disregard for their users.
I do not have anything against those who decided to use adblockers, I have personally met people who had grown tired of too many ads being piled up one on another one.

In the case of 1xbit, it would be difficult for a newbie to spot their shady Modus operandi, without going though doing their own research, as they are supposed to.

Maybe you are not being hit by the algorithm of advertisement anymore. I'm using adblockers to remove temptations and also to not see annoying advertisement like 1xbit. I agree that 1xbit trying to revive their reputation by conducting a signature campaign here would be their worst idea given that all of the members of their campaign are being red tagged and it helped spread to the forum that they are scammers. Their marketing team should be in vain after seeing the results. They can't reclaim their reputation anymore, too many forum members is aware how notorious they are in scamming people. If somehow they want to become a legit casino, it would be better to just create a whole brand new casino and advertise in this forum. Though I doubt that they have that kind of intention.
Once you block ads by clicking on disable ads then you will not be able to see any ads but it is not a solution as they are not very annoying. For the ads of the campaign 1xbit has stopped it. And for the negative trust users who participated in the campaign are responsible. Before getting the negative tag they warned at the beginning but they still joined as they were not able to get joining on any fresh campaign.
From the look of things with those accounts that promoted this scam casino in the past, it was obvious that, many of those accounts are already tagged with various offences and since the 1xbit casinos signature campaign was targeted to do it by force, those set of members became the available tool in their hands to use in other to promote their company here in the forum.
Even at that also, their still Fail in that regards and for sure, their have to park up and leave when they discovered that there was no way for them to keep promoting the site here, even when they were warn that bitcoin talk members have zero tolerance for scam and we bust them at all cost if need be, in other to keep our forum safe and free from platforms that doesn't aim for users satisfactions.

The Internet has become a major medium for many scammers to deliver any scam to people quickly. And this internet is used as an opportunity by shady sites like 1xbit to continue their activities, because they know how to reach gamblers through advertising.

Gamblers who know how to use adblocker are actually smart enough to stay away from gambling sites like 1xbit. 1xbit actually targets those gamblers who are new here, they have very little knowledge about how these gambling websites operate, which is why sites like 1xbit continue to generate their revenue and continue their operations.

The more advertisements that are displayed on crypto sites, whether they are block explorer sites or other sites, beginners will definitely see them, especially gamblers, they will definitely try to visit them with the lure of big bonuses that will enable people to try playing there, currently maybe in the bitcointalk forum. they can no longer get traffic from the community because it has been marked as a dangerous site but we can't guarantee that outside this forum, crypto site owners out there should get information about this site too. victims will continue to increase from outside this forum
One thing about advertisement is that people always care much about how much a company is winning to spend to advertise their brand and not necessarily the reputation of that company. Take for instance in this very forum as majority of the forum users have already known that 1xbit is a scam company, even if they return to promote in this forum with a good amount of money, you will still see many forum users who will sacrifice their accounts to promote them because of the bucks of dollar they will bring to the table. That is exactly what happens with those blockchain explorers and other sites that 1xbit advertises on. They do little or no research about the company since the age of the domain is old enough they will assume that they are sincere and keep advertising them to get the money.
Yes, in this case too I no longer see 1xbit ads on blockchain sites and on several other crypto sites, but maybe I will find it somewhere else, maybe you are right that they didn't do any research what is on their mind is how they install advertising in crowded places including in this forum, where previously they held a signature campaign advertisement but it seemed like they wasted money in vain because their site had been marked on this forum.

Supposedly if they want to restore a little of their reputation, maybe they can make things better as long as they are willing to resolve every existing case and their accusations in this forum, but it seems that 1xbit has no intention of doing that because it seems like they also know that it would be useless to do that because of the public's trust in This forum has certainly gone downhill on this site. Even then, they should also realize that the signature campaign they carried out previously was really in vain.  Grin

When im really that not liking on receiving any ads then this is where i do make use of Brave browser specially into those ads which arent really that something comes into a point that they are irritating.
So far i havent been able to encounter 1xbit ads which i do mostly seen on Youtube ads but now i havent seen them though on which means that they had stopped out on running one?
No they havent for sure, it is really just that they might really that go into other path in terms of marketing on which it would really be that understandable that they would really be doing
marketing in other mediums because if they would be considering out on running one into this forum then it would really be that totally pointless or they are just basically wasting up
their money or allocation for marketing since members of this forum would really be totally be going against them.

It is really just that sad that there would really be still noobs who do really get fooled by this site. They do really making that selective scamming into its users on which it is really just that sad
that they are really that doing such stuff and they have that shit reputation into this forum alone. They cant make out such that good exposure
into this place because community does know on what they are.

I believe they actually could have that exact intention, to be honest. I do not recall the details, but I believe the team of the casino tried to present some project of a casino or service here in Bitcointalk, trying to hide any association with this already infamous casino. Luckily some members dug deeper and found some connections between that new service and 1xbit.  I do not recall exactly where it was or when, since I only read the surface of the thread/accusation.
Keeping that precedent in mind, then it would not be a surprise to me if they tried again to come back and try to increase their reputation under a different name and domain, for the sake of increasing the volume before starting to selectively scam again. I don't know.
To me it is clear they have already given up on being an honest service, a long time ago.

We cannot tell what they are feeling because we are not the victim  and we even do not know what or where he needs that money , some of them are relying on that only win and being scammed is almost a suicide for them so lets be with their burden .

it is frustrating for sure knowing that you entrusted your money and risked in gambling only to find out that this is a one way street in which you can deposit but will never have the chance to withdraw.

This scam site is a trap for every gambler that you can enjoy playing while you are losing but not when you starts to win against them.
I know very well how felt when we fall on any scam and that is why I am sorry for those who have been scammed. But I hate those who invest on gambling sites and need to suicide if the fund is being scammed. If the fund is not being scammed and lost on the gambling than what could happen then? Still need to do suicide! In this case, the person should stay away from investing in the gambling. Gambling amount should be like that amount which we can afford if we loss.
Sad to hear that from you man , I know how much have you suffered from scams since you opened your lending service ,
there are large amount that have been taken from you all these years yet you stand strong and continued your service from there and that I must salute you mate.

Hoping that OP will find His way also to admit this situation and make things with another option in life because like what
all the victims experienced ? they never even get their deposit amount .

They already stopped promoting here and for your kind information, they are not fools that they will take negatively trusted users to promote their site. They took only those negatively trusted users who have received negative trust for taking part in their signature campaign of them.
You clearly don't know much about them. They stop their promotions and restart them later on randomly which is why we cannot say with 100% certainty that they permanently ended their promotions within this forum.

Also, they are definitely foolish since they mostly rely on worthless accounts that spam like crazy for quick bucks. Think!

@Hospiljok has been bringing forth his issue frequently in this thread since the last couple of months despite members telling him that his hard work in this regard is useless, but I understand his frustrations.

He is just prolonging his suffering sadly since the 1xbit team aren't even checking this thread regularly. Sad!

This scam site is a trap for every gambler that you can enjoy playing while you are losing but not when you starts to win against them.

The lesson for those who are scammed from 1xbit is that they should always first get the reviews and feedback of the gambling site creditability and only then deposit funds in that site. In this case, we will be saved in 95% cases, where we will not deposit in such scam sites.

Also, if any such casino is offering a lot of bonuses and offers, we should not be greedy about that because the scam sites will only create such events so more people are attracted towards them and they can scam more money.

But I hate those who invest on gambling sites and need to suicide if the fund is being scammed. If the fund is not being scammed and lost on the gambling than what could happen then? Still need to do suicide!

If the gambler put high position sizes in his games and bets, then no matter the site is scam or honest, he will most probably lose the money and the scam site will have little part to play in his loss. The loss in gambling cannot be blamed on the gambling site, it is only if they stop the withdrawals and other things that qualifies as a scam site.
