It very easy to spot shady companies on Reddit, Twitter, and other social media, what they do is to create a promotion and then limit the comments to only the ones they approve and that is a violation of the right of the followers to drop their honest reviews about their services.

1xbits have a bad reputation and they are aware of it that if they allow users to comment on their promotion threads there will receive negative comments and for that, they will limit the comments their receive.

Sometimes it is not that easy, though.
If the company is big enough and is very willing to further keep their facade of legitimacy, they could be as far as keeping the comments enabled, but have an army of bots leaving customized positive reviews and comments, so the negative ones would be way harder to find to any newcomer trying to do their own research, and unfortunately, in the advance of artificial intelligence, it may become more difficult in the future to tell whether a message is actually a human leaving a good review or a machine...

You are right that 1xbit knows that if they allow commenting then those who became scammed, harassed, and who are aware of the scam can arise their voice by commenting on their social media pages and so on. This is the wrong way for them they could solve the issue instead of blocking if they did that then they would not face the problem.
Well, for me though, nothing is as annoying as having some issues with a service, and when i go the social media of that service to complain and possibly get help, i discover that they company applied a limit to the type of people that can comment, like what we see on twitter most of the time, where some companies will limit comments on their tweet to only those they follow, and when you check to see who they are following, you discover they are following no one, its indeed one of the ways by which shady companies expose themselves..

Anyways, concerning 1xbit, gambler still find out they are scam through various ways aside comments on their social handles, so if they are like limiting comments on their post, it was really a waste of time for them if you ask me.

Instead of rebranding, it's better to restore their name on this forum by slowly resolving all existing cases that are directed at them, I think it's an easier way than rebranding, which will cost money and effort and also attract people's trust to play, even though cases can be resolved by them does not rule out the possibility that it can make everyone feel unsafe playing here. it would be hard to believe again.
They will never restore their name since they don't really care about their reputation anymore in this forum if you think about it. This is also why they stopped responding to complaints against them within this thread.

They are probably working on alternate scam sites at present since they have the money and resources to do so.
It is practically impossible for 1xbit to restore their reputation in the forum. Their reputation is spoilt irreparably and there is nothing they can do about it. Even if they reappear and start solving all the cases they have had for years, which I know they cannot do, they will not be trusted again in the forum. Majority of the forum users will say they are preparing an exit scam.
The best thing to do is to re-start under a new domain and forget about scamming and face a real business because. This gambling business is lucrative for people that has the capital.

Even if they do rebranding still their past reputation will haunt them.

I think all the campaigns that they have even the advertisements out there are not all successful even like a waste of time it doesn't produce anything because their site has a red flag that people in this forum know that it is a dangerous site and everyone should avoid it so as not to lose money .

Rebranding, opening new spaces on social media and doing advertisement campaigns is actually cheaper than trying to go back to be an honest service which people can trust.

Also, I have got the impression their advertisement campaigns launched in the past have been targeted towards newbies and people who are not fully aware of the reputation they have, for example, you can check up their Reddit page and while the continued to advertise promos and contests there, they also blocked users from posting in their threads and deleted posts warning others about the selective scamming.

Even under a new brand, they will continue to do the same as usual.

I agree. 1XCorp N.V. has at least a dozen online casinos (info from Wikipedia). They're probably making new ones all the time, but I doubt they'll shut down any of the ones that work. Why kill the cash cow?!

It's hard to see the perspective of 1xbit marketing team as they are obviously doing the opposite. They are trying to improve their reputation in this forum despite that everyone knows that they are totally a scam casino. It would be easier to just rebrand and focus on doing legit things rather than spending their money on worthless advertisement. A negative publicity isn't as effective as on other industry where negative publicity is still publicity.
It's not easy to rebrand and continue to maintain their reputation because outside of this forum the promotions they do are quite massive and many of their advertisements appear on sites that have something to do with crypto.
And actually, if they really want to turn their business into one that can be trusted, just stop all the fraudulent actions that they are doing and also stop promoting using the accounts of members of this forum which clearly give a bad impression on their gambling site.
Unfortunately even when they coming again in this forum a few years ago and promised to fix the issues they weren't consistently done they only did it a few times after that it reverted to an attitude that hurt a lot of their players, and outside of this forum they still get a lot of players because of those promotions and new players can't tell how reliable this casino is.

Even if they do rebranding still their past reputation will haunt them.

If they change their name for sure there are users here will report there new name and create another warning so its still useless if they do that since still they cannot penetrate back in this forum.

Although maybe they can fool people outside and get an impression that they are good casino but for sure once those dudes will do a research they can see those accusations posted against 1xbit.
I think they are still strong with their ego centric, they will always do everything possible to fix it, but I agree that it will be useless, because the red flag will always be attached to the name of their platform, even though today they want to try to improve the name in the forum This they will only waste money and time, except for new people who enter, but they will also leave after finding out.

Maybe the best way in my opinion, is to build an initial casino, and the team overhauled everything, as if 1xbit never existed in them, if it really worked fairly and honestly, but yes to build it was not easy because it had to start popularity and reputation They from the beginning with a new platform, they must have a complex design, and not to be related to 1xbit both from the structural team and others.

Really useless if they rebrand and promote again their casino in this forum since doing that cannot erase their negative actions made here.
Maybe on other platform out of this forum they can get new player to try their new rebranded casino, but here there reputation is so damage and I don't think there are veteran gamblers would take a risk on the new things done to their casino. They are actively running some ads so its not surprising anymore if they can compromise new people outside.

Not sure if you  checked because the last time I check(Just NOW) he is still wearing their Signature

 https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/og-kush420-142531

so i think it is reasonable for me to ask this about if the campaign is still paying them as of their Loyalty.
The user is offline since 17th July 2023. If participants of the campaign still hold the signature doesn't mean they are getting a weekly reward as they have no/will have no alternative way as they will not be accepted on any other campaign. As they cant join on other they may promote the scam voluntarily.
correct as those account has nothing to go joining so by chance they are keeping the signature so once this scam team decide to run another signature they will have a opportunity to be chosen priority.
they are just waiting for the signal and surely will go active once again.
I have no update when did the signature stopped but since the person wearing that signature is offline since July mid , meaning it also ended near that day.

It still sounds weird to me a casino which already has a bad reputation decided to pay for something which could not help their reputation at any meaningful way and even giving the task to someone else, when editing a Wiki page is something anyone can do with an account (assuming the page does not have any kind of protection, though).
It's just an assumption on my part though. It's a small possibility indeed, but it's a possibility nevertheless. Another possibility is that he edited it in order to try and gain more incentive from their team.

The way he got caught was hilarious and I will never forget that wild situation. His silly justification was even more hilarious.

To this day I wonder whether he decided to edit the Wikipedia page by his own or he was instructed to do so by other people in a higher position. Because to me, it does not sound normal some participant of a signature campaign would be willing to go out their way to defend the casino they promote, in such specific way.
I think they promised him some extra incentive or something if he finished that task successfully since I don't think he was a devoted follower of 1xbit based on what I observed though I could be wrong.

Anyways, I knew he got banned, which is quite rare considering the policies of this forum and they way so many scammers are left to roam around.
As I mentioned in my previous post, he got banned by breaking one or more forum rules(Not because he advertised 1xbit).

I was aware they cannot be banned for promoting anything, by the way.
This may be one of the most opened forums when comes to freedom of speech.

Bitcoin is GOD
maybe they are thinking of a new strategy but they will still be a scam casino because all the efforts they are making do not change the way they do business by continuing to steal the money of the players
maybe ,  as they don't find this forum to be making them having another set of victims and indeed they  may looking for New strategy to get what they wanted and also they might be looking for other area when they can lure more gamblers and valued for how much they are spending .
and also their marketing team find it not worthy to spend money here in Bitcointalk as there are so much accusation they are facing and they cannot prove them wrong.

Even if they leave the forum now they cannot escape its influence, if you make a search about 1xbit with terms related about this casino being a scam, this forum will come close to the top of the results and people will find out what they have been doing against innocent victims for years.

However it is also possible this is nothing more but a strategy they are employing and they may wait until the bull market appears to return to the forum in the hopes of scamming even more people.
