Answer and face all the complaints first then have a campaign , because this action will never bring any positive effect to your company and besides you are just bringing more issues to arise from neglecting their cases .

We should stop hoping that users would always do the right or ethical thing, a lot of users do not really bother about the status of the campaign they're advertising or its effect on the community, the yobit campaign is an example that comes to mind. Ixbit fix your pending issues rather than trying to buy over support of the community.
