People in the other thread are making out like it's something more suspicious like people are trying to find out your addresses etc. Not sure how that would work any way.

 you got a link?

got 2 deposits also. its not 100s its thousands of addresses they are sending to
I have used this wallet only once previously ??

yeah so they just got our addresses off the blockchain.

trying to get us to watch sochi? when i traced it back i came accross a transaction that had Win 4 BTC on it so maybe its the same guys?

If they were advertising something surely they could've gone about it a bit better.

yeah maybe its just a bit of fun mixed in with a bit of advertising.

which is very nice and whoever it is has obviously sent to 100's of addresses.

But what has me is this is a paper wallet address which should have never reached the internet and I am wondering where he has gotten my public address from?

could anyone help?

also got it... but my adress is not public  Huh

Have you used it for anything? I've only used my one for payment from my PD sig, so they either got it from this forum or the blockchain.

The blockchain is public... if you've sent BTC to that address, then it's public.

I got one from Sochi, but what are they advertising exactly?

Advertising their site/services. When you get a weird TX like this, naturally you follow the source which redirects you to their site.

Where are the Enjoy Sochi ones coming from?

Perfect Example!

Perfect example of what?  Huh

My reddit link about double spending attempts

I'm still lost. So what are the Enjoy Sochi spammers actually trying to do?
