Curious how PPS works with merged mining, do you get paid both a portion of the NMC and the BTC blocks for each share?

Also do you plan on letting us convert BTC to NMC? I see you have NMC to BTC so wondering if you would do the reverse for the folks who want NMC more than BTC.

Davinci, did you get the msg about the much needed update to namecoind? http://dot-bit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2182#p2182

That goes for anyone else that may be solo mining or mining thru namecoind at some of the smaller pools as well.....
Yes, and I have updated all my servers. I have been up 48hrs fixing nmcbit.com because of the missing blocks i'm going to sleep now.

  rest well, m8

  Cheers

It's 4:46 am EST and it's time for me to wake up and get ready for work I have not slept but I have set up the server to pay out on the missing blocks including orphaned blocks.  Yeah I could of easily switched wallets and gone to bed, no one would be the wiser but I'm not banker (aka thief who gets away with it) I'm a hard worker like you are, and I want you to get paid for everything you worked for.

Also I my moral logic states that if I steal from you then you have every right to steal from me and this is destructive not productive.  Sure bankers have done well but in the end, theft can not sustain it's self.

Anyhow it will take some time to pay out in the mean time stats will be FUBAR as I made pay outs a priority over stats.
NOTE:
You will not see any PPS payouts until the block dated 2011-10-16 14:53:39 is paid.

The bug at NMCBIT was caused because I had the same wallet on many servers.

For some reason both bitcoin and namecoins don't like this and they go out of sink and we did not see blocks found by the main server.  I tested this and it seemed fine but I guess once the difficulty changed and I add another server node caused it to go out of sink just when it stopped working.

Anyhow the blocks are all there in a wallet, I am working on paying them out.  However the stats are forever messed up as blocks we thought took hours only took minutes.

If you where on PPS this did not effect you but proportional guys will get paid for these missed blocks.

Sorry for this bug and I am working all night to fix it.

Can you check your calc on the NMC PPS
Statiictics show total shares submitted 621: Total NMC earned:  0.30818236NMC

It should be around: 1.22 NMC

The difficulty went up and the new PPS is 0.0004962679032267

This adjustment is automatic.

Bummer, that explained why the last 4-5 blocks took a few hours.  lol shiit do happen over nite,

Thought so and yeah someone has too, christ you just don't how much I hate banks no good scumbags that goes for pretty much all of them.

Same here!

Going back to topic of slimy pools, I don't know if know this but slush and Nodemaster of MasterPool.eu tricked me into mining on the wrong block chain when there was an attack on the namecoin network.  If you read the thread starting here....
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.527727
You will see what kind of person NodeMaster is.

I don't know how he operates his pool but we shall see.

Anyhow my objective is to not only create a good pool but to allow others to create great pools I currently help anyone who asks how I did it because the more pools their are the stronger the network.

I was going to give away the technology but I have decided to franchise it once I have a complete solution.  I have a great idea that I believe will put me on top.  The problem is I don't know if it will work but I will try.

Thanks I plan to automate it payout value but I am trying to think up a formula that will detect market manipulation.  As for my integrity, a read of this thread will show you that I have worked very hard to insure that do what I say and I am more than fair as I can be.

My word is like gold to me, I will always be honest and fair.

Davinci

Your welcome I think similarly myself you make a deal you stick to it cost me money a few times but that is all a person has really is his word and I can see that in you from reading this thread the times it popped up and I noticed it and am pretty sure you have dug into your pockets a couple of times to keep this namecoin thing going, too bad Slush was such a little prick and screwed over everyone who did this merged mining right. I think if it had been different you could have had a decent payout that IMHO you rightly deserved as it is now really everyone else gets to pick up the crumbs and to tell you the truth I don't understand how he seems to get a pass on that behavior.

Edit: As an interesting aside you were one of the first hits I had when I started looking into this bitcoin thing months ago with your videos on youtube at least I think that avatar picture looks like the fellow I seen there..
Yep that's me DavinciJ15 on youtube is me as well.  Trying to fight the good fight against banksters.

What is the confirmed blocks required before crediting prop btc payouts ?
Currently my system pays out right after a block is found for both BTC prop and PPS.
HOWEVER, the system is bit slow and I am working on a solution to speed that up.  This new solution will take me some time to code so you will need to put up with the slowness for now.

If you where not paid for the last block please let me know as I did reduced the slowness but my code may had a bug I was not aware of.

That works for me at least you tell people what is going on and actually have payouts unlike other weasel pools I could mention in this merged mining thing. Thanks for doing it not a bad little setup you have going on and really like the convert to BTC option much better than having to go to an exchange to do it especially for those who do not want/can not install the client on the machine.

Nah I got paid was just curious about the confirmation period required Smiley

Hehe, Davinci loves his pool very much and I can see the little bead of sweat roll down his forehead any time we ask something like that.  Cheesy

Davinci, your pool is running just fine, m8! And, as far as payouts go yours is one of the fastest from proof to payout that I have been on. And, I've mined at a LOT of pools!

  Cheers

Not real sure how many confirms he requires but your account updates once per hour.  My credits from the prop round that just finished showed on my account with only a few confirms on the block.

NMCBIT pays out when a block is found however it's not working out very well I will be working on fixing that over the next few weeks.
