Hey guys! I have $2000 i want to invest for 3-4 months... maybe more based on your advice. Where and When should i invest and for how long should i invest in altcoins? Any help would be appreciated. 
if i become you. I will invest for eth and altcoin which are cheaper than ripple and bch. there are many altocoin cheaper than the ripple and bch prices. you can search from some altcoins that have great potential in the future.
I would advise you to invest in Bitcoin Cash 80%, this coins seems going to increasing, i don't know about the issue, but seems some people disappointed about Bitcoin stuck network nowadays and start to buying BCH. Else 20%, you can buying XRP.
Ripple rises faster than Ethereum but I think Ethereum is a more reliable investment tool. It's a really difficult decision.
Just invest on ethereum coins because today the value is keep on increasing and it is easier to invest on altcoins which is ethereum because it is cheaper and it is good for trading and that is the best reason why you should invest this profitable coin.
I would split between Ethereum and XRP and hold for long term. XRP must do 10X to USD in 2018. Ethereum will be following BTC path.
Why do not you want to buy a few coins? This would reduce risks and increase the profit opportunity.

right now ripple is the good coin to invest today the price of ripple is rising up until 50%, it makes me sure that this coin is good. i think i you hold the ripplecoin right now it will rising up in the next week
better to invest in BCH because BCH is a young generation of BTC, so the price will definitely increase as BTC going forward
i think investing in both Ethereum and Ripple is very profitable, both altcoins are rising with very high speed and may reach more and more in next year, big profit we earn from both altcoins can be much more than just investing bitcoin.
Invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum since it is going to be for between 3-4 months. These are the two major and widely accepted coins and fast rising coins.
I would not suggest you to invest in ETH or BCH because its prices are very high right now, so you can wait for a correction and make a long-term investment in Ripple. I think that next year will be very important for this coin.
I suggest you Ripple if you want to go with ALT coin.because Ripple have more potential to rise and presently it's start growing up side. For long term investment Ripple is best.

I highly suggested that you should invest in bitcoins because eth coins is more popular today and there are a lot of people who are investing on it and very interested even though the value is slowly increasing but the good thing about it is that it is consistently increasing its value in the market that's why it is profitable and good to invest.
If you are looking to put 2k into one altcoin i would recommend ETH. Otherwise i also recommend splitting it around a bit. Do some research and find what you like, follow the crypto-news and try to predict the market.
Ethereum would be hard player to beat, only BTC is better, it has all atributes to develop as blockchain platform and currency, so i would stick with Ethereum. I do not see Ripple as a winner.
you better buy a coin that is still cheap, so when the price goes up then the profit will be more, I need you to buy coin NXT, because it is still cheap and has a price to go up
