Let's get Tom Woods, the rockstar Austrian economic historian who I believe is friends with the antiwar.com people, to look into Bitcoin. If he came onboard he'd become the best public speaker Bitcoin ever had.

I asked him a while back if his libertyclassroom or w/e would accept bitcoins and he dismissed it as more hassle than it's worth or because it's in a legal gray area, I can't remember why exactly, but he is no fan.

Hoo-boy! One day reddit's going to love Bitcoin and defend it as the currency of the internet. If there's one thing reddit loves to do, it's single out someone in need and surprise them with a shower of gifts and donations. Bitcoin makes this way easier.

EDIT: Whoah, big-ass donations coming their way already: http://blockchain.info/address/1M87hiTAa49enJKVeT9gzLjYmJoYh9V98

I expected to see a lot more. The Australian TOR node exit node operator got 220+ in a few days.

I've started a 10 BTC bounty to get Antiwar to prominently accept Bitcoin on their donation page.

Always a good day to start accepting bitcoins (and to stop murdering people in faraway places).

Great first step!

I hope Antiwar eventually does like Wordpress and publishes a piece on the moral case for Bitcoins, not just as a donation mechanism and privacy safeguard, but also as the ultimate pacifist currency.  Given that most wars are currently funded by debt and debasement, anyone truly opposed to state-sponsored violence can only have a clean conscience if they hold their savings in neutral money such as Bitcoin or precious metals.  State-issued cash and bonds directly fund military budgets, and therefore it's not an exaggeration to say that anyone using vehicles such as USD for savings or transactions has a little bit of blood on their hands.

You can't stop the signal
The Website may only be the 23,581 largest website but its value is much greater to me.

The address is listed in the post if you would like to help this great organization with a few BTC.

Or give them a bump on Reddit, http://redd.it/13wsmo
