Since the mods deleted the post where I said what I really feel, I'll tone it down a teeny bit:

Mark honestly deserves prison time. He's broken the terms of his own website's TOS and is fraudulently withholding millions of dollars of bitcoin from their rightful owners - that's grand theft.

If you had all the bitcoins and someone said "Do you have all the bitcoins"...would you:

A) Say "Yes"

B) Try to run into your office building

It's 100% obvious that gox is fractional...the question is how fractional.

perhaps he has a company to deal with and doesn't want to bother with that particular person because he's no different then anybody else in his situation. in mark's position he has better things to do than deal with nonstop criticism. like get shit done. just sayin

You have a guy that flew from the other side of the world just to ask you if you still have all your customers coins. It takes less than 10 seconds to say "Yes, all your funds are safe. Excuse me, I have a busy day working on fixing the situation."

Instead, Mark Karpeles just ignores the guy and nervously tries to get away. I think that is extremely telling of Gox either being insolvent or Mark Karpeles being the absolute worst frontman for a company. Or both.

Learning the troll avoidance button :)
This is a nuke waiting to happen I have pretty much settled it as not of a matter of if but a matter of when with Gox
Unfortunately I do hope that I am proven wrong because it is unfair to those who used Gox for the exchanges to gamble with their bitcoins

Guy has come all the way from UK and standing in the snow to ask where his money is; in a non-aggressive manner (does not yell or threaten) and CEO does not even give him the time of day...that's is pretty bad form.

You hit it right on the head. This is extremely bad form and he's lucky things didn't escalate further. Mark had one impromptu chance to show the world how he would deal with this once it got to his doorstep and this was his reaction for the world to see.

This is only the beginning and it will only get worse. I can't believe no one is telling this guy to get his act together because someone is going to end up setting him straight one way or another.

If I had any sort of balance that I used to still in my MTGOX acct, you better believe I would be over there demanding all of my BTC. At this point it's not a wait and see anymore, if someone walks into the HQ they should be able to transfer their coin out immediately.

I would expect better when going that far.

If he were honest then the first thing he'd do is what Bitstamp have done with their what was it? DDOS attack? Shut the whole damn thing down so people don't lose any money, get it all properly fixed and back up again, however MTGOX hasn't done this and they continue to fuck about with other peoples' money and if any of you are like me and have a good memory for this sort of thing there were plenty of complaints about the way MTGOX operated before all this shit happened.

I'd feel sorry for him if he was honest and trying to correct the problem but he's pulling the kind of shit that the Cyprus banks pulled back when they collapsed, just remember folks, once your Bitcoins leave your computer or storage device they are not yours.

I also noticed that in the midst of all of this exchanges like Vircurex have been running without any problems that I can see.

Look, we all hate the guy but let's not lower ourselves to trollbox level and make fun of his weight. I do fancy a good trollbox session now and then, but saying something cruel for a brief moment is totally different than writing in a forum post that is saved online indefinitely. Didn't really think that Litecoinguy would go for such a low blow.

Can we make fun of his hair of the frappuchino? I do feel a bit sorry for him though... I think.

Haha, they could've at least brought some blueballs to sit on. Although they probably had them themselves stood outside in that weather  Grin.
