My friend from Russia told me, that one bar, I don't remember the name of it, but maybe it was "Killfish", accepted bitcoin earlier, before Central Bank created the statement, in which bitcoin was announced like something illegal.
So, I suppose it's pretty easy to make bitcoin-using process imposible if you are Russia.

Has the United States been more accepting of Bitcoin than Russia?  That's the idea I get and it's surprising.

Even though the US is in the hand of banksters the USD is still the reserve currency and has all to gain from being exchangeable for as many things as possible including other currencies such as euros, bitcoins, rubbles, oil, drugs, large laundered assets and dictator accounts*.  Until bitcoin becomes much, much larger, there is no actual incentive form the point of view of the USD to fight it. Maybe that's a reason.

The rubble is a whole different game.

I was the one who thought that Russia is not so bad as it seems to be. But after that article I changed my mind, and I can't stop asking myself - how they can be so, hmmm, stupid? Looks like Russia decided to end it's days of glory and become a sort of poor counry, where noone wants to try something new, which, can actually save them.  Angry
