This man is a jerk. Doesn't matter to me he has earned on this or not but he has children. Let your life at risk but expose children he has no right. In fact, a lot of people. But they are smarter. They got a Bank loan and have long pagali them due to the rising prices of bitcoin. It's too risky, but their children do not live in the camp. Probably such cases will be greater because a lot of people made bitcoin God and pray to him.

this dude is too much of a gambler,at least he made the news and is famous now
I saw his and his family's pucture,he looks slightly inadequate Smiley
but he is the one who is laughing now,all the way to the bank,or exchange
you don't get a 100%+ increase on your investments in under 3 months
so his all-in paid off

He is pretty crazy.
Im thought that i was crazy because i took almost all my money, sold my car and some goods and bought BTC. But im fine living in a apartment with my wife and child. If BTC raises like some sources says we will be very well within 2~3 years, but i know the risky of BTC fail, if it happens, i just move on like im doing now.

He has made some money in the last few days, but I would still describe his decision as stupid. In the end, what matters is not the outcome but how risky your decision was. His decision was definitely fool hardy.

Stripping down from their worldly belongings is a commendable move but they have 3 children. They could have bought a smaller and simpler house and make themselves more comfortable. I reckon that they are taking too much risk, we do not know when the next bitcoin boom is.

I would not say it is a commendable move. It is a wild gamble. With 3 children, it is an irresponsible move as well. If somebody who madly supports Brazil in football bets his house on Brazil, people would condemn it. I don't think this is any different.
Not commendable at all. He's crazy. Really, how much would it cost them to rent a flat and not make the children go through all this? He sold the house, the car, bikes and stuff, isn't it enough? He could buy a lot of coins and still leave that $10k instead of spending it all like a madman.

But in a few months he will be several times richer. Sometimes you need to take risks for the good of the family and children. I think he had a spare pariah. And so he acted so boldly. I admire such people

It is not first time when this family sells everything to come their dream come true. They succeed with travelling around the world trip and now they invested in bitcoin. It's all remind me the film "The Bucket List"  Smiley I wish them all the best in reaching of this target, but I, honestly, doubt that they stayed without anything for "the black day", cause of they may simply become homeless if the plan not succeed.

He trusted bitcoin much more than the comfort of his family is the worst decision that every bitcoiners must avoid. It’s not a healthy investments at all but using this strategy will result in mental disorders or incapacity to cognitive reasoning.

Time and time again there also be a limitations to bitcoin investments and this signs shows how money/profit addiction might put us on a bad light/situation. Hoping he will win in this game or suffer the consequences of the risk he takes.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
Even children's toys? Really? How much would those be worth? IMO he's crossing so many lines here, making their family live on some camping field like hobos for months while he's investing. What about the obvious risks? You have a lot of money stored on your computer, but you don't even have a fence, no doors, no safe? What if someone jumps out of the nearby bushes and decides grab some of your stuff? What if your kids get sick? I wouldn't go that far, just switching from a house to an apartment would be enough for me.

Listing a house for 85BTC (400,000$+ atm) indicates that this person have some money at the first place. Instead of gambling with what he can afford to lose, he gables with everything he owns. There are no words to describe his stupidity.

There are other examples of people that have done that. One of they is a Canadian. He has made a post here and has sell his home 4 years ago. He is rich now.

With the current surge in price of bitcoin breaking first 5k mark and now close to 5700$ in just a span of a day is a huge upward movement. This would have made huge gains to all the people who bought at the dip of 3000$ and also to this guy who sold his home and invest . Today he would have made a huge money which a reward for his huge - huge risk.

Well, at the moment, he is now more rich than yesterday cause the increment in the last day, so maybe he did it in the correct time and is not as crazy as people is thinking Wink
I hope that he could make your dreams come true because if this happened, all of us could be happy too xD

Instead of risking it all he could of invested like 25% hes really looking for attention by doing this but he has three kids he should really be more sensible.

maybe he is doing the opposite, selling a% of his earnings.

Dump it!!!
I hope he has a backup plan should things go south because there is no way someone can go all in when every investment has its own risk and rule of thumb never put your eggs in one basket, I hope this high risk move will reward him handsomely.

I respect his bravery but he does have children look after and should really be putting them first and teaching them to not rely on one thing in life.
Totally agree his compromising his children's future at the expense of wanting to make money, hope his goals are not too extreme to punish his family.

Maybe they would be rich in year 2020 or the other way around may happen. I would say their move is too risky given that he has three children. This is what it means to have high risk, high reward move. If bitcoin thus continue to rally in the years to come then his decision is right but if bitcoin then would lose its steam then he would just find a way to live with anything left with them. Though I wanted to believe that his decision is right, still he should have a back up plan in case luck is not on their side in the future.

Jesus, in my opinion in the short term he just destroyed his children's future. In the long run okay, but this is nuts.

Yeah, this can be seen as a form of child abuse. Anyways, I'm hearing more and more stories about people who are investing aggressively in Bitcoin as they've missed the early phase of crypto. Incredibly risky and I'm far too chicken myself to invest even part of my savings into cryptocurrencies. Well, at least this particular guy has some experience with crypto so I assume he doesn't leave his 85 BTC on an exchange or something. Would be a bit disastrous if he gets hacked and ends up being stuck on some camping.

I am really skeptical that anybody should be doing this things especially with your hard money you totally are now depend on btc prices to rise. Though the price has started to rise which is a good sign, but knowing btc volatility it can go down too quickly as well and he can come on road in no time.
And I am not skeptical about the nearest future of this guy. Bitcoin is raising and this is the fact. The guy is going to be in 100% profit in next few months due to Bitcoin is promising to raise to 10000 next year.
I really envy to his brave, but I would not do something the same. he has steel balls to do something like this! I prefer not such risky way, I just putting a percent of my weekly earnings on the side and that's my piggy bank which is getting bigger together with Bitcoin's price.
