2017 is the year of altcoins...

bitcoin will loose it's marketshare due to lack of innovation and real world usage adoption

30mins for confirmation? come on...
i don't think bitcoin has any competition with altcoin in any sense and the way bitcoin is improving day by day. The altcoin is far away from it and i don't think it has loose its marketshare or it is not innovative..... it is much more innovative then any other cryptocurrency thats why it is the most used cryptocurrency in the whole world...

I've been following Bitcoin and the whole crypto-blockchain-scene closely since 2012 and I'm beginning to see overwhelming positive news over the whole spectrum. Has Bitcoin finally overcome its infancy and beginning its teenage and acceptance in the world? Will 2017 be a good year? I think it will, maybe the best so far.

I agree with you, Bitcoin will rise higher on 2017 looking at the analysis of growth in the past 3 days and also early this year but my concern has to do with the delay in transaction confirmations, I think it has to be resolved before I can certainly confirm that it will soar in 2017.

Without the problem fixing and bitcoin will neve being better in this year, I take an example like the spam transactions were happening on yesterday. Does bitcoin still need a lot of the repair? yes, it does.
According from their current price and 2017 is the better year for bitcoin.

I don't think so.. 2016 has seen the rise of many many altcoins and even coins that matched the previous highs of litecoin.

This will be the year of bitcoin. Bitcoin has been stable at much higher levels than in the years before and now itches to blast past the 1000 mark again, this time for a much longer period of time.

Confirmation is just a part of it, for this we cannot define bitcoin has fallen and 2017 to be the year of altcoins. These days the volatility of bitcoin have decreased a lot compared to the altcoins. This makes bitcoin to be the successful digital asset of all time.

well yeah. every year we are one step closer to real mass adoption and each year we hear better news about bitcoin, and hear less negativity about it. specially in the news and the media. and ever since price started moving up again, and went past the ATH and now is trying it again, many are seeing it as a reliable investment too.
but I hope we can see more merchants and more usage as a currency and less as investment.

Funny post, not even a single alt is doing well aside form the random pump and dump, and not a single one is used to purchase stuff like bitcoin

bitcoin is the only currency actually used for what it is, there is no innovation needed on top of what bitcoin offer already(btw anonimity is a feature not an innovation if you compare it to monero..., bitcoin is already innovative enough

Actually marketcap of bitcoin is almost 15 times more than ethereum (second on the list) and talking about real world usage, i haven't seen any store which accept ethereum or monero etc.

Use around 70-80 satoshi per byte of your transaction than it will get confirmed within next block.  Wink
