Yes, I agree with you. Those coins are so potent. But Waves, DCT are also will be the top crypto in 2018. Those coins are also so potential. They have a very strong and promising and strong team. And they also have a big goal. I hope Waves and DCT will hit so high.

Apart from these coins a very generous token which I will suggest is VLB token. It is still in its ICO stage and is all set to rock the market. If you are able to fetch it in pre-ICO you will be able to get it at a very low price. Moreover due to the fact that VLB is a utility token its value will rise in future long term.

Some of these coins have already reached capitalisazions which are too high. I am speaking about Tron, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple, EOS... I think you can find a few more, like BTX, DeepOnion, ZEN...

I think Cryptocurrency is good to note, is Ripple. By the time Bitcoin suffered attacks on external and domestic markets, Ripple continued to experience price increases. The advantage of this coin is its value is not affected by rumors and speculation.

Here are my picks (and the ones I have invested in, but there's a reason why I did).

COSS - decentralized exchange like KuCoin and Binance, but gives back 50% of fees to the holders of COSS coins, in the similar fashion as KuCoin (which will lower its fee share, Binance doesn't offer this). COSS is currently quite undervalued compared to KuCoin and Binance, so there's potential for quite a big growth (10x-15x).

SunContract - Another promising project. Its rival is Power Ledger, which is 10x SunContract market cap. Meanwhile, SN is EU based and has a working project, Power Ledger does not and is Australia based. Another potential for 10x.

Shift - Just recently (31. Dec) released their website on the new decentralzied network. Whitepaper planned for 31. January as well as many other goodies coming in Q1 (https://www.shiftnrg.org/#/roadmap).

Waves - Smart Contract coming in 2018, not sure when but I believe the first half (somewhere in March/April). This will definitely raise the price.

SpectreCoin - This is a high risk, high gain coin. It has great tech, much better than Monero and many other privacy coins. I picked this coin because I believe that governments in 2017 were caught by crypto with their pants down and weren't ready, but will in 2018 crack down on crypto and high tech privacy coins will take off. This is also why I believe decentralized exchanges like COSS will gain value. Spectrecoin has potential for x20+ growth.

I would say XRB, ETH, BTC, XMR, XRP are all hot hot hot.   But in terms of growth potential...  ICX, OMG, VEN, DENT...  Lot's of people shouting Onion...

Good list, but i would change places for ETH and Ripple

I really wondering of your list and don't understand why you didn't put onions at it. Onions have become one of the most promising coins in the cryptocurrencey market, as it has a great potential and it does desirve to be added to any of investing lists in 2018. As for me I invest much of my money and time in it.

all of these altcoins are good and popular but none of them are good for long term investments worthy of any real attention. i prefer focusing mainly on bitcoin itself and have my investment there.

the altcoins you listed are the most famous pump and dump altcoins which makes them riskier investments but profitable. you can see how they got dumped big time when bitcoin dropped.

I think the order in this list depends how much money you have to invest in.

I'm high on etn. Got in at .06 usd, went to .20 at one point, hovers around .16, already back to .11 after the crash. If you have 3 etc, and etc goes up a dollar, you made three dollars.
If you have a thousand of something, and it goes up a nickel, you make 50 dollars.

I would say deep onion will be getting more love from crypto community this year. Also every crypto price rise is almost unpredictable - you never know what can be tomorrow on market. 

I'll first choose ETH, and it's safe to put money in the ETH. I think it's the first thing to keep the money safe. If you want to get high growth, maybe EOS and Monero would be a good choice, expecting an anonymous coin to have an outbreak in 2018.
