Its actually very difficult to put a price as of now we should actually be worried if it will exit next year or no. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge supporter of Bitcoin and will continue collecting them till I can, but suddenly if you see all the country's are up against war with bitcoins, latest being South Korea which is a main hub. Plus most of the Asian countries hate it, especially India and China, USA is our last hope if they ban it's all gone. So for me a downfall of 5k and a high price of 40k is on the cards provided it survives each and every war

I think it will retain on what it is and it can go down a little bit or up. Bitcoin is unstable , no one can tell the exact thing will happen to it. Hopefully bitcoin will be as good as the year 2017 as it coming to 2018. Many things will happen, we'll just wait of the upcoming news about it.

If they could implement lightning network or people will use segwit(?), it could reach 50k at Q2 easily. 2017 was a fun ride for crypto, and I'm pretty sure that this coming year will be too with lots of innovation and improvements in cryptocurrencies in general.

It's also growing at such a fast rate because it has boomed all over social media - there are already memes about it. 2018 is going to be a year for a lot of growth for bitcoin.

I guess bitcoin will continuously increase its value. I saw on historical patterns of bitcoins that every year it is rising its value. And the good news is the bitcoin is getting popular and because of this it affects the prices of bitcoins.

The price will continue to increase as more investors invest a lot of money ... this year was marked by many hard and futures forks, this has caused prices to rise sharply and there are countries like Japan and South Korea that have greatly boosted the increase of price with your adoption. This question has become very funny in my opinion because making price forecasts for bitcoin has become a competition and a way for some people to become very popular on news channels. But leaving that aside, I believe we will reach more than $ 30,000 next year.

No, it will not be decreasing down. I think at the end of the new year first week Bitcoin price will pump again. And it will be increasing so high. Bitcoin will reach $25000 the first time. Now let's see what will happen.

Actually it is hard for us to define what is the future value of bitcoin, because price of this coin was so unpredictable. In my sight lastly it was growing up so fast then lately it was fall down so fast.

However in my speculation I guess bitcoin value were touches $25,000 to $50,000. Unfortunately it was not sure but I think that this coin will become healthy in 2018. So if you have a lot of bitcoin in your wallet it's better if you just hold it for long period of time. Because it gives you a high possibility to earn much income.

For me it doesn't really matter if the price of Bitcoin drops or rises, I keep buying every week to increase my Bitcoin but to answer your questions I believe it's going to atleast $45,000 by the end of 2018. Everytime I guess the price, I keep getting proven wrong and the price ends up being higher than I estimated.

Like most of us here, we want bitcoin to really go up in 2018, But with the current issues that we are facing, it will take a lot of time before it can really took off again. Specially if LN will be implemented to resolved the problems.

I'd like to see the price goes to $30K-$40K. There will be a lot of bumps along the way, just like we see in 2017. Nevertheless, it will rise up again and face those challenges and overcome it at the end, reaching $40K. So everyone, just better hold and invest on it while the price is still cheap at the moment.

I know how it sounds, but I think $100K by then of next year is not really that crazy an idea. Just run the percentages. World Wide demand will be huge. With less than 2% of the population into Bitcoin, but world wide demand increasing exponentially. 5 million BTC being actually traded. Seems to me this points to $50K BTC by June.

I just read this morning that there is a chance that the bitcoin's price will decrease at least 11k but I don't know when although I am optimistic that this will never happen. In fact, he said also that it can go lower and go at 8k and then that is the time that it will shoot up. Maybe by January of February is the time that bitcoin will increase.
