Society is tired of scam projects, as well as cyber and crypto security is a matter of big discussions. So the security tokens will be more spread this year.

I saw a lot of tokens which divided utility and security.
The security for trade and becomes subject for federal regulations.
Utility tokens are created for project's service and not as a investment.
As far as I know, both can trade. You should investigate them in Google.
We can't say that this is the year for security tokens, maybe the begining. Since most of ICOs now are regulated under SEC. Well we can't blame them with millions of complaints around the world regarding multiple fraudulent activities in the crypto space. We can only say it is the year when the time it booms, or it will be fully accepted by the majority of the community of the crypto currencies.
2018 witnessed the arrival of many ICOs, of which the potential for ICO campaigns was only 20%. The remaining 80% are scam ICOs. Saying that 2018 is the year of the security Token is not correct because most ICO projects still use Ethereum's ERC-20 Token technology.
I think I support it. Most utilities tokens hasn't been fulfilling what they are intended to achieve and hence security tokens are more to be taken serious in ones portfolio than any other tokens.
I have heard that to the buzz going around quite strong. Security token holders are entitled to ownership rights that give them a stake in a company's assets so it would be great if it keep on rising this year.
Security is always important, especially in this area. I think that smart contracts will be able to improve the security of transactions in many spheres and will relieve the world of part from intermediaries. This is wonderful
In my own opinion i don't think 2018 is the year because regulators like SEC still go after project that made their tokens a security tokens, many people are afraid to invest into security tokens because of regulation and project are avoiding tagging their tokens security because of regulators, so it's not really possible.
In 2018, more and more ICOs will take the path of issuing security tokens, because it is the right and sensible thing to do, for them. Many of the ICOs to date have struggled to create a “utility token” in their economies.
I don’t think it’s really the time for tokenized securities. It can be possible if those are not utility tokens.
As far I understand that you mean security token. From my point of view security token is the connection between bolckchain and the usual financial system. I think this year security token price rise.

All coins that act as a securities are illegal in most countries. All coins that started as ICO should be securities. Countries have different rules how securities gets started and how are regulated. Until those laws will get changed all security coins organizers will have to defend themselves on court.
Security Tokens are based on blockchain technology. That's why it is more relaible and potential. I think it is more profitable token. It is top one in 2018. It's future will be better than present.
Security tokens will surely be big, simply because they are easier to do a track record with them, it is super safe and immutable. I can see it slowly happening somewhere in the next two years
Security tokens are very nice. These are based on blockchain technology. Which is going to be the highest profit taker in 2018. The demand for security tokens in the market has increased tremendously. I think it will be better in the future.
This year will not be the year of security tokens. This year will be the same as the previous one. Technology will develop and regulators will think about how to legalize the crypto-currency market. I'm really looking forward to 2019, because I believe that it will begin a great development and adoption of bitcoin, but this is just my wish.

I'm not entirely sure if security tokens are more abundant now because as I see it, exchange tokens are the ones taking the spotlight. Most of the ICOs now have their exchange as the main idea of the project and the token would be used in their ecosystem. what are they?

I guess the security token trend has started when the bitcoin source code has been published by someone and there was a coin that has created as a security coin called namecoin. But the security token becomes more familiar with us when ethereum was releasing the network and it has been putting an easy way to generate the asset that have used by so many icos.
Nothing can be predicted accurately in terms of crypto market. Many experts believe strongly on the blockchain and believes it’s going to do great in 2018. If bitcoin shows a great performance in the future then we can expect that other coins and tokens will perform great too, be it security or utility tokens. We are at the Q3 of 2018. Who knows what crypto has in its store for us.

I've heard many reviews and commentaries on that even I have heard that Ethereum and some of their major coins would become a security tokens, who knows what it can cause of them but really I think it is not that bad that many people are thinking. what are they?
