Its very hard to predict but I would go for the following as my top 5 altcoins for 2018:

In your opinion, What will be the top 5 alt coins to shine in 2018?
I guess if we are talking about the top 5, I think it will be ETH, NEO, EOS, LTC, and maybe MONEro. I think these five will still emerge as the top altcoins in the market given the value that these have already established plus these are well talked about coins right now.
There are so many good buying opportunities now for all investors. For me, I have a list top 5 of mine that I'm sure these coins are going to be the top and I have already earned substantial profits by holding these coins. They are ETH, XRP, NEO, LTC, WAVES. And I could say for sure that at least one of these coins will jump to the moon this year.
The most promising coins and has a good potential this 2018 it would be Ethereum,Neo,Ripple,Bitcoin cash,Stellar.These top 5 altcoins will continue to grow and profitable by this year.
There will be other really good alternatives to this list, we all wait and hopefully that will happen my ideas

When actually they're totally related to each other ? And in my opinion , Cardano don't derserve to be in this potiental list because they're not good enough for us.

ETH, NEO, RIPPLE, DASH, EOS. I am optimistic about these five. I think it may be able to develop better and be more stable in 2018.

Ambit Mining ICO https://ambitmining.io is equal to 5 Alt Coins I guess
I definitely pick etheruem. This is a very big contender, massive usage. I'm looking also at cardano , waves, dash plus bitcoin White. BTW has a separate technology which is an edge for the coin with a reasonable maximum supply of 60 million.
