Craig Wright, who has long got a negative reputation in the crypto community is knocking other projects and their representatives again. At the same time, he was involved in forging documents in the past. The user of Twitter under the nickname SeekingSatoshi decided to study the activities and persona of Wright in more detail and has found interesting data.

Wright has got a reputation for the most controversial figure in the industry. He constantly pushing everyone who does not like his young and controversial cryptocurrency Bitcoin SV. Besides, he tried to convince everyone of his involvement in the personality of the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto more than once. According to the data, Wright was exposed and fined by the Australian Tax Office in 2014 for falsifying documents.

It is not surprising that such an unreasonable and rude crypto figure gathered around himself a long list of enemies. But this is a relatively small developing industry. At the same time, the hash war between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV visually demonstrated the world that crypto enthusiasts can’t get a consensus among themselves on where they should be until the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. All this puts the cryptocurrency ecosystem in a bad light.

This time, Wright posted a blog the claims to Ethereum and Binance, whose representatives also consider him a fraud. For a long time, Roger Ver was the absolute leader in Wright’s list of enemies...

He is the fraudster here.
He tries to convince people that he iis the creator of Bitcoin in order to acquire more money from investors.
And now, after Roger Ver stopped spending time to him, he tries to get attention from Ethereum and Binance. So bad marketing from himself.

As controversial and idiotic as Craig Wright might be, I would want to agree with one of his statements, which is ... "ICOs collected billions of dollars from naive and careless people." The unregulated ICO boom did a lot of harm to the reputation of Crypto currencies in general and large amounts of investment money went down the drain with mostly scam ICOs dominating the ICO scene.

Craig Wright is making controversial statements like this for the free media attention and publicity that he is getting from this. He wants to stay in the media spotlight and this is one way of doing this.   Roll Eyes

read this one , claiming he is the real real Satoshi Nakamoto that has lost his wallets ... sending laptop with the wallets to get warranty  serviced
I know people over use the expression "lol" when they aren't really laughing, but in this case, I'm genuinely laughing to myself as I read this second part of the "grand reveal". Even the suggestion that Satoshi would only have a single copy of his private keys, and would send the drive containing those keys by mail to some complete strangers at an unknown warehouse to have it repaired under warranty is utterly laughable.

If the content of what this person says wasn't hilarious enough, then you only have to look at the writing style. It looks like it was written by a semi-literate child, or maybe even machine translated from another language. It isn't even slightly similar to the writings of Satoshi, of which there are many to compare.

I'm not sure the reason behind this most recent imposter. Simple advertising? Or gearing up for a scam? Either way, ignore this idiot please.

Even if the wallet got erased during the repair, is it that hard to recover them? Considering the fact that the coins in question are worth at least $10 billion now, he should get it done after taking help from data recovery service providers. But as you said, these are pathetic excuses to hide the fact that he has no evidence to prove himself as Satoshi Nakamoto.

His only aim is to create enough doubt in the mind of the cryptocurrency users (especially those who are new to this), so that he could prop up his BSV shitcoin. From what I have heard, me made a good amount of $$$ last time with his Bitcoin patent drama, which created a pump-and-dump cycle for Bitcoin SV. He may try to repeat it.

As always, these kind of claims do ends up on advertising purpose or just simply do like to make themselves to be popular for a while.

They are making themselves look fool on what they are trying to do.I  do even believe that Satoshi wouldn't choice to voice out himself on public if
he decides to come out.

just free advertising for a PR firm. Some ideas are naive, like "dedicating his comeback to Steve Jobs" lol Why Satoshi would need a PR? it makes no sense. he could use the bitcoin network and just sign a message from an old wallet, that would be really big news.

Nope. I wouldn't call him as an idiot. He created his own currency and named it "Bitcoin Satoshi Version" in order to create doubt in the mind of cryptocurrency users. He made well planned moved with his BSV coin and in the end he made profits worth hundreds of millions of USD. Idiots are the ones who had the misfortune of falling in to the trap set by CSW.

He accumulated a lot of BSV, at dirt cheap rates by provoking the crypto community (by filing lawsuits against his critics). A lot of the exchanges started delisting BSV, and the panicked users sold those coins at whatever rates they could get. Craig Wright accumulated a huge amount of BSV at very cheap rates. A few weeks later, he filed a patent claiming ownership to Bitcoin, and the BSV prices zoomed up by 150% or more. He sold a part of his stash and made many hundreds of millions of $$$ in profit.

He is one of the most intelligent players in the cryptocurrency market I have ever seen. He planned each of his steps in a meticulous manner and implemented them without any flaw.

He was an intelligent scammer who managed to make money by scamming cryptocurrency users. I sold my BSV coins (that I received after the forking) when the Blockchain.com guys threatened to delist it. Most of the Blockchain.com users were forced to sell the coins, as they had no other option. There is a chance that Craig Wright colluded with the owners of Blockchain.com to crash the BSV prices, so that he could accumulate the coins.

Such "bitcoin creators" just want to attract attention to themselves, and nothing more. All their words are lies, I don't believe them.

He didn't create anything; he used code created by others to launch a scam in order to steal money from the gullible.

He made well planned moved with his BSV coin
It is trivial easy to pump and dump a coin if you have a large social media following. McAfee, also an idiot, can do it with a single tweet.

I disagree. He is a great scammer, but he is not intelligent. He has been caught in his own web of lies countless times. He makes provably false claims and is technically incompetent. He thinks Satoshi is the kind of person who would file a nonsense copyright claim for bitcoin. He sues people and loses. He is an idiot.

If I'm not mistaken, Vitalik is pro Roger Ver, and CZ of Binance delisted BSV, so there's some personal grudge to settle and animosity to settle so I'm not surprised by the attack of CSW to Ethereum and Binance.

Yeah, I saw Vitalik on one of Ver stream when they did a hashwar.

Seems like we'll see more of this personal grudges attack. Hopefully, the development will keep going on even though the 'leaders' are involved in petty fights.

He has been exposed so many times, and I don't see him controversial, the only thing he got himself is that he has tons of money to stay in the lime light and paid lots of people to keep him that way, to be relevant be we all know his personality.

It is not surprising that such an unreasonable and rude crypto figure gathered around himself a long list of enemies. But this is a relatively small developing industry. The hash war is over, the people behind Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV are just here to make more money, nothing else. And it proved that their war can't stop Bitcoin, we did suffer from their petty war, but we withstood it while the two still remain way behind.

Another imposter. In General, nothing new. Why write about it at all?
To get attention and views for their article, simple as that.

The title is misleading and it should be "Bitcoin SV" not bitcoin because the difference is big for both. The author is acknowledging that CW is the creator of bitcoin, very misleading title and a clickbait that tries to gather views through the controversial guy.
Its indeed misleading where using up "Bitcoin Creator" word would really give out some curiosity on most readers but when you read up the article it do talks about Craig. Majority do knows this Troll which until now he do keeps claiming that Bitcoin is his creation without sufficient proof and now talking or trying to give some words on some project? He should first do focus on his own shit coin than on minding the others.

"Bitcoin Creator"?

Craig Wright, who has long got a negative reputation in the crypto community is knocking other projects and their representatives again.

The guy is constantly making claims of things that he can't show evidence that can convince the whole community. I don't know how he can do that and not feel ashamed. I keep asking myself:

What does he really want? is he desperate for attention or is he desperate for fame? or is he desperate to conquer the world? It's hard to understand what its purpose is.

According to the data, Wright was exposed and fined by the Australian Tax Office in 2014 for falsifying documents.

Oh, falsify documents? so he already has a track record of being a guy involved in schemes faking things

I only saw a small greedy group fighting for attention and power

Not really. The war between BCH and BSV shills only demonstrated that the people who blindly follow these two failed forks are almost as stupid as their leaders, Ver and Wright. Real crypto enthusiasts and users have complete consensus that bitcoin (real bitcoin) is the way forward.

Proven fraudster Wright calling anyone else a fraudster is peak irony. Charles Ponzi looks like an honest man standing next to CSW.
In addition, the two coins (BCH/BSV) ceators  are the real ponzi scheme the cryptocurrency market have ever since and only people who are absolute fool will believe in the future of coins which his creators are usually selfish, making lame excuses and always blame someone else for their own mistakes.

I will advice the OP to change the " Bitcoin" in the topic to BSV.

Media need something to talk about. CSW did a lot of things that are easy to write about even though it contains low-quality information. More readers, more traffic, more ads shown, more money made. Classic business strategy.

The reason why Craig Wright continues to do what he is doing which is deceiving people (or trying to with some success) is partly because we are giving him the space and some leeway to fool us. And we have to admit that the media seems to love the man as his pronouncement can easily be headline-grabbing. Anyway, I am sure that soon everybody will get bored to anything he is saying and he will finally be officially labelled as just another thrash not worthy of any attention.
