Gsw took game 1 even with steph and klay not scoring that much. They didn't actually need to do much with the way kd was playing.

Nothing has change to the Rockets, they are still owned by the Warriors.
CP3 was frustrated and got ejected in the game, I can already tell that they have no chance to win against the warriors.
They took game 1 and that's a good start for the series, if they can still win game 2, well I would say the chance is bigger as most likely they can take 1 game on the road and end the series in 5.

Warriors are a -9 point favorite on Friday playing on the road in Clippers.
I see some value in taking the home dog plus the points after the performance tonight.
This would give much value on the Clippers, you can take the moneyline and wish there will be game 7, they just played well tonight
and they could play better at home. They will try to entertain the fans as they haven't win at least one game in the series yet.

Well those that placed bets on gsw seem to just get their bets back with a little bonus lol. The matchup was one sided anyways from the beginning. Now we'll see probably the matchup to determine the champions in the west. Gsw took game 1 even with steph and klay not scoring that much. They didn't actually need to do much with the way kd was playing.

They truly deserved the win, they work for it and like he said, they learn from their past experience and they improve now.

They indeed had work hard for the win, Because OKC were for most of the game and had the biggest leads of the match even at some point in the 4th quarter OKC had a 15 point lead, I still wonder how the lost the game though.
Watching that game only reminds me how Westbrook used his mouth than his brain, if he only past the ball to George as there's a lots of time left to execute the play, although considering him as a franchise player but he can past then get it back for much clearer shot, instead of forcing it inside leaning for the ref to call a foul, but that Lilard buzzers really a magical one out of determination to win, they deserve it.

He already committed himself, and I think it was a design play for him to take the ball directly. However, Portland has anticipated his one-on-one, put a good defender forcing him to make a tough shot and obviously he misses.

So much for that trash talk, Damian Lillard won this time, and he can't can just to Damian to win playoff games first, because they are now off to the next round and Westbrook is no where to be found.

Discussion for playoffs only? lol. Another spam thread in the making. (And I just posted here lol)

This can already be discussed on the big thread of NBA. I don't see why need a separate thread for playoffs. One user here will post here then post there then post here then post there etc. etc. etc.

I noticed that Blazers always have better chance in the first round based on its history,

Wrong info mate. Their last appearance in conference semi finals was way back 2015-2016. For the record, they didn't won a single game during the 2 previous playoffs (2016-2017) (2018-2019). And just check how worst they are during the previous playoffs from there. That's why their recent entry to the second round is a big achievement.

See what Im trying to picture out here? My last post here.

Lillard made an amazing performance yesterday scoring 51 points in a game and he made Portland Trail Blazers qualify to the next round.
The next playoffs round is going to be amazing and great to see as the pairs that are going to play together are strong teams that can compete for regional finals ex Bucks-Celtics.

It was Lillards day, all shots are easy and he made a good record in the 3 points made this game.

Blazers definitely played some great basketball but i think OKC gave them this game. The score was 105-95 for OKC with about 7-8 minutes remaining, time when they relaxed thinking the game is already done. Westbrook also missed the last shot of OKC after which Lillard closed the game with a long 3 point shot.

For the East:
5 games MIL
6 games BOS
4 games PHI
6 games TOR

For the West:
4 games GSW
7 games HOU
6 games OKC
4 games DEN

Lol. 2 of the 3 sweeps you've listed here already had game 1 upsets. To be honest i didn't thik the lower half for both conferences would stand a chance against their counterparts. Brooklyn was a big surprise though i think this series can go down the wire. Ben simmons has been in the league for 2 seasons now and i still don't know why he hasn't developed an outside shot that would basically boost their chances against any team.

We can have a game like this an a winner takes all, that would be fun.
If we can find some sponsor for the prize or if OP can be generous enough, we can call this a competition.

That's a good idea, it can be done without sponsors as well but obviously there should entry fee to be collected as the the prizepool. But we have to make sure how many people are willing to join, although there are many NBA lovers but it does not mean there will be enough participants unless it is sponsored game where participants join it for free.

There are new teams in this year's playoffs and I think these playoffs is harder to predict compare to the last one. Anyway, these are my predictions.

West:
Warriors in 4 games
Rockets in 6 games
Thunder in 5 games
Spurs in 7 games (If this happens, it will be an upset for the Nuggets who doesn't have any experience in playoffs and Spurs already have many experience already.)

East
Bucks in 4 games
Celtics in 6 games
Sixers in 6 games
Raptors in 5 games.
I do have similar choices with this list. Its really hard to determine on whose gonna win and as you said there are new teams do able to
make through playoffs. We wont able to see sweep games on here for sure. Usually we will able to witness 4-6 games but lets see on what would happen.
