How about a monster dunk from Zion Williamson this morning? he seems to like doing fine and might gonna return next season for sure.
He was a prodigy and basketball fans have lots of expectations for him, he even got his personalized shoes because they've really expected to see him dominating the league.

Bucks just massacred the Bulls.

The final score is 126-98.... The big 3 of the Bulls did perform well with at least 20+ points each, however, their bench are very weak that could not give a decent contribution. The defense of the Bucks was also impressive, that's one of the biggest reasons why they won this game.

I'm feeling the playoff atmosphere now already.

The fact that most of these guys were veterans, they'll alwats get behind the transition. Even LeBron had a bad transition defense or offense.
AD's health condition is hopeless, his value may come down huge due to his frequent injury not just this season, but his whole NBA career was barrage with injuries.

I'm kinda excited to see what would the Lakers adjustments next season. They should start scouting for promising young talents than stacking more veterans.
AD always had these problems, he was never the player to be in a season and play 82 games, the highest he ever had was 75, which is scary when you think about it because that is his highest, on average he played like 60 games per season, meaning on average he misses 20+ games per season. he literally played 36 games last season, and mind you this isn't cut short pandemic bubble season, this is last year when teams played 82 games like normal.

This season is no better as Davis has played only 37 games, and I doubt that he will have time to recover from the injury before the end of the regular season. To be honest, I guess that the Lakers management will think about trading him if he gets injured again and misses a large number of games next season.
Davis should be back in a few weeks. He seems to be warming up and doing drills on court. Not at game speed but definitely making quick progress. Davis is 29 and still has a few years of prime left in him. If not for the injury, he'll most likely stick with lakers. Sucks to see him injured so often though. Even Magic Johnson believes that Lakers might have a good playoff run, with AD slowly getting back into action. We'll have to wait and see how that goes.

I encountered a post on Facebook questioning the Play-In tournament. They think that was a totally non-sense sh*t and the previous format was already good. At first, I might have the same thinking but if we looked at it deeply, sometimes there are teams sitting at 9th and 10th spot but looks far better compared to teams on 7th and 8th. I'm not saying totally it's the case today but in Western Conference, getting a playoffs spots are always tough and close that's why for me, the play-in tournament is a must and necessary as a final stage at those teams below to get a playoffs slot.

What others do think about this?

This is both good and bad depends on the team you are supporting. Ofcourse 7th to 8th teams supporters will prefered the old method since its already a guaranteed spot for them while the 9th to 10th team supporters will surely in favor for this to give chance to get a spot for there team so this split opinion is expected. This kind of method is only unfair if the standings of 7th to 8th place has a huge discrepancy to 9th and 10th place team since they made effort just to keep there standing good.

let's sight an example in the West, Timverwolves(7th place) has a standing of 42W-31L while Lakers(9th) & Pelicans(10th) only has 31W, It's almost 10 win discrepancy yet they are still forced to beat this guys in case they lose to 8th place team just to get a spot.  Cheesy

Huge win for the Chicago Bulls tonight. They’ve been on a big slide of late and are heading in to very dangerous territory getting this close to the playoffs. The worst thing that could happen is falling in to one of the play in spots, and then having to face say the Nets in an elimination series..I don’t love that for the Bulls lol.

Huge games for Lavine and DeRozan with 26 points each.

They got a really important and critical victory. As we approach the end of the season, every match is a little more valuable, and the teams that can achieve a good streak in these matches will be comfortable in the playoff time.

Their performance is really dropping of lately and they need this victory to recover back from those mess. This might boost their confidence level since they really need to step up on more stronger teams in playoffs. But we know their potential and the only one they need is to maintain their composure and have proper team work also a proper game play.

Yes, it is actually a team with a very high potential, I am sure that if they win the next 3-4 games, they will start playing as before. Every player is very conscious and wants to be the champion this year.
When the playoff time comes, everything will be different, maybe even the worst player on the team will reach the highest performance and we will be able to see surprising results. Everyone is preparing for these matches Smiley

Yeah I suppose but that potential is very limited, as much as that pains me to say as a Bulls fan. After tonight’s game (where they are currently getting their asses kicked by the Bucks) they do have a sting of pretty winnable games and it will be absolutely IMPERATIVE that they win those as there are few games left and their very last games are with difficult opponents such as the Bucks again and the Miami Heat.

Lebron is a great player and I like him, but dude is just way too old, even with scoring this many points, he is too old to carry a team of scrubs anymore, add in health issues and it is unlikely that they will even be in play-in, and even if they are they will just get eliminated.

If only he is surrounded by a good set of teammates, the Lakers might be one of the title contenders this year.

That old dude is averaging 30 PPG and if there's a teammates that is doing the same, they are a team to beat this season. But unfortunately, that's not the situation and the Lakers nation is hoping for a good surprise.  Not too late for Westbrook to regain his momentum. Just focus and disregard negative comments towards him.

Unfortunately I just think it doesn't work with Westbrook out there.  This whole thing relies on Bron defying the odds and then hoping to tread water until AD can come back.  Not looking good for them though.

Los Angeles Lakers are trying to hold onto the playoff area now. And they had an away game against Cleveland Cavaliers last night. LA Lakers had a really solid game against Cavs and destroyed them by 131-120. Lebron had a very solid game by the way. He got a delightful triple-double by 38 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. And he was the player who got the biggest role in their win as always. Lakers played superbly especially in the second and last quarters which was helpful for a win a lot here.

The goal is now to maintain their standing from 7th to 10th. More likely that they won't catch up with 7th and 8th that's why they are still in danger of not being in the playoffs as they are only over a few win on the 11th spot.

All remaining games are important. Even others are expecting them to have an early exit at the playoffs, still, it's good for me to see the Lakers at the playoffs.

Reaching the Finals has a slim chance. They will face the monster teams right away if ever they will pass the play-in tournament. That sounds impossible to get through but a slim chance means there's still a chance.

Very true. It's now or never. Even at play in tournament the other teams will give them a lot of trouble and they need 2 wins if they want to be part of the eight. If Spurs keeps on winning they might be in a bigger trouble because that is the 11th seed which means they are out.
Let's say they will stay at 10th. They win against the Pelicans but the bigger wall will be there. Either the Nuggets, Timberwolves or the Clippers preventing them to move forward.
I don't expect too much with the Lakers anymore. I may have also given up with the expectation of a big come back 20 games ago.

As a team, the Lakers are flat.

The fact that the bulk of their team is extremely old means that the team is not driven mentally to comeback - as there is nothing else to prove. Obviously, physically these people aren't in their peak condition either.

It would be interesting to see how the offseason goes for the Lakers. AD may well leave in pursuit of a better destination.

Well, it's quite hard not to notice their way of transitioning because almost all of them aren't that active anymore, well except for those young guys like Reaves and that seriously means that they are so weak in terms of defense. Let alone that AD is again injured and he could be back active again the playoffs if Lakers can make through past the play-in tournament and AD is more injury prone in the playoffs where the games are much more tougher.

The real story of the night for me was LeBron putting Kevin Love on a poster.  It was hilarious to watch their interactions afterwards also.  If you haven't seen the clip, google it.  LeBron absolutely destroyed Kevin Love who was trying to draw a charge.  Then afterwards Kevin Love put LeBron in a headlock and posted on Twitter that he's not messing with LeBron for at least 48 hours, whereas LeBron posted on Instagram that he hopes he's still invited to Kevin Love's wedding.  Those two have a great relationship and I had hoped the rumors of Kevin Love taking a buyout to join the Lakers were true, but Love decided to play out his contract and get all that $$$$$ he was promised.  Smiley

Nets are going to be hosting Jazz home tonight. And I see that bookmakers are favouring Jazz to win this game. But it is a slight odd difference between them too as Nets are in a great shape as well. They have started to play stronger recently and they are getting the products of their efforts for sure. Especially Irving has done an incredible work recently. For example, the game that he scored 60 points in was unbelievable. It was career-high points for him. I'm still waiting for him to start playing in home games too. Then, they can be awesome as before.
I expected the odds to be closer since Durrant is already playing at a high level but I can also understand why the bookies had Jazz at 1.7 while Nets at over 2. Mitchell is playing really well carrying his team to double digit wins in the past three games.

Discard Irving's recent performance since he is still not allowed to play home games.

It looks like there are no major injury to both sides so this shouls be an entertaining game.

That's why right there because kyrie is out.  The Jazz are a top team and will be real difficult for the Nets to handle without kyrie.  I wouldn't touch this game could go either way here.  Should be a good one though

I agree, that's because Irving is not there playing against the Jazz but it turns out that Nets have manage to gather their strength together to snatch a victory but it was a really good game to watch though. Mitchell as always the biggest contributor and have put 30 points and of course Durant also got the other side.

LeBron James made history after his away performance against the Washington Wizards. LeBron James became the second highest scorer in NBA history by increasing his regular season career total to 36,947. Although the LA Lakers did not show the desired performance this year LeBron became a giant with his performance in his team.

Good for him, however, the excitement is not that high because the Lakers are losing games so it's not good to celebrate the success of one person in a team while the team are in serious struggle this year. Lebron could drop 30+ points in a game because he is the top scorer, and sometimes he can make more than that especially when Westbrook struggles on making shots.

LeBron is not really the problem in the Lakers because he can still contribute big points for the team, it's just the fact alone that they're consisted of aging all star players that are currently not on their peak anymore and that's also the same reason why they are now getting bullied against weaker team. Then they have the Westbrook who was so overrated and then turned a liability in the team.

In short, they better scout and invest in young players for the next season because their current line up is being looked as a biggest joke in the league.

His mid-jump shot are one of the most beautiful thing to see whenever he plays. He knows where and when to shot, pump fakes his guard and sometimes he got a foul and 3 point play. So this win put them on track and which just a couple of games in the regular season, they still have to make some wins and carry this momentum to the playoffs.
To make it short, he makes it look so easy but its not. MJ and Kobe were known for that specialty and their names where written in the hall of  fames.
Some players do forget that basics now because of the popularity of three point shots.
I think Bulls can, but only if they will play defense as hard as they did yesterday because offense is not much of a problem for them with Lavine and DeRozan on their side.
Just get as much stops as possible then settle for a two, no need to force the three.

There's no signal yet if they are safe to just calm things down and control their minutes. With the Raptors trying to win every game they can to avoid the play in, they cannot just sit down and be at a tiebreaker. Next to them is Cleveland who had been playing in great chemistry with Garland leading them and those guys will try to overtake them and be on a safer spot.
Let's not forget the Nets who is on the 8th spot with Durant forcing every win. 10 more games and there's still a chance.

All the players on the court had a big role and they handled it properly and maintained the momentum of points then they will get the victory.
This team has a good teamwork and good play during their game so there's no reason they can not win or they can not proved that they are one of those stronger team to fight in the championship in this season.
On what you are mentioning these two players is great and a good players in the bulls that can carry their team.
