Surprising results in today's meetings. Before starting the 76ers-Hawks series, I was not giving the Atlanta team a great chance. Meanwhile, Trae Young is leading his team to another victory despite Joel Embiid being unstoppable again.
They have nothing to lose against the Sixers today in their home court. So they just play their usual game and then the pressure was put to the Sixers, they melted away, can't buy a basket or two, while Trae has having a field day.

In the Jazz-Clippers game, I didn't give the guests any chance when I found out about Kawhi's injury. However, Paul George shows that he can also play in the playoffs as befits one of the leaders.
Paul George is the next best option, it was a tough game and it was a complete turn around. Utah tries to comeback buy they have answered and weathered the storm. They probably close it out next game in their home court and set up a Phoenix vs Clippers for the WCF.

Playoffs PG just show us that he can do his thing again, glad they got the win and hoping that the homecourt advantage the next time will make it close to advance on WCF.

Well, if LA goes to the wcfs then Phoenix will go to the finals, with or without KL.
I'd doubt that for now.
PG should repeat this performance in the next game. By the way, the Clippers won 2 out of 3 games versus the Suns during the regular season. So I also doubt that the Suns can easily beat the Clippers, considering that they probably will start playing WCF without Chris Paul.

Now that's what you call unexpected especially for the Clippers team stepping up with Kawhi out of the game.
A big win for them and so does the Hawks coming back from an enormous deficit.

Bogdanovic and Clarkson were hot for the Jazz but damn, PG13 can melt all that heat they are producing.
What's their next step? Royce Oneal cannot handle him. Gobert is also a problem being attached to the rim and doesn't want to go up and defend.
I wish Coach Snyder reacted better on that small lineup input of the Clippers. Take Gobert out and trust the bench.

That's what I'm talking about pg needs to play like in pacers days, but now the jazz is on the ropes, they need to do something and shows up as the first 2 games of the series, Mitchells seems to be bothered by something i don't know maybe he's not that 100% after all, Clarkson, they need to adjust with the clippers defense if not, then being at the top of the standings are all that they can show, to the fans, to early for them to exit.

Who would have thought that both home teams and huge favourites today lose after solid first halftimes.

Philly was just crazy and the 2nd half of Utah is also a joke. How does Utah lose against a team which misses the best player on both offence & defence. They gave up so many points through technical fouls, and 1s and then miss 8 fts themselfes. All this combined is like 14-18 points that are missing or gifted.

With his performance today Donovan Mitchell validated why he was "snubbed" from the all NBA teams.

Well, if LA goes to the wcfs then Phoenix will go to the finals, with or without KL.

I can't fathom Sixers can't even score a basket in the last 7 minutes of the game. And if they loss this game, I think they are done in the series. Because they have been broken mentally specially that this game is in their homecourt.
Yes, if you look at the body language of the Sixers team, this is a big demoralizing lost for them.

The fans are all celebrating with that 18 point lead at the start of the 3rd and yet it seems that the basket was so small. Kudos to the Hawks defense on Embiid and then they bounce back inch by inch cutting the lead in the 3rd quarter and completing a massive comeback with a 14-0 run in the 4th.

Seth Curry was on fire, but he cooled off too. I'm most concern on Joel, it seems that he has aggravated that knee again in the 3rd when he try to go for a block on Trae or Lou's attempt. Too bad for those who have Sixers -6.5 handicapped.

Yeah that was insane.  Not only did they come back from 26 down but they were down 18 to kick off the 4th quarter.  You have to shave off a 1.5 points every minute just to tie it up.  Besides embid and Seth the rest of the team flopped.  Seth was on fire.  Game wasted now they have to win on the road to force a game 7.

That's why when there is much time left, you can still hope for the win and that's what we have witnessed earlier. The Atlanta Hawks have a chance to end the series on their home court in game 6 if the 76ers will not change the way they played in the last quarter of the game. They forgot that they are now on the second round of the NBA playoffs where every win is crucial and now they need to win the next game or else Embiid will cry on his way to the locker room again.

Unbelievable game between the Sixers and the Hawks. Atlanta down 26 points, but then Lou Williams and Trae Young combine bring the team to a comeback and now they've taken a one point lead with 1:26 left.

What can we say, it was a complete collapse from the 76'ers, it was a great comeback. One of the best comeback in this year's playoff. The Nets starring Durant came back from 16 points down. Now, Trae Young and the Hawks down 26, trim down the lead in the third and then shutdowns the Philly with tough defense.

One of the best playoff games with a comeback is Lakers vs Portland. I can't remember what year it was, but it is where Kobe lob pass to Shaq.

If they will win in this series, Nets should thank Durant for being a GOAT in that game, I can't believe what he did, he doesn't look like he came from an injury, he is just shooting well and driving the ball, he is a complete player with a clutch mind, he deserve to win the Finals MVP if they'll be the champion in the NBA Finals.
I totally agree with you. Durant is a type of player that when you need him, he will be there.
I think if he continues with that performance I also think he will win the MVP of the finals if the Nets get there

Chris Paul being out for Covid restrictions indefinitely puts a pretty big question mark on the Suns future in these playoffs. Hopefully the week long break and fact that’s he’s been vaccinated will get him back quickly. I’m actually not expecting him to miss more than one game, if that, but you never know. If he’s carrying a fever it could be all bets off for the Suns.
I can't believe it, the Suns can hardly beat the Jazz or Clipppers without CP3.

I feel bad about that, when CP3 is out of the playoffs because of injury, now he will have to "walk away" because of covid-19
when the team most needs CP3 help, there are great chances it won't play

And I thought all the players was vaccinated before they let fans in. Why are they keeping some information from us, like just tell the media if he was vaccinated or not.
I believe the reason for the spread of Covid-19 was with one of the players last week. They won't name the player also so it's really a mess out there.
Could this be the new way on how to make NBA more interesting?  Grin

76ers is really different when they are playing at home. You can see their strength when fans are on their side.
52-32 with 4 minutes on the first half.

It's such a hard news to hear for the Phoenix Suns after a quite good playoff run.

I am rooting for them to at least reach the NBA Finals. I don't what this means for the Suns without CP3. I mean he's the most vital piece for this good playoff run.
The NBA is bugged with either an injury or safety health protocols disabling players to play the most important games in the NBA. Dang it!

It is really bad news that Kawhi isn't going to be able to play for a very long time as he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Clippers did so good in the last two games of the series. Now, their job is absolutely going to be even harder without Kawhi. I've started having a feeling like Jazz will make use of this situation and manage to eliminate Clippers in this tough series.

1. Kawhi Leonard will miss Game 5 against the Jazz and could miss the remainder of the West Conference Semifinals because of the knee injury that he got in Game 4.
This makes me sad to be honest, I thought everything was fine for him on the last update and nothing were too serious. When Beverly just got in helping the defense and now we're missing Kawhi, he's their best shot to win this thing but he's absence will truly make a huge impact especially on their offense.

This is so bad, it's killing the excitement, but I still like the Clippers to win, they have Paul George that will step up and their veteran players should be able to play well. Kawhi was a big part of the Clipper's success, this his best opportunity to win the NBA Finals again, I hope his teammates will realize how he contributed to the team and win game 5 for him.

Without Kawhi Leonard today, I don't think the Clipper will win this game5 because Paul George can't do it alone, the latter is so erratic that you don't know whether he brings his A-game today or not. Damn, injury really takes the excitement in this postseason, no amount of load management save Kawhi from injuries going into the playoffs huh so I think they should stop that strategy  Grin.

Well its time for Paul George to prove his self that he's really a good player and can able to win without his counterpart since if he lose and struggle to beat the jaxx on their next match then maybe he's not totally a good leader unto his team. Also maybe its good for Kawhi to pass this game 5 to rest his body and get more better run if Jazz win the Game 5 of this series.
