We talked about Brooklyn Nets here too many times and highlight their lack of scorers besides Kyrie and Durant. Now they fill that gap with one of the best players in NBA. We have a new super-team in NBA now guys.

I have no doubts that Durant and Harden will share ball and play good together. Nets looks very strong now after this trade. I'm patiently waiting their first games.
When would be his debut game with the Brooklyn? I'm sure he missed playing with his former mate on Oklahoma before and now they're back together, they really are stronger this time.

They've played today although haven't seen him, still they won the game against Knicks.

Its also just weird that even though most of the superteams are being formed because of this cuts other players are receiving in their salary but its also another good thing because it just shows that some players are willing to receive this cuts just to make their team better. I guess the debut would be once the trade clears up with most teams involve. Its a 4 team trade from the news that I have read and Oladipo is still being looked to be traded.

I am happy for Harden for being traded finally. Because Rockets don't seem to gather themselves together. Harden has been complaining about it. I think Kyrie-KD-Harden trio will do awesome things together.

Hey guys, just wonder'n if there's an existing app for mobile to keep me updated on NBA News and live Games?
I just use Google as my live scoring application. It notifies me of the score without even opening the browser.
I think you will need to allow the notification setting.
NBA news, same. I use Twitter and follow NBA Analysts which are mostly working with ESPN for accuracy.
Same, it also notifies me without opening the app.  Grin
Most of the time when I wake up, I got loads of notifications on my smartphone.  Grin
I hope that helps.

Hey guys, just wonder'n if there's an existing app for mobile to keep me updated on NBA News and live Games?
I've been thinking and looking for this lately as I've been into mobile most of the time now...
Thanks in Advance! (posted here as this was related I think, and I also think it wasn't necessary to create a thread just for this)...

Edit:
As I've checked my laptop, I've been viewing this two sites for updates:
https://www.nba.com/news
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/
...
checked on playstore back then but it didn't have any legit apps...

My Google Chrome automatically pops up and updates me with the upcoming and on going daily matches including scores, game period, and remaining minutes of the quarter whenever I turn on my mobile data.
Nba.com is also a reliable source, but some other internet sources are more quicker in terms of news than the official NBA website.
How to set this up? And the thing is I suddenly  stopped using chrome now, and had been using Microsoft Edge, but I think that will work the same I think...

Same  works for me on what  Oasisman had been said when it comes to these kind of news on where Chrome does provide me the latest news and updates on things that
are happening on NBA. This isn't something for it to be set-up yet this will just pop out into that web page when you do open it, as sort of news tab or entry
just like when you do make use of Microsoft edge that do displays of news. How to set it up?  This might able to help https://support.google.com/googlenews/thread/1807380?hl=en

Sacramento Kings played a home game against Portland Trail Blazers this morning. Portland got another win (132-126) and they have a 4-win streak. On Kings side, D. Fox got 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. B. Hield got 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. On Portland side, Lillard got 40 points and 13 assists. McCollum got 28 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists.
Might be a cool update with images Smiley

And yeah 4 win streaks and that will be the last, not with the PACERS IMO Tongue

Nets lost their mind on this because they are chasing a championship, they forget that those three players are gonna have a hard time adjusting, they are all want to have their ball in hand, that's sometimes the issue with star players they don't want to outlast because they need attention, if the two of them won't adjust and give in to one star player I'll bet this its gonna be the worse big three ever especially Irving want to be the guy same with durant.

We will know this after 5 games those three playings together as a starter. But with Kyrie Irving's absence, I think we won't see those three playings together anytime soon. But if James Harden will change his play after him being traded to Brooklyn, this team has some potential to be a top contender in the playoffs.

If I was the Nets, I would play heavy load management to ensure that they are hardly ever on the court together.  Set them 3 feet apart from each other.  That way it might work out.

Yeah but come playoff time you aren't going to sit Durant 20 minutes a game just so he isn't on the court with Harden or kyrie.  In season yeah they can load manage but then in the playoffs what?they should ease through most of the east anyway.  But this seems patchwork at best.  Only saving grace is Durant is so dam good.  He can make it work by himself

Thats exactly what I meant, load manage the hell out of this team in the regular season - play into Kyrie's and Harden's ego, they are gullible enough to fall for it.  That way you can at least make it to the playoffs with hopefully no major drama.  You just pray that they are so focused in the playoff that its too short of a time period to completely implode.  I think it will either work, or be another epic fail.

And the NBA future odds have changed because of that news.

Nets now are next to Lakers as the favorites to win the NBA championship.

That's a fair change. They become the favorite in Eastern Conference. It's very possible that we may see Lakers - Nets final.
Honestly I can't think of better finals for this season.

I was wondering what were the betting odds of the nets before this actual trade? I mean it's like trading, the price is undervalued then we have a good news then the price pumped, I would say lucky are those who bought the nets when they are still not in the top 3 of the favorites.

We will see once Harden starts playing for the team, he will exit the Rockets, so hopefully that's the right decision to make. Harden obviously is very desperate to win a championship and now they made Nets a super team, and usually superteam succeed, so let's see.

No way for him to get  that title without any help with players who do have that caliber.

Now with the Nets the chance is very high. KD and Kyrie both have the title after pairing with co-superstars and a team that have championship  calibers. We will see now if how they'll going to distribute  the  ball and have a clear chemistry  from each other  to win the title.

And Durant could be really the glue with Harden on board now, load management? nah, it might hurt them in the long run specially coming playoffs and Harden are used to playing at lot of minutes as well if I'm not mistaken. So let's see how everything works, Durant will be the key whether this chemistry will bring them to the CF in the East or NBA finals with the Lakers this year, will be very interesting.

"Reporting with @RamonaShelburne
: Brooklyn is acquiring Houston’s James Harden in a blockbuster deal, sources tell ESPN."
source: https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1349463753465720836

And the rumor now become true, James Harden was traded to Brooklyn Nets.

What a turnout. But it costs Nets exchanging their good role players which I even considered the future of the Nets franchise, Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, and Taurean Prince. Want to see badly now where the Nets will end up this season.

On the other hand, I wonder what's the reaction of Giannis here. The competition in the East now become tough and his target reaching the Finals become more pain their ass.

WTF?!!!
Is this win or is it suicide?  Grin We will see.
I might follow Houston now and not Nets. Yeah, they might have superstars but I like betting for underdogs more.
Besides, LeVert, Allen, and Prince can still put their chemistry in Houston and now Wall can be a legitimate point guard.  Grin
I just hope they also added Dinwiddie with the trade.

Good news for Mavs fans, KP is back.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.

Nets gutted for the next 7 years.  Never farm the next decade out.  Good bad or indifferent they are stuck with those 3, they won't have any cap space and lost 3 first round picks and 4 first round pick swaps from 2021-2027.  I never like those kind of trades.  They were fine without Harden, they don't need a ball hole on their team they were just fine with all of their picks going forward.
It's a total gamble looks like they got handicapped with those first round picks totally neglecting what will come with those future rookies but it's their call they are ready for it might be for the sake of a ring (Huh??), still questionable. Let's see if they can beat the odds coming right at them especially right now that there are too many unpopular speculations of what this team might be, we hear this when the regular season hasn't started and here we are.

They totally make it a megahit kind of trade and I think they are into offensive and looks like Nash got a good chance getting that ring in his first career head coach. Who knows? We go forward. Wish they can take that minute allotment go even.
